Through Wind And Rain

She ran, for her life. Sage would often say she couldn't care less if she died but she wasn't ready, not yet. She ran not just for her life, but for her happiness, for her soul. She ran in to the wind with her dark curls waving in the air, and refused to jump at the sudden sound of thunder of the flash of lightning though she really was scared. She refused to slip on the damp ground and be caught in the rain, and be caught by them.
