2 Chapter 1

"You----" the woman is about to stab the girl into her heart but it got interrupted when the lights go off. The woman didn't mind the lights, instead, she deepens the cut to the point it hits her victim's rib cage. The girl can't scream nor defend herself, instead, she endures the pain that the mid-40's woman caused since her hands were tied behind her back and her feet were bounded too. The girl closes her eyes while enduring the pain on her chest because of the cold and sharp blade but thankfully, it doesn't pierce into the part where her heart is. She can't see the woman because the pitch and void-like darkness invaded the whole room.

Her breathing started to be fast as the blood flowed outside from her wound. Suddenly, the woman who stabbed her got hit by someone and the girl who almost dies by the woman's stab got dragged by a boy.

" 'Yo man! The dean wants our presence in his office." said the gangster-looking guy named Ash Freud. His coat wrapped it around his shoulder, his long-sleeve polo has three undone buttons and instead of slacks, he wore ripped jeans.

"Do you mean, our whole class?" the boy holding a PSP asked, his name is Liam Simone. The infamous gamer and also a top student and in their whole campus but there's a problem, he cheated on one of his exams. He cheated into their physics exam during his junior year.

The whole classroom got filled with their whispers, half of the class are asking why the dean wants their presence in his lovely office and another half are whining because they just wanted a rest or they just wanted to play mobile games on their phone more. But all of them turned silent as their sleeping president is now awake and stood up from her supreme seat on the last row of their seats.

"Let's go now," she said in full of supremacy. The whole class went out when she exited the room. While walking down to the hallway, all of the students' attention is with them. Well, no one doesn't want to miss seeing the whole infamous class and also their beautiful and cool president. But half of the students were also afraid of their presence since every time they went out to their classroom, there was chaos.

All of the students located in the middle of the hallways are almost killed each other when they saw the handsome and almost perfect boys of the infamous class and that's is the reason why the girls and even guys like them drool over them although they're the same gender. Their class is full of troublesome students who got kicked by their previous classes because of the heavy offenses that they've made and also, their president is the only girl in class but no one can go against her. Students along the hallway filled the whole place with their screams and half of them also wanted to get closed by her classmates as if they don't have any classes. The president is annoyed, not because the students want to have closure between them, she's annoyed by their noise. She hates nuisance the most.

The class's peaceful walk is no more peaceful when a group of gangsters intercepts their way to their dean's office. All of the students who almost killed each other for the infamous class's attention were no longer in the hallways. They immediately entered their classrooms because they sense danger between the two warring groups. Their president remained calm while wearing her stoic face while the gang leader grinned devilishly at her and stared directly into her eyes. She didn't let herself lose the staring contest that they have so she stared back at him. Both sides are tense because of the suffocating atmosphere between them that their leaders caused.

"Can I know what's the reason you clogged the hallway like a huge lump of hairball in bathroom pipes?" she asked him in a monotone voice. The gang leader; Ice Gruger, loose his own cool and glared at the president. But the president, Ellreign herself, remained calm even deep inside she's annoyed because of her interrupted sleep when she gets annoyed more she'll punch someone directly into their face.

"Watch your tone Trance. I'm the campus king here better know your limits before you insult me." Ice said while examining the girl he's courting's face but the Ellreign herself just smirked at him before patting her suitor's shoulder. Ice even inhaled her addicting smell of french vanilla. That gesture is enough for all of them to indicate that Ice might lose more of his cool. That is also simple enough to make his heart flutter and almost make him fall to his knees if he didn't gather himself immediately. He secretly put a small note on her skirt's pocket before Ellreign passed him.

"Watching my tone is not my style but if you think that as an insult, you're not wrong. If you're mad, hang yourself then." she mockingly said before passing him altogether by her classmates. After confirming that the girl he's courting is away, his gang members also his friends cheered him up. They hugged him all while jumping like crazy, catching the other students passing by's attention. Ice and his friends immediately act like there's nothing and completely ignored the embarrassment that filled the atmosphere between all of them.

"We thought you're going to die at that moment, Ice!" one of his best friends; Uriel scoffed and got followed by his other friends' laugh. His mood turns sour and pushed them away from him. Friends always are friends.

"Have you ever seen her smirk?" his friends turned at him in whole confusion. Uriel smacks his head before saying; "We haven't seen anything."

"We didn't know that when someone you like taps you at your shoulder you'll start hallucinating," Minsung said. He's is the oldest of the gang and also in charge to take care of troublesome kids like Ice, Uriel, Raven, and Akki.

"It's because all of you are busy sending death glares to her friends!" Ice whines.

"Alright. Stop revealing your fishwife attitude here." Akki covers his mouth and dragged him to their next class. Ice is throwing punches at him but the 6 footer guy manages to dodge it. The whole class went silent as they entered the classroom and interrupted the professor's lesson as they open the door recklessly that creating a loud bang.

Their gang is one of the professor's enemies because they're always pulling pranks on other students as their form of bullying such as; putting a whole glue on their seats, throwing balloons to them that contain sticky slime, and other pranks you can't even imagine. They can't just expel the students because of their backers. Ice and his friends also didn't care at all if they showed disrespectful things because the students treated and respected them as the campus kings. The gang seated on the last row before the professor cleared her throat and continued her interrupted lesson. Ice didn't bother to listen to her 'boring' lesson, instead, he looked at the window's view since he can't focus because the scenario earlier keeps on repeating on his mind, making him feel like he's on cloud nine and also making him smile like crazy.

Meanwhile,

Ellreign is getting more annoyed because of the sun's almost burning heat even they're walking under the shades of trees whose cover the ways against the sun's heat and also to the distance between the dean's office and into their building. She's also looking at the nacarat color of leaves that started to fall into the ground every time the wind blows.

All she wanted to do is to sleep just to recharge her tired body. She's also blaming her grandfather's annoying snore that you can compare to the luxury cruise's sound before it sails into the ocean.

"Does all of you are done with your homework?" she monotonously asked them. Almost all of his classmates nod. But the remaining three are not. Their names are: Kiel Dimitri, Bryle Yang, and Hary Morgan, the trio is also called 'The three idiots'. The three are always the cause of her headaches and half of her problem. When the three did cause some ruckus or a problem, she's always ended up settling it before smacking the three on their heads using a folded newspaper that Ellreign exclusively made for them. Furthermore, even she wanted to reprobate them, those three always ended up being a brotherly figure to her even the three are like a cat to her.

'Lazy.' Ellreign thought before pulling her phone out of her pocket. She sends the picture of their homework that their professor gave to them last week without mentioning the whole homework is already done.

"What's that?" one of the three idiots; Hary, said while pointing the small and folded note that Ellreign accidentally dropped on the floor when she pulled out her phone. After noticing the note, she picked it up and undo the fold.

'Can we go out after your class? My treat.

Ellreign folded it back before sliding it inside of her pocket. The three gave her a questioning look but she didn't give any hint to them what is the folded note contained and continued walking. Her classmates exchange looks before following her.

"That note. I've seen Ice slide it inside her pocket earlier." the young but 5'10 tall Japanese boy; Shin, said. All of his classmates stopped walking and looked at him.

"Sneaky fox." his older brother; Yen, commented. The younger one agreed with his brother and also their classmates.

"Ellreign seems like she does not have to show any attraction towards him. She's still emotionless even the other one is close to death when they're having interactions." Prince said while his gaze is following the walking figurine of the president. His best friend; Kyle, smacked him on his head hard, making him glare at the brunette one and smacked his head back after saying; "What's your problem now? I'm just telling the truth!"

"Of course, she'll going to remain emotionless, what do you think she supposed to do? Faint? Or sing 'Super Bass'? Act like a drama queen she never has been? Oh, come on Prince Livenburg use your mind." Kyle sarcastically asked him before speaking up again. He looks like a nagging Italian mother because of his Italian accent.

"I don't have any problem with your words, stupid. I smacked you because there's an insect on your head." the other one shrugged. Prince glared at him once again before taking a step again. When his best friend's back facing him, Kyle bit his hand to stop himself from venting out a laugh. Their other classmates shook their heads full of disappointment and pity, Kyle is a hopeless kid somehow. Well, who's in the right mind will go to smack someone's head intentionally without doing anything wrong? Of course, it's Kyle Riven, he's not on the right mind either.

"Stop laughing, Kyle." Johann scolded him as he clung his arm around the 5'8 guy named Kyle. The smaller one's face turned sour before slapping the pale as paper with curly hair guy named Johann Flynn. But the taller guy just chuckled before nudging him. For a small guy like Kyle, he's insulted by that. Why? Because it makes him feel like he's slapped by reality. The realization that he's just almost half of the giant's height beside him.

"You're so small." Johann scoffed making Kyle fuming mad and swing his left foot to kick the taller guy. Their classmates didn't even bother to stop the both of them from throwing a punch at each other, it's a natural scenario for them. They didn't even bother to stop them because they know that every punch even it's painful, they're all delivered playfully.

"Can the both of you stop that? You're making the walk longer." the silent guy who treasures his saliva the most named Louis Arden said before walking away from them. His classmates were left flabbergasted by his words. He never speaks and even interacts with them unless it's Ellreign who's talking to him. Louis is not mute nor deaf but he's the most silent guy in the class.

"Slap me if I'm not dreaming," Ash commanded. His classmates never let the opportunity go away, so they immediately slap the gangster across his face flawed yet handsome.

"O----" he is about to speak up again when Liam cuts him off by slapping him again on his left cheek while still holding his gadget. Ash is about to punch the boy but Hary slapped him and got followed by his two friends.

"Poor gangster," Kyle commented before patting his shoulder. They all stopped walking when their president stopped too. They're now in front of their dean's office.

"Are you sure that the dean wanted to see us?" Ellreign asked Ash. The gangster nod at his answer. Their president went inside altogether with them.

As they entered, a scent of newly printed paper and the school's busy faculty teachers who didn't mind their presence greeted them. All of them went directly into their dean's office.

Ellreign knocked three times at the door before getting inside together with her classmates. Their dean motioned them to take a seat on the long and classic leather sofa.

"I just wanted to remind you that you're having new classmates. They're also good students from Priam Videlle in Manchester. They're 4 in total." the dean said with a smile on his face. The president herself sensed something with that smile. Their dean is always smiling at his visitors but this one is odd.

"If they're good students why you enlisted them in section 10 then? Mr.Diggins we both know that everyone in section 10 is not a diligent or good student. Do the new students make a heaviest than heavy offense? " she asked before putting her hands on her lap. The mid 60's man let out a wholehearted chuckle before pressing his back on his swivel chair's backrest. He's amused by the president's cunning words and unexplainable mindset. The dean, Mr.Diggins, wanted to put the new students in section 10 just to get tamed by the president herself. He's also wondering how she can discipline them, even their professors are left confused and shocked when they find out what the worst class is now improving. Since their adviser is gone for a month for his temporary leave and also half of their teachers were gone for a seminar, Ellreign is in charge to take care of her classmates as the president and that is also the reason why the dean asked her too although he already told to their adviser about the new kids.

"You're right. They have made a heavy offense. Now their guardian sent them here in the Philippines." the dean paused when he remembered the new kids. It's a shame for him if he's going to fear them but no, it's not a shame since he's not the only one.

"That's why I'm ordering you to take care of them like how you take care of them." he pointed to the rest of section 10. Yen and Khiel looked at her with a face full of worry. They both know that the new students are more than troublemakers like them maybe they're hellspawn or reincarnations of great devils.

After a couple of minutes of full silence, Ellreign decided to speak up again after thinking if she was going to accept them. Well, even she gives the dean her refusal, the new students are still going to enlist in their class.

'He is going to give me more headaches.' she said to herself while her gaze is darted to the principal in front of her. Ellreign successfully stopped herself from the urge of showing a violent reaction.

"I'm accepting them." she confidently said, making her classmates turn at her in full of shock and worry. The president gives them a reassuring look before looking back at the dean. Mr. Diggins feels better the thorn on his throat got removed when Ellreign finally accepted it.

"So, when will they start going to class?" Mr. Diggins put his clamped hands into the table before looking at Ellreign.

"I'm sure it's tomorrow," he answered with a small smile on his lips.

"Can we go now?" she asked him before covering her mouth as she let out a yawn.

"Also, the reason why I asked all of your presence here is that I want to give all of you this." the dean slammed in the coffee table the loaded long brown envelope. Whole section 10 looked at each other before their gaze darted into the envelope.

"That's all of your awards and medals from the last year's recognition since all of you didn't attend. All of the medals have names so all of you won't be confused." their dean said. Ellreign picked the folder and handed it to Yen before bowing at Mr.Diggins and leaving the room.

After that, all of them went back to their classroom and since they don't have a teacher, all of them waited until their dismissal. Ellreign didn't bother to go back to sleep, instead, she put her earphones on and listen to calm acoustic music while looking at the view of Priam Videlle's left wing. That makes her calmer and wipes half of her tiredness away, then there are her classmates. Playing wrestling on the floor and pulling the whole classroom into a whole mess. Their classroom is messy since the boys always throwing papers at each other and didn't even mind putting their trash in the trashbin. The daily scenario of not being a well-organized student of theirs makes the whole classroom almost a garbage dump.

Now, Hary is on top of Shin while locking his leg up, making the Japanese boy whimper and punch Hary on his lower back. Their referee, Shin's older brother, Yen, checked if Hary successfully locked Shin's leg before counting 1-3 and announcing that the American acting-airhead won on their match.

"Hah! My skill never rusted! As I ex----" he got cut off when a punch landed on his face, knocking him off and making him have a dizzy landing on the ground. The American boy is about to pick himself to charge and attack when someone straggles him from behind, making him winced and let go a scream in pain.

"I think it is rusted." all of them went silent as someone let go of Hary and dusted off its coat and that someone is, Ellreign. She's smirking at the boy lying on the floor before straightening her uniform. Their mouth were left in ajar after witnessing their president's moves.

"I told you that you can play wrestling but put all of the desks and chairs on the side and swept the floors first didn't I?" all of them didn't answer after witnessing it, they left in shock and speechless. Who else did not? They all just knew that Ellreign can't fight because of her weak body but she can discipline them by arguing.

"Adrenaline rushes probably," she said before shrugging her shoulders as Kiel give her a questioning look. Ellreign lowered herself into Hary's level at tapped his face to motion him to seat down.

"Does it hurt badly?" Hary nods his head as a reply and pointed his jaw where he feels a stinging sensation every time he tried to move a muscle. Their president heaves a sigh before standing up and walking towards the mini-fridge of their classroom. The school administration of theirs exclusively made a special classroom only for them, since half of them are so-called 'worst criminals' that their school and their parents hoping to 'change' or got saved from the authorities because of their crimes.

"Here." Ellreign handed her classmate the ice packs. Shin pressed it into his near at being numb forehead while Hary pressed it into his stinging jaw. She looked at the rest of her classmates whose arguing which of them are the winners of the bet they have. Yen keeps on staring at his classmates in full of grimaces because his friends keep on arguing who's the winner even it's the American acting-airhead Hary. He wanted to slam their heads together by keeping the small talk long and also he's annoyed, not because his brother lost, it is because the baboons haven't got his money back since he bet on both sides. Secretly.

Maybe it's a form of cheating to them but for him? It's just a game with a little bit of dirty play, but still, it's a form of cheating.

"Here," Shin whispered while sliding the 500 pesos bill into his pocket. He smiled before nudging his twin's aching shoulder, making the younger one hiss and cursed him.

Hours have been passed and their dismissal comes. All of them are busy cleaning the room while their president guarding the first door and their vice president; Yen, guarding the second door so none of them can escape from cleaning the room. When all of them are done, they immediately rushed outside.

"Don't run to the stairs!" Ellreign said to them.

"We're not running!" Kiel said before rushing towards his other friends. They will probably wait for her outside. As their noises faded into the background the hallways filled with the deafening sound of silence. Their president shook her head and heave a sigh before successfully locking the door from the outside.

"Have you read the note?" a gentle yet deep voice asked her from behind, resulting in her almost jumping in sudden shock. She faced the boy and glared at him, but Ice smiled before putting his left hand on the wall beside her head.

"So, where do you want to go? What do you want to eat?" Ice himself is confused as either why he's doing this. How can he still hold his cool even his heart started racing.

"I want ICE cream." the girl in front of him answered. Ice flustered before looking away but not removing his hand on the wall beside her. She tapped his face then said; "Nice try to act badass, Ice." she said in full mockery then started to take a step away from the flustered gangster.

"H-Hey! Do you still want to go out?" Ellreign raised her hand then her two fingers. Her index finger and her middle finger to motion Ice that she's going with him. The gangster feels nothing but joy when Ellreign did that. He immediately followed her tracks until they reached outside of their school where her friends were waiting.

When they finally out, all of her friends' gazes darted into the gangster on Ellreign's side. They're glaring at Ice so the gangster did the same thing to them too. An eleven against one staring contest.

"We're going to the mall. Wanna come?" she asked them. Her friend sends death glares at Ice before turning at her.

"We are going."

"I'm not going-----" Ice stopped talking when Ellreign faced him and dragged him to start walking. That makes him feel guilt after saying that he's not going to treat them like what he's going to do with Ellreign but he realized that his gut cut off so they won't figure out what he's talking about.

"It's fine you don't treat them, they have their own money," she said before letting go of his suitor's arm.

They finally reach the mall which is within walking distance between their school and the mall. The guards didn't bother to inspect every one of them since Ice owns the mall and the perks of being an owner, all of the foods or kinds of stuff inside the mall are all his.

After eating at the restaurant, they decided to roam around. The rest of section 10 aside from Ellreign and Ice having fun while walking while the president is pacing out. She's wondering how she can handle the new kids.

'I'm wishing that the new kids don't need me to use a harsh way to make them behave for a while.' she thought.

"Hey!" she yelps when someone crashed into someone and slumped into a floor. When she looked up a handsome face of a guy wearing eyeglasses who's paler than paper drinking a bubble tea greeted her. He's just looking at her while wondering why she's sitting there even the mall has benches. His vision is curtained by his long run out of melanin bangs.

"Sorry," she said while dusting her skirt and fixing her uniform. The guy stopped sipping his drink and was about to speak but Ellreign raised her hand to motion him to stop so he obeyed. He doesn't want to speak English either.

"You don't need to say sorry. It's my fault, I'm pacing out," she said and give him an apologetic smile.

"I'm leaving. Sorry." she once said. The guy furrowed his brows as he watched her being awkward.

'She's hurt?' the guy thought. He holds on to her arm, making the female confused.

"Uhhh, Mister? Are you alright?" Ellreign asked while waving her hand in front of the silent guy who's holding her right arm.

His laziness to talk got drained after meeting her electric blue eyes.

"You.." the clueless female gives him a confused look that makes him let go of her arm.

"Hurt." and someone's going to nag.

"No I'm not, trust me." she bit him goodbye before walking away. The guy shrugged before walking in opposite direction.

"Gramps I'm here!" she greeted as she gets inside their home. The mid 60's Japanese man wearing an apron exited their kitchen and greeted before placing the tray of food on the table.

"How's your school?" Ellreign is about to go upstairs to put her stuff and exchange clothes but she stopped and glances at him.

"We received our awards and medals from last year's recognition and the dean told us that I'm going to handle new kids," she said before going to her room, making the old man chuckle. His granddaughter acted like she hates people around her but no, that's the opposite of her true nature. She's like a motherly figure to the people she met.

When they're done eating, Ellreign is now laying on her bed while thinking about the new kids and the stranger she bumped at the mall.

"That guy looks like Hary but in platinum blonde hair and paler," she said before closing her eyes.
