2 2 : Unknown Power

The creature tried to hit Lix but he evaded the attack and landed a cut on the front right leg of the creature. The creature cried in pain and turned his body towards Lix. The creature tried to land a hit but was blocked by Lix who was sent flying 3 meters thanks to the hard pressure that the hit have. Soon after, Lix stood up while recovering his stance and pointed his sword towards the creature. The creature howl and rushed itself towards Lix and tried to land another hit but Lix evaded the attack by jumping on top of the creature's back and thrust his sword on the back of the creature making this one bleed while crying in pain again. The creature started moved roughly trying the get Lix off his back. Lix noticing what was happening jumped off the back of the creature but was impacted by the tail of the creature making him hit a nearby tree. Lix sighted in anger and stood up and prepared himself for the next attack. Lix ran towards the creature and evade every attack that the creature tried to land on him. Seeing an opportunity, Lix makes another cut but this time on the side of the creature's body. The creature howl but this time in rage and went full berserk on Lix. Lix tried evading the attacks but some of those attacks that the creature threw at him, were blocked by him. The creature distance itself and began moving its wings and soon started levitating and rushed itself towards Lix. Lix seeing no other way slipped beneath the creature and did a clean cut in the creature's abdomen. The creature tried to stand up but every time it did that, its body started hurting more. Lix walked towards the creature with a sword at hand and pointed it to the head of the creature. He looked at it directly to the eyes and spoke to it...

Lix: "Rest in peace, you damn creature!"

Lix thrust the sword on the creature's forehead making this one die instantly. Soon after, the sword that was on Lix's right hand disappeared, and Lix sighed in relief. He looked at his hand and spoke to himself...

Lix: "I guess I could say that helped a lot but what is this strange power that now I have. I guess I will find out sooner or later but right now I gotta look for the others."

Lix exited the park and went to look for his friends. In time, he found them at a nearby fast-food restaurant and sat at the table that the others were and spoke to them...

Lix: "I guess y'all survive."

Eiji: "Look who's talking. I thought we lost you, bud."

Lix: "You know that I can pack a punch."

Eiji: "I know."

Yuki: " So, what happened to that creature?"

Makoto: " Yeah, I want to know what happened to it."

Lix: "if you insist."

Lix told them everything that happened. Form the bright light that later on became a sword, to him thrusting the sword in the creature's head. Everyone's face went into doubts cause of what Lix told them. They were curious and doubtful about what Lix said. Lix looked at them directly while noticing the expressions on their faces and spoke to them...

Lix: "Let me guess, you don't believe me, or am I wrong?"

Yuki: "It's just strange how that sword appeared in your hand."

Makoto: " You said that the sword appeared in your hand just seconds later after the bright light disappeared from your right hand, right?"

Lix: "You got that right."

Eiji: "It must be a blessing from who knows what."

Yuki: "What makes you said that Eiji?"

Eiji: "Think about it. Before everything happened, Lix was like us normal but what a coincidence that after that creature appeared, Lix got the power to summon a sword from thin air Which must be pure luck or the blessing of a god."

Makoto: "That doesn't explain what happened back there. Like, where does that creature comes from? Cause there must be a logic that can explain that."

Lix: " She's right."

Yuki: " But where do we start?"

Eiji: "I think we can start there."

Eiji pointed at the window and saw people running. The others moved their heads and saw the same thing. They exited the fast-food restaurant and saw that a large group of creatures were following the people. LIx summoned his sword and looked at the others and spoke...

Lix: " Go and find a safe place!"

Eiji: "How the..."

Lix: "I told you about it minutes ago. Now go!"

Eiji: " I will not leave you bud."

Lix: " Go, you don't have a weapon."

Eiji; " Bro, just...Look over there."

Lix turned his head and saw a weapon shop. Eiji ran towards it and grabbed a katana, a bo staff, and finally, a naginata. He returned and gave Yuki the naginata and gave the bo staff to Makoto. He looked at both of them and spoke to them...

Eiji: " Considering that you told us that you both practice martial arts, I grabbed these weapons. Hope it can be useful."

Makoto: " Thanks and yes they'll be useful enough to defend us, for the time being, considering we don't have powers like Lix."

Lix: "I didn't ask for them, you know."

Yuki: *giggles* "We know."

Lix: *sighs* "Let just focused on the creatures and please, don't die."

Eiji: "We won't."

The group prepared themselves as a group of humanoid creatures stood in front of them. Some have horns, tails, and have weapons on their hands while others have fangs, claws, and wings. The creatures started running towards the group with a wish to kill those on their way. The first one that the creatures tried to attack was Lix but he counter-attacked every attack that the creatures threw at him. The second was Eiji. He was blocking every attack that the creatures threw at him but he saw an opportunity to strike and he landed a clean cut at five of the creatures making those fives disappeared in thin air. The third one was Makoto who was counter-attacking the attacks that the creatures were trying to land on her. Makoto at some point landed few attacks with the bo staff to the point that those attacks broke part of the body of the creatures making them disappeared in thin air. On the other hand, Yuki, who was the fourth one to be attacked, was landing every attack she made with her naginata. At one point, she jumped and did a spin in mid-air and pointed the blade of the naginata to the head of a creature thrusting the naginata on the head and killing the creature in an instant. the fought fiercely when a bearded man wearing a black coat, underneath it a white shirt, black jeans, and shoes appeared in front of them, summoned an Odachi from thin air and with just one swing of it, killed the entire group of creatures in front of him. He looked at the others and spoke to them...
