Chapter 60

His mom called, and it was a video call. Felix contemplated before answering it, but he figured his mother had her reasons for calling him on video without notice.

"My boy," was the first thing she said, a wide and genuine smile on her beautiful face. Her face was smooth with only a pimple on her left cheek. It wasn't too noticeable though, so Felix made no comment on it. Women never appreciated such. "How are you doing?" she asked.

"I'm doing fine, mom," he said sitting up on his bed. He was just about to take a nap, but decided that it wouldn't hurt to answer her. As long as she wasn't a stranger. It'd been a while since they'd talked.

"I'm seeing your chest," she grinned. "You're becoming a man o."

Felix let out a laugh at that. "I'm sure I looked like this for a while."
