The reason Diluc never got rid of Pontiff's limbs before this is because Pontiff never gave him a chance to, he was too alert during the fights to let that happen unless a miracle occurred. Only after playing with its food for almost a year dulled its senses to a point where Diluc was able to get a critical strike to begin the fight.

And thus, Pontiff fell. Sometimes a fight is decided so simply and unfortunately for the rest of the bosses, Diluc came out of that fight a master in fighting. The bosses wouldn't have much a chance to adapt to Diluc if they die after the first or second attempt.

However, before that, was Diluc's celebration. Which came in the form of lying down and crying in victory, all the pain, all the time lost was paid back to some degree. 5 and a half years wasted had finally come in handy, he was victorious. Unfortunately for Diluc, Pontiff's body evaporated after being killed, otherwise he wouldn't stabbed at that corpse for hours, until it was impossible to distinguish body parts.

He long since had the qualifications to use the Fume Greatsword, however, such a slow weapon didn't help in the slightest against a boss who effectively had 4 weapons.

Unfortunately, as much as he wanted to. He wasn't able to level up any more. He asked Kath about it.

"Why can't I get any stronger than this?" Diluc asked with a confused expression.

"You haven't shown that the souls should accept you as you accept the souls. However, you can stockpile them for when you prove yourself.

So anyway, Diluc was rich.

Oh yeah, he also went through the Ashes of Ariandal DLC area... they didn't stand a chance, even sister Frieda wasn't able to stop Diluc from ripping her limb from limb.

The day after he had beaten Pontiff, was his first day at middle school. He woke up ecstatic, he had eliminated the threat that had loomed over him for so long.

He woke up between Yuria and Katherine. Throughout the past 7 years, they were his emotional support and had convinced him that he didn't need to go to his psychologist as they were sufficient. And they were, both of them were trained to serve the one who would link the flame so they were very able to help him with whatever he wanted.

Yuria, at first was somewhat hesitant to live with Diluc. She expected him to kick and cry like all children, to her, the only reason he was able to fight so well is because of his mysterious ability to summon things from the Dark Souls universe, if he could do that, why couldn't he do other things. But over the years, the bond between Yuria and Diluc had tightened, she had put more faith in him and was much more willing to help him with anything.

Katherine hadn't changed much, she did all she could to help Diluc no matter the problem. She would also manage to flirt with him at any given moment as long as his family wasn't around. She also tried to help his family where she could while Yuria only wanted to help him.

Both of them had also gotten more sexual with Diluc. They didn't mind changing in front of him at all, they also demanded to choose the porn he'd masturbate to, usually consisting of many women and one man. Recently, they even started to go to the bath with him.

However, they kept to their word and never went any further than kissing without tongue. They were waiting about 4 more years until they stopped holding themselves back.

Izuku had been accompanying Diluc to the gym and had become very strong for his age. Even though he was quirkless, he was able to fight people with mid-low tier quirks. However, he never lost his skinny frame or shy personality so he looked pretty weak and acted pretty weak until he broke your spine. He had also made multiple versions of his 'Hero Analysis for the Future', there was also a villain version. It analyzed the strengths, weaknesses, habits and personality of all public villains and heroes.

Izuku allowed Diluc to peep at it every now and then but other than that he showed it to no one and for good reason. If a villain got his hands on this, it'd be catastrophic, Diluc used Izuku's tips in order to fight a semi-famous villain a year ago and he didn't even need to summon a weapon in order to take care of him. Izuku was a cheat.

Momo had become more and more mature over the years. She now had her signature long silky hair although she was still developing (both physically and mentally). She was still extremely clingy but she didn't yap on and on for hours, although that might be because Yuria and Katherine 'asked' her nicely. She was also making good progress with her quirk; she was able to create more simultaneously and more complex things although still not anything with multiple parts like a gun.

And now, back to our protagonist who was currently humming while brushing his teeth. He was listening to music as no one else had woken up yet. In fact, he was quite sure that he was so excited that he forced himself awake an hour early.

He had basically already gotten completely prepared by the time anyone else had woken up.

"I didn't see you at the firelink shrine last night." Diluc heard Katherine's voice behind him while he was making himself a hot chocolate. He quickly gave her a kiss and explained himself.

"I finally won! It feels great!" His small sentences perfectly conveyed his excitement. Katherine doubted if she had ever seen him this happy before, even when she had joined him for a bath for the first time.

"Awww. Good job." She pulled Diluc's head into her breasts in which he accepted gracefully. Both of them stayed like that until his hot chocolate had finished. He then zipped around and took Kath to the living room couch where he'd use her as a chair.

(A.N. Katherine is annoying to write, I'll use Katherine in formal settings but otherwise I'll use Kath, this goes for the characters speaking to her as well.)

For the next 10 minutes, Diluc could be seen sitting on Kath's lap while using her breasts as pillows and sipping hot chocolate. He was watching some hero footage on the news, unusually, he wasn't complaining today. Kath was silently playing with his hair; she didn't pay any attention to the T.V. screen.

Soon, Yuria also entered the living room and was curious after seeing Diluc's happy expression.

"What has my husband happy so early in the morning." She inquired. Kath explained the situation while Diluc continued to watch the news broadcast.

"Ahh. So, you'll be marrying Anri tomorrow?" Yuria asked. Diluc's expression instantly went from beyond happy to completely neutral. Over the past 7 years, Anri had been helping him with his crushing defeats, she had been as much as a psychological support for Diluc as Kath and Yuria had been. The fact that she'd be gone until he usurped the flame made him quite sad.

Regardless, death hardly affected him anymore. He was sadder that she'd be gone for a while than the fact that he'd have to marry her corpse.

Soon, Inko and Izuku also entered the living room, Diluc's expression had gone back to neutral and was now sitting between the two girls so they didn't notice any difference.

An hour had passed, and the brothers were about ready to head off to school. That was until someone came through the front door.

"Hey Diluc. Hey Izuku." Momo let herself in while greeting the two of them.

"Hello Momo." Izuku replied. Diluc simply replied with petting her head. She leaned into it for a second before regaining herself and prying herself from the pleasure.

"I'll be taking your sons to school Mrs. Midoriya!" Momo shouted to Inko who was getting ready for work.

"Take care of yourselves!" She shouted back as she put on some makeup.

The three of them tunneled out of the house and started walking in the direction of their new school.

Their new school went by the name, 'Aldera Junior High'. It was the same school that Katsuki and Izuku went to in the source material and this time, both Diluc and Momo would be attending as well.

When they finally arrived, Diluc was disgusted to see that it was the most generic anime school imaginable. And this is where he'd be spending the next 5 years of his life.

They made their way to the auditorium where the acceptance speech would take place. And thus, began the most torturous hour and a half that Diluc ever had the displeasure of enduring. He was certain that he'd rather fight Pontiff and get slapped around for multiple hours than go through the principal's speech that seemed to put people to sleep.
