5 Chapter 5: Back to School for the first time

During the ceremony Tai Yang was glaring daggers at Tianshang's family but all of them ignored him and continued to enjoy themselves. When the ceremony finally finished, the Elders Meeting started. Only Elders and above were allowed to stay, all those non-related to the high ranking members were told to leave. Today was the day when it was decided which Elder was going to get a promotion, in his previous life, Tianshang's father lost it to Tai Yang because of his stronger cultivation base but in this life, his father was as strong as the Sect Master, a peak Heavenly Dao Sage Stage powerhouse who could fight a Low Heavenly Dao King Stage cultivator. ``All present pay respect to the Sect Master!'' `Misguiding the Heavens!' Tianshang cast an illusion over his family and told them to not bother bowing. Although he didn't want his family bowing to anyone, he didn't want to cause conflict over such a trivial thing. none noticed him doing anything as he was leagues above them in all aspects of cultivation.

Elder Tai Yang and Zhu Long have equal number of votes between them from both the Elders and Grand Elders, so it comes down to their contributions to the Sect and their Battle Prowess.'' As soon as Tai Yang heard the words `Battle Prowess', his face turned ugly. He knew that their Sect Contributions were around equal and he had found out that Zhu Long was stronger than him. So, rather than humiliating himself further, he decided to forfeit. But before he could say anything Zhu Long spoke up, ``I would like to give up this my chance and offer this position to Elder Tai Yang. He is a great Elder and had recently finished off the Evil Dark Yin Sect. His contributions to sect are greater than mine.'' With this the whole meeting ended pretty early and the family left for the Mountain their house was situated on.

``Zhu Long!'' just as they were leaving, Tai Yang approached them once again, only this time there was no mocking tone in his voice when he spoke, ``I thank you for doing this. I was only acting against you for this position. I am sorry for being so petty.'' Tianshang's jaw at this moment was touching the floor. Even in his previous life where he had lived for over a million years, he had never heard the words `Sorry' from Tai Yang's mouth. The dude was a jerk his whole life. ``It's alright Tai Yang. We are from the same Sect, there is no need for conflict just because of a position.'' With those words and promises of visiting each other, the family left the Jade Peak and returned to their house. We are at a place where I don't need that position and I can avoid causing problems within the Sect by giving it up. Tai Yang knew I was extending an Olive Branch and he accepted. Though you shouldn't take this as an example of how any conflict will end. Most people you will meet in life will be stubborn and instead of just taking the Olive Branch, they will take it and stab you with it.''

Tianshang was shocked at the profundity of his Father's answer, in his previous existence, he had always met the stab you with you Olive Branch type of people, even his friend Lei Feng was such an existence so when he found how Tai Yang's behaviour changed all of a sudden, he felt conflicted. Even with his own millions of years of memories and knowledge and added with Old Man Zibo's Billions of years, this was a first. Life always finds ways to surprise you. After the ceremony, the family returned to their usual life, playing, cultivating, eating, sleeping. But Tianshang's schedule was about to change a little, he was finally allowed to leave the Mountain without his parents tailing him provided he attended Sect Classes that were starting soon. Although a little conflicted at his parent's decision, he was a filial child and also he didn't want to get spanked. Even with his Divine Foundation Stage Body, it still somehow hurt, it was a mystery of the Universe.

The first day when he was about to leave the house to go to his Lessons, his younger brother and sister started to cry. ``Uwaa! Big Brother, don't leave us. Lei'er won't eat you desert anymore.'' Before he could respond to that, his little broter started to talk as well, ``Yes! Yes! Big Brother, you can have all my toys, I won't even ask you to give them back.'' `you definitely will' thinking that in his head, Tianshang rubbed the heads of his siblings lovingly and said, ``Stop crying, Big Brother is only going for a few hours. He was expecting them to let go immediately and ask for the gift but he forgot, they were the same kids who demamded they sleep with him in his bed causing his parents to look at him with jealousy. ``We don't want any gifts, we ant Big Brother!'' barely able to say a word while sobbing, Roi finally had to use a Divine Black Grade Technique to stop his siblings from crying. ``Divine Mirror Clone!'' next to him a flash of light appeared which slowly turned into him, ``Hey Little Hai , Little Lei, look Big Brother will go outside and play with you as well. Okay!'' his little sibling were happy and they let go of Tianshang's pants which were now covered in snot, he dealt with it and left his siblings with the clone. If anyone in the Heavenly Plane knew that he had such a technique and he was using it to entertain a few kids, they would spit blood and try to kill him, emphasis on try as they wouldn't be able to.

Arriving outside the Mansion, Tianshang jumped from the side of the Mountain and let the wind blow across his face as he fell thousands of feet from the air. When he was about to reach the ground, he used his energy to stop the momentum as there would be a gigantic crater next to the Mountain if he landed with his body. He used his Divine Sense to check for people as well, only Nascent Soul Cultivators and above could fly and those below that Stage had to use Flying Weapons or Talismans. Finding no one around, he landed and went to the Jade Peak School Building, today he had a class from a Warrior Department Teacher, him a Heavenly Dao Sage Stage cultivator who could fight Divine Realm Practitioners had to learn from a Heavenly Realm Teacher. He was wondering why his parents who knew his level wanted him to go to school for. Arriving at the School Building, Tianshang wasn't at all nostalgic, in his previous life, he learned everything from his parents and their friends at his house and had never come here. He had left the house only to visit other elders with his parents and had made contacts with every generation except his own. After that he left the house at Twenty Two and explored the continent he was currently on, Azure Dragon continent and returned home only when he was around Forty and dived into Cultivation, Alchemy and other professions. He only left to find materials or fight other geniuses for experience in battle. This was how he spent the Million years of his life, fighting or learning, never meeting someone to make friends, only to fight, learn or make money.

That was why when he made a friend, Lei Feng, he didn't find it weird when he kept asking for pills, weapons and other things, he just kept giving him what he wanted. he had spent most of his time in seclusion or with his parents and their friends never coming into contact with people like Lei Feng, never learning to judge a person. His parents had heard about his life from him and wanted to change its course, he was already at the top of Heavenly realm's food chain but they wanted him to enjoy his life and not waste it just on cultivation and learning, again.
