8 Chapter 7

"Hey wake up." Hiro kicked his sleeping brother into its waist, sending him on the floor but then, as usual, no response, and his younger brother remained sleeping like a dead man. The room is dark despite the sun finally shine outside. Hiro didn't turn on the lights too, instead, he opened the door so the lights can enter the cave-like place.

"Haru." He called his name and pulled his blanket away. His twin looked at him with bloodshot eyes before he went back to his slumber.

"We're going to school," Hiro said while shaking his shoulder. The younger one remained sleeping on the cold floor, making Hiro done on dealing with his brother. He remained standing on his brother's bed while staring at Haru. Minutes after, Haru seated while popping his bones but he hissed as the lights hit his eyes.

"Close the f*cking door." He grunted while his left hand is pointing at the door while the other one is covering his eyes.

"Why you're here anyway?" Hiro jump off from his bed and was about to close the door but Samuel swiftly sneaked in. He's the one who finally closed the door.

"Wake you up. It's unusual for you to talk longer in mornings like this." Hiro replied.

"What?" The boy wearing black silk pajamas asked him after he finally stood up. Samuel dive on his bed while Hiro is seated beside him. Samuel remained on his face buried on Haru's blanked until he looked at him. They both only see his silhouette as the light outside hits the black curtains.

"I where did both of you go last week?" Samuel asked before he rolled and hit his head on Haru's pillow.

"Dean's office," Hiro replied. The twins exchanged looks before Haru turned on the dim lights and leaned against the wall while giving Samuel a questionable yet intimidating look.

"How can I say this without both you will be pissed?" Samuel asked the twins. Minutes of thinking, he seat up and looks at them in full of desperation.

"My brother did something again." He said. Hiro furrowed his brows at him while Haru waved his hand before he went inside his bathroom. Samuel gave Hiro a questionable look after both of them got surrounded by the awkward silence and the only noise can be heard inside the room is the gushing sound of water produced by the shower.

"Don't worry, that lunatic can still hear you. He can even hear a small sound even this." Hiro picked his younger brother's high-cut shoes and toss them into the other side of the room, creating a small thud against the carpeted floor.

"F*ck you Hiro," Haru said, loud enough for both of the boys outside to hear. His older brother laughed while Samuel left amused. However, he went back on being serious and looked at the laughing boy on his side.

"My brother hurt one of our classmates." Hiro stops laughing and raised a brow. Even he didn't open his mouth, Samuel knows what that means.

"I know he always hurt someone who went on his way but this time, it's worst. It worst than he did in the past. He's making things worst and difficult." The boy added.

"He's always like that, you probably don't notice since you're a goodie who focused on his study even he graduated years ago." Samuel's expression turned sour before he heaves a problematic sigh.

"The organization is hunting us down and if they found out where we are, all the plans will jeopardize. We need to be extra careful, you know?" Hiro chuckled as he combed his hair backward. Today, Samuel noticed something on him. Something changed and looks like he founds out what is it. It is Hiro's hair. It's no longer white.

"You dyed your hair?" Samuel asked him in full curiosity while examining his hair. Hiro once again, frowned at him as if he's a stranger who asked for direction and keeps on insisting that something he's looking for is different from what you saying.

"Dumb. That's my natural hair color." Samuel stared at his lengthy raven hair before he slumped on his friend's bed again. He didn't mind if the uniform he's already wearing got wrinkled or his boots scattered on the floor.

"I always dyed my hair white whenever I saw some raven streaks on it." The raven-haired boy explained. Samuel nods but seconds later he opens his mouth to ask him again.

"What about your twin? Don't tell me his hair color comes from unnatural pigments." He snorted while Hiro nudges his shoulder. The walk-in closet door creaked open and reveals the boy with a towel on his head while busy buttoning his clothes. Haru didn't even take a glance at them, instead, he just walks around to search for his boots and completely ignored them as if they're just air.

"Sh*t have natural white hair while mines are raven. He looks like a ghost than a human." Hiro laughed while his twin is keeping himself busy wearing his boots.

"But seriously, Haru, are you an albino?" Samuel's question makes him paused from his doing. He thought that Haru is going to answer him but he's wrong, instead, he rubbed the towel on his hair to dry before he wears his coat.

"He is. But knowing that sh*t he didn't want to speak about that. Aside from that, you haven't noticed why he rarely goes outside? Why he's wearing anti-radiation glasses? Why he only walks around at night?" The older one scratched the back of his head before he stood up and wear his boots. Hiro stood up and did the same.

"I thought he just really hates lights." He mumbled through his breath.

"I did," Haru said before he grabbed his bag and eyeglasses and then walk outside first. His brother is the one who closed the room while Samuel, as usual, tried to talk to him again. Hoping that he might receive any response to his questions but Haru is being himself again.

"You're so mean to me." Haru just looked at him before he leaned at the window and ignored him again, making him feel annoyed. After of years the four of them living together, he tried to get close to the boy but every time he tried to approach him, Haru ignored him as if he didn't exist.

Wearing their shining morning faces, the three boys entered the classroom filled with random noises. The twins went to their seats while Samuel just put his bag on the side of his desk before he pulled Trance's chair and a seat on it. Hary, quick as lightning, immediately faces them. Khiel notices them too so he tapped Bryle's back, making him turn around.

"I have a question for all of you guys." The blonde boy said. They all look at him with confusion written on their faces.

"What is it?" Bryle asked him.

"If a girl walks towards you and asks you for a date what will you do?" Hary asked them with a big smile creeping on his face.

"I will accept her invite of course." Samuel nonchalantly said as he leaned into Trance's chair.

"Me too," Khiel replied.

"Me three." Bryle retorted.

"Me four." The one who asked the question and answer it too, Hary, laughed altogether with the three. The twins on the side remained quiet while watching them as they laughed together, making the three of them stop and look away but Hary is the one who remained confident despite Hiro's judging eyes and Haru's blank stare.

"Ha! I'm not intimidated anymore." Hiro frowned at him before he snorted while Haru leaned and crossed his arms then his chin on the desk.

"I'm not scaring you." The younger one said, making Khiel and Bryle snicker. Samuel covered his mouth and looked away too. Haru is just staring at the clock hanging on the wall, examining every number on it.

"Do I look like a clown for all of you to laugh?" Hary asked them in full annoyance. Trance is not around that's why their classroom is not in the right order. Same as Felix, he's not around too, making his brother and Hiro confused since he didn't say where he went. They haven't seen even his shadow too.

"You're a clown." Hary glared at Khiel but the taller one raised his hands in the air as a sign of defeat.

"Don't look at me like that. I'm just being honest." Khiel added before he shrugged. Hary glared at him once again before he faces the rest.

"I have a story to tell, guys. Do you wanna know how Trance and I become friends?" His words called Haru's attention, making him avert his attention at the small blonde boy.

"Don't worry, Khiel and Bryle will tell their stories too," Hary added. The two nodded, making the blonde smile. After gathering all of their attention, he cleared his throat before he leaned on his chair and placed his arm on its backrest.

"It was all started that day."

"I don't want to go!" The fifteen-year-old boy whined as the guards with tasers and batons dragged him towards the only special classroom on the top floor of the school building.

"Kid, if you don't stop we will electroshock you." The guard warned him, making the boy gulp and walk properly in force.

"What is this?" Hary asked them. The guards looked at him as they slide the key card on the door's special's lock.

"A door." One of the guards retorted, making the rest snicker. Hary glared at him and the guard shook his head before he twists the hallway's grand doors knob. To his surprise, the door remained closed as if something was preventing them to went inside.

"Alright, we will orientate you for a while since the rest inside is so hopeless." The guard beside Hary said.

"This is the area where section 10 is designated. Since you commit a crime, instead of sending you to jail, the university's dean and other officials, including the owner itself, agreed to make a section only for those who made a crime, like you. Since almost all of you are underage to send all of you there and it's going to be a difficult situation. Aside from that some of the parents didn't agree to send all of you to Manchester, and the university's owner ordered the officials to establish this section. In exchange, the students like you will do your parts after you graduated." The guard beside him explained before he stared at his subordinate to open the door whose blocked from the inside.

"What part you're saying?" Hary asked him with curiosity written all over his mind. The guard tapped his shoulder, making him confused.

"That's not that heavy. After Priam Videlle cleans your records, you will be going to work under your highness." Hary frowned but soon as he realizes everything is clear to him, he nods while saying 'Oh' silently.

"Your highness? I mean, the royal family accepts the delinquents?" The guard grinned before he nods his head.

"It's an honor to be part of that but I'm also ashamed that the royal family will have a worker like me. But I'm also mad because they're not listening to me. I didn't commit that crime." Hary said in a melancholic tone.

"What happened?" The mid-50s man asked, calling Hary's attention to the rest of the guards.

"The doors. They probably blocking it from inside." The one who's pushing the door many times replied.

"You heard that Trance? They're probably having fun inside." The middle-aged man said with a smile as he looks at someone behind him.

"Yeah. Those hyenas probably having fun, Mr. Miyazaki." The guard beside Hary sarcastically said.

"Don't be scared. I know it's hard for you but looks at that boy, did he hide?" Hary keeps on staring at the old man wearing maroon-colored Japanese traditional clothing. He noticed that his clothes got clutched by someone behind him.

"Is your grandson shy?" Hary asked. The old man chuckled as he shoves the kid toward his side and clings his arm around the kid's neck. Confusion invaded his mind after he saw the kid. He can't identify if the kid is a boy or a girl since he's wearing a plain and loose white shirt with jeans then a pair of sneakers and a plain varsity jacket but the kid looks more like a boy because of his haircut and the baseball cap the kid's wearing. He also has whereabouts that the kid beside him is around his age or the same age as him. Hary is about to speak again but the guards pulled him to the side together with the middle-aged Japanese man and the other kid.

The door burst open, creating a deafening loud bang and making Hary flinch. It reveals the two brawling boys who got followed by cheering noises. Their uniforms almost got torn and their faces are almost got drenched in blood. They're fighting like animals, they won't stop until one of them will be killed.

"Fight! Fight! Fight!" Their classmates cheer. The guards immediately blow their whistles, making the group of boys leave their two brawling classmates behind, and run inside the classroom. Two of the seven guards pulled the brawling boys apart and knocks them off using their tasers.

"Put them on the infirmary first." The head guard said before he guides the new students and the man as they walk inside.

"Sorry for that, they're usually chaotic but they're more chaotic if their professors are not around. This is also expected but it's too early for a fight in this first week of the new semester." He added before he scratched the back of his head because of embarrassment. The man laughed while the two new students remained silent while wondering how they remained calm despite the chaos earlier.

"Hey, are you a girl or a boy?" Hary asked the kid beside him. The kid flinched and hide behind its grandfather again.

"Don't worry, Trance-chan is a girl." Mr. Miyazaki replied with a grin.

"Although, this one is thought of as a boy. Right Trance-chan?" Hary saw how she clutched her grandfather's clothes while keeping her silent as if Hary is a bad guy which is too far from being one.

All of them stop in front of the door. The head guard opened the door, revealing the chaotic classroom. Their eyes witnessed how some of them stab each other and some of them are just playing while the others are minding their businesses.

Mr. Miyazaki looked at his granddaughter behind him and placed both of his hands on his shoulder before asking: "You don't want to go inside?"

Hary watched them instead of going inside and finding a seat for him. He didn't want to go inside too. He's probably scared after he witnessed those dangerous and scary acts of his new classmates. Hary can't help but hug himself after he imagined that he might be got stabbed too and die within the day. He started to pray mentally that nothing happens and he will go home safe in sound and also, alive.

"Trance-chan." Hary flinched and looked in their direction again.

"You don't want to get inside?" Mr. Miyazaki asked his granddaughter calmly again and his granddaughter just shook her head while her eyes are just set on the floor. For Hary, the middle-aged man is cool and kind. He remained serene as the forest despite his granddaughter's actions. Well, he can't blame her after all but he knew that his granddaughter is safe even though her classmates act far from being students.

"Mister? Don't worry about your granddaughter, I'll watch over her." Hary said, the girl remained to look at the well-polished floors and the crumpled paper that hit her shoes. Mr. Miyazaki looked at him before he reaches him and ruffled his hair.

"What a kind boy. May I know your name?"

"I'm Hary Morgan."

"So Hary-san." To his surprise, Mr. Miyazaki bowed at him. Hary is about to speak up but he chooses to close his mouth.

"I'm thankful for your gratitude. Please watch over her. Don't be mad if she's stubborn and hard-headed."

"Please don't yell at her too if you're mad at her." Hary let an awkward laugh while scratching his head. He embarrassed the middle-aged man because he's bowing at him for a reason but Hary? He's not worth bowing at.

"I won't do that. I'll never do such a thing to girls. Please don't bow." Mr. Miyazaki stood up straight, making Hary feel small. He's not that too small, he's 5'8 but in front of the middle-aged Japanese man, he feels so small.

"I'm counting on you, Hary-san. Don't worry, Trance-chan can talk. She's just shy but she's not mute after all " Hary nods before Mr. Miyazaki faced his granddaughter and placed his hand on her head. Hary gripped his backpack's strap as he took steps towards the door.

"You don't need to be scared. There's someone who will look for you. Is that okay for you, Trance-chan?"

"But grandpa, I don't want to go inside. I want to go with you." Her cold voice yet with a pleasing tone called his all attention.

"I want to bring you with me but your grandma will scold us. Don't worry, this coming weekend, I will bring you to that place. Is that fine with you?" Trance nods, making her grandfather smile.

"I'm going now. Hary-san is waiting for you too." The girl is about to speak but Mr. Miyazaki pinched her cheeks before he waved goodbye to both of them.

"Get in now." The guard said. Hary grabbed Trance's surprisingly skinny arm and dragged her inside before the guards get pissed.

Inside the giant classroom, the students' eyes landed on both of them. Hary gulped while Trance hides behind him. All of them stood up and surrounded both of them. All the six of them.

"New misfit, I see." The tall and pale boy said. There's a malicious smile creeping on his face.

"Tell us your name and also the name of the boy behind you." Hary flinched and glared at the tall boy while the girl behind him remained silent. The rest of the boys snickered before the tall boy got shoved to the side by the new boy.

"Pardon this idiot's actions." The new boy said. His accent and face tell about his nationality.

"I'm Kyle Riven. They called me River, may I know your names and the reasons why both of you ended here?" His gentle voice eased the tension building up on Hary's chest. Kyle's gaze landed on Trance who was looking at him blankly. Her baseball cap didn't hide the cold as ice electric blue orbs.

"I'm Hary Axle Morgan. I ended up here because of the false blame but they don't have any evidence to prove my innocence." Hary explained. Kyle looked at him full of worry.

"Hary, we don't use our real names here. We're using our alias here but we still call each other by our real names. For example, they called me River and that is derived from my surname. Makes sense, right?"

"Then call me Axle."

"What's her problem?" The boy with a piercing on his left ear whispered to Kyle. Kyle just shrugged and started to feel uncomfortable when he feels her icy stare.

"Hey, brat, what's your problem?" The tall one asked her. He's about to come closer to Trance but Hary shielded himself.

"You're protecting your boyfriend huh?" His mocking question, makes Hary blush and look away but that does not mean that Hary would let him come closer.

"He's not my boyfriend." Hary retorted. Kyle smacked the tall one's shoulder before saying: "Johann, don't be so hostile to them." Johann's expression softened as he looked at Kyle.

"Whatever," Johann said before he looked at Hary and Trance again. He smirked before he ruffled Hary's blonde locks.

"I'm Johann Flynn, they call me giant. Nice to meet you, Axle." He removed his hand on Hary's head before he slipped it inside his pocket.

"What about you?" Johann asked the girl with an icy stare behind Hary. She remained her mouth shut while keeps on staring at him.

"Hey." He called her again. Trance heave a sigh before she removed her baseball cap, revealing her porcelain doll-like face. The rest of the boys, aside from Hary, left their jaws hanging as they stare at her face. She ruffled her hair on a boy cut and looked at Johann. They can't help but stare at the personified porcelain doll on their front.

"Why do you want to know my name?" She asked him using her native home language. They are almost left confused because of that. They all look at her as if she's a hard math problem in every exam.

"Excuse us?" The two Japanese boys stepped forward. The one has a smirk on his face and looks like a rebel while the other one is like a normal student. Trance looked at both of them and remained on stoic expression. The two boys almost got awestruck when her glassy yet cold as ice eyes landed on them.

"Why do you want to know my name?" She asked solemnly again using her mother tongue.

"Isn't it obvious? We want to know you. You seem like someone I know too." The one who looks like a rebel said using the native language that Trance used.

"You looked like my gay cousin." He added and laughed but Trance remained the same. She heaves a deep sigh before she makes her baseball cap around her index finger.

"Sorry but I'm not a mirror. You look more like a gay. Why don't you work at a gay bar instead?" Trance clapped back, making the other one tap his brother's shoulder. The rebel one glared at her and shove away his brother's hand. Their classmates remained silent throughout the hostile tension between Trance and the two boys but they are aware of what was going on. Hary stared at the girl behind him in awe and somehow amused. He's also aware of what's going on.

"You!" The rebel one said with a pissed tone.

Hary shielded himself once again while Johann whistled. The rest looked at her in amusement.

"What? You're mad? I thought honesty is the best policy." The edge of her lips tugged upwards, creating a small smirk as she looked at the fuming mad rebel on her front.

"My name is Trance Miyazaki."

"So she makes Yen mad?" Khiel asked Hary, the blonde boy nodded his head proudly.

"Knowing Yen, he's the most rebellious and most dangerous student back then. He's pissed at Trance but he can't do anything to her." Hary said.

"Wait! Miyazaki, you said?" The other one said as he held his brother's arm. Their classmates still don't understand them because they're still communicating in their native language but to their surprise, the brothers bowed at her on their knees. Trance remained stoic as she stared at the two.

"Woah," Johann said in amusement while the rest left speechless. Hary gave Trance a questionable look but she just shrugged.

"What about that?" Trance asked the one back. He looked at her and stand up straight.

"I was sorry about this one." He said as he points to his brother who looked away with anger on his face.

"I'm Shin Hamada and this is Yen Hamada." Trance took a glance at them before she tapped Hary's shoulder.

"Can you find a vacant seat for us, please?" Trance whispered at him. Hary flinched as he feels her near him.

"O-Okay." Hary nodded before he grabbed her arm again before they walk past the six boys and search for their seats.
