1 An Appalling Demise

Gunshots echoed down the hall, they were close now, and Jian Ye was running out of time. The overlay that appears in his field of view Informs him that the machines were far from fully booted and integrated with his body, before it could reach the 70% mark, 5 men dressed in all black kick down his door. Their black tactical gear was almost able to hide the blood splatters that cover them, they spread out and bring machine guns to bear. Heavy machine guns of some sort, different from anything he had ever seen before, stout and big with a almost comically large beral topped with a muzzle break. All that followed was a loud boom and a blinding white light. The next time he became lucid, he saw a 'Nano machines fully integrated' painted into his vision, and on reveiw with what had happened up to this point he found memories that weren't his, memories of a street urchin with no family. He Had no real name and decided to embrace his previous one, he would make the most of this second chance.
