One day, Catherine will grieve for him, but first, she would have to accept he was gone — and though she dug his grave herself, there was a fraction of her that clasps the memory back. There was a part of her that will never acknowledge he won’t come bouncing around some corner to laugh at her for falling for his elaborate joke.
