29 Let's Just Book One Room

Finally, the long-awaited moment arrived. They were going to Europe together!

Ludwina really couldn't wait.

Andrea came to pick her up at the Raffles Hotel in a taxi, and they left for Changi airport a few hours early.

Usually, Ludwina would leave at the last minute because, as a platinum frequent flyer, she could come 5 minutes before the plane went and got special access.

However, since Andrea didn't like to stress if anything happened on the way to the airport, and they became late for boarding, Ludwina relented and left early.

Arriving at the airport, they could relax for a few hours in the business-class lounge while waiting for boarding.

'Actually... this is not bad,' thought Ludwina.

She threw her gaze around. In the lounge, she saw that Andrea was so relaxed that he looked like he was at home. The man didn't look awkward due to priority service for business class passengers, although Ludwina guessed that the young man had never flown in business class before.

Andrea blended in perfectly as if he were indeed one of the chic travelers who had lots of money and was used to traveling in premium style.

Once they boarded the plane filled with people from across the nation, Ludwina also saw Andrea mingling easily.

One would not be able to guess his nationality easily, just from his appearance alone. His face had fine unique Asian features, but he was 183 cm tall and his overall appearance looked European.

Ludwina could not take off her admiring eyes from the young man, who was adjusting his seat and slowly sat down.

"What're you looking at? Me?" Andrea asked with an amused smile, seeing Ludwina looked somewhat enchanted.

"Yeah, looking at you," Ludwina admitted shyly. She then sat on her seat next to Andrea. "I'm glad we travel together."

"Me too." Andrea handed Ludwina sleeping pills. "Wanna take this? So you can sleep well on the way and no jet lag when we arrive in Amsterdam."

Ludwina shook her head. "I never have jetlag. My body is used to flying across continents a lot of the time. I'll be fine. But you should take it. You don't want to spend holidays in the Netherlands nodding off because of jetlag. It's not fun. "

Andrea obeyed the woman. He took a sleeping pill after dinner and then immediately slept soundly in his chair, which was lowered into a flatbed.

"Good night, Wina. See you in Amsterdam."

Ludwina nodded. Usually, she also slept on the flight. She could sleep easily without sleeping pills because the plane was like home for her. But now she just sat in her place and watched the young man sleeping beside her.

She didn't mind if this person's face was the last thing she saw before sleeping, and the first she saw after waking up.

In her heart, she was full of thoughts.

'If Andrea had fallen in love with me as I thought, I might not mind marrying him. But.. I still don't want to have children. I just don't know whether this is acceptable or not.'

Ludwina couldn't imagine if Andrea decided that children were the most crucial thing in life and that he couldn't be with her because of this.

Ludwina sighed deeply.

'Or maybe... I have to make up his mind. Andrea has to fall in love with me so deeply that he can't bear to part with me and accept my decision not to have children... hehe.'

"Hmmm..." The girl weighed the various 'chances' in her mind and could not sleep along the way.

When the sun rose, their SQ plane finally landed in the Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam. Andrea woke up to find Ludwina still awake next to him, busy in her own thoughts.

"Mhmm ... are you awake?"

"Welcome to Amsterdam, Andrea. The weather looks perfect. The weather is great for sightseeing."

Ludwina avoided Andrea's question and immediately pointed to the airplane window. The weather looked bright outside. Usually, at this time, there would be a lot of fog, and everything was gray, but now the sky was blue, and the sun was starting to shine.

"It's a good omen. A good sign," said Ludwina.

The two of them then passed immigration quickly and took the train to Central Station. The hotel Andrea had booked was very close to Dam Square, not far from the train station.

When they checked in, Ludwina realized that Andrea had booked two rooms.

"Why not just book one room, Andrea? Take the one with twin beds. So we don't waste money on accommodation costs," said Ludwina in astonishment.

"Look. I'm a man, and you're a woman. Later, when we sleep in a room, we can be tempted to do all kinds of things that we might regret, don't you think?" Andrea replied with a shrug.

"Seriously, after exploring the city, we will both be exhausted and just want to lay on the bed and pass out. Tempted to do those 'things'? Impossible," Ludwina retorted. "Do you want to bet that I won't make you tempted? If I win, you carry me around Rembrandtplein tomorrow. How is it?"

"But the hotel has already been paid for, ah."

"Yep, no prob. Let's just go in first, try sleeping in a twin room and see if we're fine. Then we can change the next hotel booking into one room. Let's just leave it for now."

Finally, Andrea relented. He still paid for the two rooms he had already booked, but their two suitcases were put into the same room, with the twin beds.

"I'll take the one by the window, okay." Ludwina immediately claimed the best position, and she smiled happily to see that Andrea did not mind it at all.

'Hm... extra point for this man,' she thought happily. 'He's not fussy about small things.'

They walked straight out of the hotel and explored Amsterdam on foot. As a good tour guide, Ludwina took Andrea to the best places she knew. They ate at one of the restaurants in the city center while drinking Amstel beer, then took a walk to the Red Light District.

Next, the two of them tried marijuana at the Coffee Shop, which turned out to be ordinary. They explored canal by canal, sight-see the king's palace, then spent the rest of the afternoon at the Rijks Museum.

Ludwina was right. When night fell, and they finished their adventure, they were exhausted and just wanted to sleep. Ludwina took a shower first and hurried up to her bed.

When Andrea was going to the bathroom, the girl said that when the young man came out of the bathroom, he did not need to be afraid of being tempted by Ludwina.

Andrea did not understand what she meant until he finished taking a shower to find that the girl had covered her face with a black face mask that looked scary in the lighting of their room.

"See? I told you, you won't be tempted to sleep with me. This way, we can travel together without having to waste money on accommodation." Ludwina smiled triumphantly, then turned off the light at her side and started sleeping.

Andrea only looked at the girl while shaking his head.

'Okay, this means Ludwina won the bet, and tomorrow I will have to carry this girl at the Rembrandtplein...'

At this thought, Andrea could only smile to himself.

'Looks like I carried Ludwina a lot...This girl is sometimes like a child, huh,' he thought in amusement.
