1 Prologue

A girl walking down to the garden full of crimson red roses while admiring the flowers around her. Her lips twitched into a joyful smile when she finally found the rarest flower. The smiling girl looked around and didn't notice the boy sleeping beside the bush behind her and now he's awake while staring directly at her as if it is the first time he saw a girl with jet black hair and electric blue eyes on his entire life.

"Aunt Victoria let me have one of these," she whispered right before gently picking the flower. The boy stood up quietly while still staring at her until he decided to startled her.

"What are you doing here?! Weaklings like you are not allowed here!" the loud voice of the boy behind her makes her startled and making her accidentally picked her finger into rose's thorn.

He looked down to the girl that might cry at any second while staring at her bloody finger.

'She's weaker than I thought. Look at her, she's crying over a simple scratch.'

The boy is about to walk away but he heard the girl sobbing he clamped his eyes shut and ignore the girl. His conscience invaded his mind. Instead of walking away, returned to the crying girl's place. He's just a visitor here and he didn't want to get involved in trouble with someone here on Winchester Palace. Thankfully, no one noticed them since it's a busy day for the maids or servants and other workers in the palace. Yet, he's annoyed by the little girl's crying. He wants to yell at her more or cover her mouth just to shut up but for him, that's not a gentleman's way to stop a girl from crying.

"Why you're such a crybaby? It's---" he got suddenly cut off when their gaze met.

"I-I'm not a-a crybaby!" the 9-years old girl protested. He used his handkerchief to wipe the girl's blood before covering the wound with a band-aid that he didn't expect that he can use.

"Here no more. What's your name?" he asked the crying girl in front of him. She wiped her tears but it didn't stop her eyes to produce more tears.

'She looks like my cousin's porcelain doll.' he said to himself. Well, he can't deny the girl's beauty making him won't stop staring at her. He's starstruck but little did he know, the girl in front of him is more than a star.

"Justin Eroll," she answers and got followed by a hiccup caused by too much crying. Justine extended her hand for a handshake the boy stared at her hand for a second while doubting until he decided to accept it.

"I'm Felix Valdez." he avoided her uncomfortable stare and turn his gaze on the rose bush's thorn with some of Justine's blood droplets on it. Felix immediately wipes the blood out of the thorn.

"Justine help me!" their attention shifted to the younger boy running down the aisle and got chased by his two older brothers. Ellreign rushed into her younger and completely ignored Felix's presence.

"What happened Daniel?" she asked her sweating brother. Daniel almost hyperventilates by his long run.

"Alexis and him fought and implicating the twins on their fight." her oldest brother, Orion, said. Orion's attention darted to Felix while Justine is glaring at Daniel but the younger one just shrugged. The second oldest of them, Dwayne, pulled Daniel thru his ears making the younger one utter a yelp.

"I didn't mean it!" Daniel protested while covering both of his ears to prevent his older brother to pull it again.

"You didn't mean to implicate the twins?" Felix didn't mean to eavesdrop on Justine, Dwayne, and Daniel's conversation while he's talking with Orion but now he's confused since the sibling's twins are Alexis and Daniel.

"Mama said you will temporarily stay here," Orion said while looking at his younger siblings' direction too. Felix looks at him before looking back at the siblings. Their smiles make him missed and worried about his younger brother.

"It's not a problem for me," he answers. Orion clung his arm on Felix's shoulder, making the gray-eyed kid looked at him in full confusion.

"I know you miss your twin and worried for his safety but your parents are with him. Samuel might be not vocal by his feelings but I know he can survive." the 15 years old blonde said to comfort his younger friend. Felix let a lopsided smile crept into his lips.

Servants greeted them as they entered the palace. They went straight into the twins' room since it's their free time they decided to find Alexis and the twins that Dwayne saying.

Once they entered the room, nothing greets them but deafening silence and a well-organized monochrome room-themed room with two white beds without any sign that someone has laid down on it. Orion motioned them to watch their steps, be careful and keep quiet as they're walking inside the huge room.

"Are you serious about this?" Felix asked with an irritated tone. The door banged and got followed by the giggles, making all of them startled. Orion turned at him with a 'why'd-you-make-any-sound?' look. Felix almost rooted on the floor when a cold handhold him on his arm.

"Boo."

"AHHHHH!" four of them screamed in terror when an emotionless long-haired boy wearing a white plain dress with blood splatters on it, there were also deep wounds on both of his arms and holding a knife appeared in front of them. It also sends them shivers when they witnessed how the wounds close by themselves.

"Does the four of you are here to play with us?" the emotionless one asked. Four of them remained silent while taking steps backward.

"You don't want?" now, another emotionless boy sharing the same face with the other one asked. The only thing that they're wishing right now is someone help them to stop the two bleeding kids. Orion's posture didn't change, instead, he makes himself as the shield for the three behind them.

"Haru and Hiro stop this now!" a sinister smile crept into the emotionless boy's face before holding his brother's hands. The boy throws the knife away, making it pierced into the door frame. His twin's sinister smile vanished and got replaced by a warm and welcoming smile.

"Why are you here Orion-san? Who are they?" the boy asked while wiping his brother's blood using his handkerchief and handed him his eyeglasses.

"Hiro and Haru I want to introduce to both of you our other siblings and our friend." Orion first pointed at Dwayne.

"This is Dwayne, Justine, and lastly, our friend, Felix. Guys, this is the twins, Haru and Hiro." the twins looked at each other before looking at Ellreign.

"There's any problem?" Orion asked the twins. The twins' exchange looks again as if they're having telepathy.

"Her." Hiro pointed at Justine.

"Protect her. Haru can't explain and I don't know either but her life is in danger. Zavia wanted her dead."
