38 Mitsuki

From then on, Diluc was forced to visit the Bakugo's home regularly.

Thankfully, neither of them had any real intention to try and get along, they both stayed in different rooms and even if they met while walking around the house, they'd ignore each other.

On his second visit, he was trying to fall asleep while watching T.V. Mitsuki had come home from buying groceries and saw the young man's eyes slowly shutting.

"If you'd like, I can take you home. I'll just tell the principal that you stayed the whole time." She spoke.

"Well, it isn't much different, just watching T.V. all day, other than the absence of my family of course. But you seem like a fine mother." Diluc commented.

"Well, I don't know about that... I seemed to have failed with Katsuki." She muttered.

"You provided him with a great life in a safe neighborhood and judging by how you acted in the principal's office, your parenting techniques should work wonders on someone like Katsuki. Unfortunately, he's far too stubborn." He responded.

"...I feel like you know him better than I do." Mitsuki spoke.

"I know him well enough considering he picks fights with me every time he can." Diluc lowered his head back into the couch's pillow.

"The brat's been doing this for a while?" She asked.

"For as long as he's had a quirk. Well, it's not like he's ever hit me with it." Even though he bragged, his facial expression didn't change. As if dodging explosions on the daily wasn't challenging in the slightest. Mitsuki sat down with him on the couch.

"So, what's your quirk? If you don't mind me asking of course." She asked.

"Uhh, basically, every night, I go into a different world and fight mythical beings to the death and any weapons and skills I get along my travels I can summon. Thankfully, I can't die nor can I feel any pain." He answered.

His quirk wasn't a big secret. It didn't matter if villains knew of the ability either, what are they gonna do? Go to the Dark Souls universe to understand the weapons and magic system?

The only thing they could benefit from is the knowledge that he can summon weapons. Which isn't very useful when you can't do anything to stop that weapon from cleaving you in two.

But regardless, he kept the darker aspects of his quirk a secret. He had already scarred Inko and was working to convince her he was fine and he didn't need a therapist again. He didn't need another MILF to worry about his mental health.

"What a unique quirk. I'm quite jealous, all my quirk does is make me sweat glycerin." Mitsuki spoke.

"Don't be, I'm sure every middle-aged woman would kill for the chance to look so good at your age." Diluc responded.

"I'm not sure if I should be flattered because of your compliment or insulted because you brought up my age..." She muttered.

"It definitely wasn't an insult. I've met very few women with looks rivalling yours." He cheered her up.

"I assume the others were models?" Mitsuki asked with a cheeky smile. She was well aware of how good she looked, but in a society of superheroes, looking good was hardly a superpower.

"No, they're my wives." Diluc responded, matter of factly.

"You're a good joker." She laughed and expected him to join her, he didn't.

"..."

"You're being serious?" She asked.

Diluc nodded.

"Oh... uh, Ok." Mitsuki stopped laughing and awkwardly continued watching the T.V. with Diluc.

"Are you being awkward because you don't believe me or you're uncomfortable with it?" Diluc was genuinely puzzled.

"A bit of both, if I'm to be honest. It's hard to believe beautiful women just attach themselves to a child after all." She said with a struggling smirk.

"You have my mom's number if you need to verify it." He spoke. Mitsuki made a mental note to ask Inko about it later.

They continued watching the T.V. There wasn't much on at the moment, so Diluc kept clicking through the channels and gauging the reaction from Mitsuki as to what they would watch.

He saw that her expression lit up when he got to a certain move, "The Titanic". It just so happens that it was quite a ways through the movie and the two main characters were showing each other exactly why they should stay together.

Through a sex scene of course.

Jack and Rose caressed each other while exchanging saliva.

Mitsuki was feeling extremely uncomfortable watching this with a teen, but at the same time, it was her favorite move.

Diluc was completely unfazed, it was an act that he was going to do in excess in only but over a year from now.

Their moans filled the living room, although she knew she shouldn't, Mitsuki was getting more and more immersed into the film.

By the time the movie had ended, she was in tear, just like every other time she had watched the movie.

Diluc, as always, had no expression, even yawning. The ending wasn't particularly impactful.

Mitsuki took a minute or so to regain herself, although her now red eyes were a dead giveaway or what had happened.

"I'm always surprised at how many people get emotional over this movie." He commented.

"It's a great movie. The romance was so amazing, and it has a realistic ending..." She daydreamed about getting a prince on a white horse like that as well. Unfortunately, both men and women are consumed for their desire for the best partners. What they settle for is what they don't want and that seemed true for Mitsuki.

"I dislike it. The ending was garbage." Diluc stated.

"Hey! It's realistic not garbage! The characters act like real people and not every ending is rainbows and sunshine's!" Mitsuki argued.

"If you truly love someone to the point nothing will stop you from being with them, then nothing should. You should pursue that person to the ends of the earth, if either of you are in danger, you won't die even if the universe wills it. If you truly love someone, you won't settle for anything less than the best ending." Diluc spoke.

"..." Mitsuki thought on his words for a bit.

"Anyway, I'm leaving now." He said as his body turned to flames. The flames disappeared and turned into ash before Mitsuki could react.

She instantly got out her phone and called Inko. As soon as she picked up the phone, Mitsuki shouted at her.

"Your son just got lit on fire and got reduced to ashes! I don't know what happened! I'll call the police and ambulance immediately!" She shouted.

"Oh, don't worry about that, Diluc surprised me when he did that for the first time as well. That's just a part of his power." Inko's voice cooled Mitsuki down instantly. She sat down in exhaustion. It's not easy to 'see' a kid dying in front of you in world record breaking times.

"That brat scared me." She muttered.

"Hey, it is true that the boy has multiple wives, I heard he talking about it." Mitsuki asked.

"Yeah, the house has become livelier because of it. Although I'm concerned that we might have to move to a bigger house to accommodate them, it's also quite costly to feed all of them..." She replied.

"Oh, I see..." Mitsuki pondered.

"Mitsuki, would you like to join Diluc and I for morning jogs? I know you've put on some weight as well!" Inko asked excitedly.

"I have not!" She playfully exclaimed.

"Oh, so you aren't joining us? Don't blame me when I become better looking than you!" Inko laughed.

"You are so on." Mitsuki replied.

This all happened unknown to Diluc who was outside at the pool, relaxing. It looked like he was trying to get a tan, but the sun's rays couldn't influence his body whatsoever, he was completely made up of fire after all.

Momo, Kath and Anri were playing in the pool and Yuria was sipping an alcoholic beverage while soaking her long, tantalizing legs.

This was his self-imposed reward for completing Dark Souls. He had conquered one third of his quirk.

Spending his time with his women was the least he could do to unwind.
