The next day I awoke in confusion due to smelling a great nose blinding sweet and meaty aroma. Then I soon began hearing shouts and the rushing footsteps of people.

"Autumn, we have to…run." I noticed that Autumn was nowhere to be seen, and while searching for her I came across bloody writing.

"Sorry", the writing read, and after only a few seconds of thought, I had connected all the pieces of the puzzle.

"So I was right all along, she was never to be trusted!"

"How dare I let myself drift asleep while being suspicious of the woman behind me! You idiot Marcel! That witch was a Golden member all along, and now she's gone and snitched on me!"

I shouted in rage before crawling through the hole and meeting the gazes of many. Though before I was caught by physical contact, I empowered my feet with all my strength and even with Ki.

Then I shot into the forest like being slung from a giant slingshot. Luckily I made my way past the members with ease and was able to control the direction of my body. Or else I would have hit many trees along the way.

Then once I landed down on the ground, I made sure to recall my previous thoughts to get a clear picture of who exactly Autumn Say Rider was.

'The first thing I noticed wrong with her was that she hid her true capabilities, however with my Inspect skill I was able to tell the real scope of her abilities.

And no one just hides something without reason, which must be because she was working with the enemy and this was her first attempt to fool Patricia and me.

Then when I called out her missing piercing, and after a few minutes, she suddenly had it back on and also a space ring. With this part, I'm stumped because what was her purpose for removing her piercing?

Could she have done both hide within our mist as a spy while also participating in the entrance exams? This could have all been possible if she had her real uniform in her space ring, or am I overthinking and she just left it out before me?

It was morning and I was both furious and hungry, needless to say, I was also dying of thirst.

'After I find something to eat, drink, and release my anger on then I'll go searching for Patricia. That is assuming Autumn didn't fail her already.

Meanwhile, the man holding Patricia hostage had just awoken to her attempts of breaking free from her binds.

"Just give it a rest already, those vines were evolved during the big explosion caused by Mr. King. Thus they have obtained special properties and this vine here is called Bane." The man paused before dropping down right in front of Patricia.

"They're called Bane because they are used to prevent people from drawing World Energy upon contact, pretty cool right, my wife?" The man asked Patricia who began trying to kick at him while he spoke.

'I heard from my master that if I was ever to extract information from a woman that by calling them yours and your wife then it would make them even more uncomfortable but it's taking a toll on me.' The man thought while staring at Partica.

"Alright, it's time to get down to business. Patricia Vanessa Williams, you have been accused of siding with the Beast Lord and his underlings.

This is a crime currently punishable by death, do state your case, as it will depend on if you leave this forest alive." The man said while gazing deeply into Patricia's eyes, before he. removed her gauge.

Once it was removed, Patricia swiftly released an onslaught of swear words upon her kidnapper. Once she was finished, she then began stating her case.

"Tell me, what claims do you have against me regarding the Beast Lord bastard!" Patricia shouted and spit at her assailant.

"You have been accused of selling formation and placement details regarding the military and golden's current loss in battle against the Beast Lord's troops.

And before you continue, I want you to understand that I currently have the power to end your life, and I'll get off scot-free regarding your death." He said while towering over Patricia with his hand on the hilt of his blade.

His action and words scared Patricia to death because even though she couldn't use Ki she still couldn't break free from her binds. And the damage the man's blade caused her last time frightened her beyond belief.

There was only one thing Patricia could do to survive and that was to either admit to the claims or to share with the man who she thought to be the real traitor.

'I'm sorry master.' She thought before spilling her guts out to the man before her.

"I admit that I was aware of my master's plans, however, I did my best to stop him from joining the Beasts! And he would have listened to me, his only daughter, if not for a golden member abusing their power to slay my mother!" Patricia told the man all while being on the brink of tears.

"To be honest with you, I didn't think you would break so quickly. I haven't even administered my favorite techniques. Alright well, where did all these events take place, and when?" The man said before inviting more questions.

Then after asking his last question, Patricia began screaming. Refusing to answer his last question and those screams were all Marcel needed to lock onto their location, seeing as he had already filled his belly and released his frustration on some beasts.
