8 Trouble In Russia Part I

The days went by and the group started training once more and at some point, took some breaks from training. Sometimes they went to the mall or even the beach together while they were on break. But those breaks were gonna end very soon...

-Moscow, Russia-

The streets were full of cars and people going to their destinations. All of them were having a smile on their faces until they felt the ground shaking. Everyone looked for refuge, but soon after, they saw a cloud of dust coming from the south. Soon after, the cloud disappeared revealing a large horde of Ashborns coming their way.

The people started running away from the large horde, but some of the Ashborns catch some people and killed them along the way. On one of the rooftops, a man with green hair and yellow eyes was seen. He was wearing a half-face mask, a green and dark gray windbreaker jacket with a white zipper in the middle dividing both colors, black gloves, black jeans, and dark green shoes. The man jumped from the rooftop while summoning what it look like a Zweihander. Seconds later, while falling, he thrust one of the Ashborns with the Zweihander, and soon after, after taking out the sword from the Ashborns, he cut in half another Ashborn that was rushing towards him. He then noticed that another Ashborn was rushing from behind so he did a backflip and cut the head of the Ashborn while being in midair. Two more Ashborns went towards him and tried to land a coordinated attack, but the man evaded the attack while cutting the head of one of them. The other one went on again and tried to attack, but the man blocked the attack and then pushed back the Ashborn five meters away. The man rushed towards the Ashborns and cut his head off with one clean cut. Soon after, he saw a whole group of Ashborns was coming his way. He prepared himself with his stance and a large green light was seen on the blade of his weapon. He stood there quietly waiting for the enemy to be closer. Once the Ashborns were close, he swung his sword horizontally releasing a green sword beam that cuts the whole group in half. After this, a man with brown short hair, wearing black sunglasses, a dark blue bomber jacket while underneath it a white shirt, light brown jeans, and black Adidas approached him and soon spoke to him...

?: " I see that you haven't changed, old friend."

??: " Same goes to you, Andrei. So, I guess you're here thanks to the same situation"

Andrei: " Yes, as you can see Russia is being under attack by those creatures and we're taking casualties."

??: "Are there any Hekei users available?"

Andrei: " Well, there are but not that much."

??: " Damn it."

Andrei: " Dimitry, I think it's time to call an old friend."

Dimitry: *sighs* " I guess you're right."

-Meanwhile, on Japan-

Ryuu: " I see that you guys are improving, well done"

Lix: " Thanks, but I still think there's still room for more."

Ryuu: " And there still is. Now, I want y'all to show me what you g..."

Before he could finish the sentence, he felt his phone ringing in his left pocket. He grabbed his phone and answered the call only to hear a familiar voice from the other side of the line...

?: " Hello Ryuu, is me Dimitry, how you been, my friend?"

Ryuu: " I've been good. Now get to the point, what seems to be the problem?"

Dimitry: " Damn, that's harsh. Anyway, the reason that I'm calling you is because the Ashborns have invaded Russia with a whole legion of them."

Ryuu: " And let me guess, you want my help to get rid of them."

Dimitry: " Yeah. The other Heiki users are kinda busy dealing with the sellers too, but they aren't much comparing to the Ashborns. Apart from that, We are taking huge civilian casualties."

Ryuu: *sighs* " Fine, but I'm not going alone."

Dimitry: " What are you saying?"

Ryuu: " You know once I get there."

Dimitry: " If you say so."

Ryuu hanged up the phone call and look at the others and soon spoke to them...

Ryuu: " Pack your thing, we're going to Russia."

Eiji: " Why though?"

Ryuu: " A whole legion of Ashborns has invaded Russian and they need our help."

Yuki: " No way."

Makoto: " I guess we have to help them or else Russia will be no more."

Lix: " And if that happens, that might give the Ashborns a chance for who knows what."

Eiji: " Like for example, world domination."

Jun: " And if we want to stop that from happening..."

Lix: " We need to stop them and fast."

After he finished that sentence, He saw Ryuu summoning his greatsword and swung it horizontally causing a portal to appear. Ryuu looked at the others and soon after he walked through it and so did the others only to find part of the city of Moscow destroyed. Ryuu looked at them and soon, spoke to them...

Ryuu: " I guess Dimitry was right."

Jun: " Who's Dimitry?"

Ryuu: " He was part of the team that I told you about."

Lix: " The one that you were part of 19 years ago?"

Ryuu: " Yeah. Anyway, Jun."

Jun: " Yeah?"

Ryuu: " Go and scout the area and see if you can locate a man with green hair with a black half-face mask on."

Jun: " Got it."

After saying this she disappeared, leaving a cloud of smoke behind...

Ryuu: " The rest is on me."

The group started walking, seeing clouds of smoke everywhere and some corpses on the floor. They also saw many cars destroyed on the streets telling the event that happened before they arrived. Soon after, Ryuu spotted a group of Ashborns coming down towards their way. He told the group to hide and not make any sound. They did as they were told and hide to soon see the group of Ashborns passing right through them. Once they were gone, they got out of their hiding spot and continue walking only to find what looked like a trail of blood. They followed the trail of blood only to end up inside a building. They continue to follow the trail of blood and soon after, they found an injured mother and her daughter. Makoto approached them and soon spoke to them...

Makoto: " Don't worry you two are gonna be fine, just hang on."

The injured woman looked at Makoto and with her last breath, she spoke to her...

Injured woman; " Please... Take care... Of... My... Daughter."

After saying this the woman fainted and soon after, she died. The child went towards her mother's body and started crying while calling her but she didn't respond. Makoto approached the child and hugged her while she was still crying. On the other hand, Ryuu looked through the window and saw a large group of Ashborns approaching their way. Lix saw the same thing and exclaimed to the air while seeing what was happening outside...

Lix: " Oh great, now they come and we're in the middle of something!"

Eiji: " What the hell happened?"

Ryuu: " What do you think?"

Eiji: " Don't tell me..."

Lix: " Yeah."

Eiji: " Shit!"

Lix: " Makoto, stay here with the child while we deal with the Ashborns outside."

Yuki: " I'll stay with them."

Lix: "Ok."

Makoto: " Lix."

Lix: " Yeah?"

Makoto: " Take care."

Lix: " You two,"

After both exchange words, Lix, Eiji, and Ryuu stepped outside and summoned their Heiki and looked at each other while speaking...

Eiji: " Guess we have no other choice."

Lix: " Considering that Jun hasn't returned, then no."

Ryuu: " Let's hope she finds Dimitry before we become dead meat."

Eiji: " Is he the green-haired guy that you mentioned before?"

Ryuu:" The same one."

Lix: " Anyway, let's kill some Ashborn and hope for Jun to come in time."

Eiji: " Bet."
