The man quickly placed the gag back into Patrica's mouth and readied his stance for battle. As he heard my heavy footsteps approaching.

How did I arrive so fast, well, I used Complete Transformation rather than partial. This way I would arrive faster and if anyone spotted me then they would think that I was just some beast hunting.

And even once Patricia's scream came to an end, I had locked onto her location via smell. I was following the remains of her smell through the forest, that was until I was about to be upon the kidnapper.

Once I had a clear view of Patricia and the man within his stance. I hurried and used my inspect skill before taking my clothes out of my inventory and reverting back to my human form.

'Inspect!'

"He's a monster!"

"There's no way I can take him down! It's not just his stats that matter but his Ki and his Ki Control, just how strong is someone at the Adept level?"

Marcel pondered before stealing his resolve and beginning to come up with a makeshift plan.

"My Stat points out match his but his Ki can make up for that, and I'm not as good as him when it manipulating Ki so I'll just have to focus on what it is that I'm good at."

I said quietly with a smirk on my face as I focused on Reed.

"Hey System, how many more minutes do I have left inside of my Wendigo Form?" I said while staring at the black deer skull icon which indicated that I was out of my Wendigo Form.

[A total of 4 Minutes remaining.]

"That will have to do, alright it's time to finally test out my skills against an intelligent opponent. And this time I'm all going all out."

"ROARRR!" I roared before dashing at Reed like a bullet.

And even though Reed was prepared, he wasn't ready to fight a beast and one with eight agility points higher than himself. Also he had yet to infuse his blade with Ki, thus when we both clashed head on he was thrown back into the cave.

BAM! Reed had been thrown into the cave wall and had left a huge imprint in it.

Reed then threw up a mouthful of blood, before coming to his senses and charging at me. This time his blade was full of Ki.

'I can't afford to underestimate this beast, a rare humanoid at that, so I'll use Fury of the Iron Dragon!' Reed thought before empowering his blade with all thirty points of Ki.

As his blade flickered with light, Reed charged straight at me. He then thrusted his sword at my stomach to which I instinctively blocked, though he used the momentum of his blade to change its course.

And unleash a clean slash across my left leg, and then fire an onslaught of forward thrusts. It was as if his blade had turned into a rapier instead.

'It was a feint!' I thought while feeling the full power of Reed's technique, and mastery over his sword.

With each thrust of his sword, it grew deeper inside my chest and other limbs. And with each thrust, Reed's confidence grew.

'Master told me that he once had come across a humanoid beast and that they were a state secret, however they don't seem all that strong to me!' Reed inwardly thought with a smirk on his face.

The battle had swung in Reed's favor, that was until the two had come outside of the indent of the hill.

'System, tell me each time his health lowers and its current state overall. I'm too busy setting something up to view above his head.' I thought before slamming my left leg into Reed, sending him flying into a tree.

CRASH!

The force of impact had uprooted the tree, and broken two of Reed's ribs.

[Reed's current health has now been lowered to seven, and your hit did a total of five points of damage due to the opponents endurance level. And their timely switch of Ki from their sword to their body before the kick.]

"What's my current health?" I asked mostly in one snarl and growl.

[15/30 Life Force remaining!]

"How long is left, and will he die if he has no more health?"

[1 Minute remaining, and yes the human will die upon reaching zero life force.]

"I might as well spare him, because Patricia has already seen my form now anyway and I might need her for the next exam." I said in an indifferent language and voice that no human could possibly understand.

"Time for the moment I've been waiting for." Both I and Reed said at the same time.

I held my hand up and spread out in front of me and ordered two commands of the system, whereas Reed used some of his Ki to heal his wounds and empower to use the same move he used against Patricia.

The red number seven appeared above Reed's head as he drew closer.

"Activate Bone Affinity. Activate Bloodline Skill Spine Whip!" I ordered the System with great haste.

I then felt a sharp pain in my back, it was my spine piercing through my skin. After grabbing it and ripping it out, a new one grew back in place, and my life force was down to 10 Points.

I then held my spine in my right hand and held up my left hand, and pointed at Reed's approaching figure. And fired all five of my fingers at Reed and as they pierced his body, they did 0.5 damage each thus bringing Reed down to 4.5 Life Force.

And this made Reed come to a stop and look at me in fear. He was leaking blood from five holes and was in even more pain as I retracted my fingers back to my hand.

"How long!?" I asked before dashing off into the woods just in case, because if the two would have discovered me then I would have automatically resorted to earning more stat points.

And that meant their death, and I was trying to steal away from killing as I had only recovered a little bit from seeing the deaths of my family.

Though this didn't limit me from my survival beast or human.

And I didn't want to be forced to do such a thing and inflict further damage and strain on myself mentally.

However even I knew that I would take mental damage over death any day, death meaning being discovered by the Golden.

[1 Second!]

Then in a flash of red light, I reverted back to my human form. And upon that, my Wendigo Form spine had turned into ash and blew away.

I took a few minutes of rest to let my wounds close up and used some of my Ki to hasten the healing process.

Then when I was all patched up, I ran away and approached Reed's hiding spot in a different direction.

Then I ran to Patricia's side and undid her binds with raw power. Before running to check up on Reed.

He was laid flat on the ground on his back and using Ki to keep himself alive.

'Will he live?' I asked the System with a bit of worry and sadness.

Why? Because I didn't want Reed to die and also because if he died then I wouldn't be able to obtain a stat point thus making the only good reason I came, saving a girl who can't use Ki.

[The human may live if he has saved up enough Ki to repair his wounds. And no there isn't anything you can do to save the human, because you have already used up your storage of ten mere points of Ki.]

'Do we have a problem system?'

[In fact we do, you've wasted my time helping you injure a male human and not even help finding yourself a girl?]

[Do you want to be alone forever?]

'Ah, you're like a TV needy mom.' I thought while releasing a sigh.

"What do we do Marcel?" Patricia asked while standing right beside me. And pointing at Reed's slowly healing body.

"Why are you asking me, I didn't do this, for a matter of fact what even happened here?" I said while trying my best to play dumb.
