EPILOGUE

*Some time in the future*

Jamie stood at the end of the aisle right beside Ashton who looked nervous as hell. Shortly after he and Jennie's conversation years ago he had met Ashton.

Although very reluctant on it, eventually they met. At first they didn't like each other and threats were thrown each other's way until they found out that had very similar tastes in everything and became best friends much to Jennie's dismay.

Jamie placed a hand on Ashton's shoulder and squeezed it reassuringly. Ashton smiled nervously and patted Jamie on the back before focusing his attention to the end of the aisle.

They pianist began to play the Wedding March and the glass French doors opened to reveal Jennie dressed in a flowy white princess gown with a sweetheart neckline. It didn't have much bling on it but she made it shine.

She looked beautiful, Jamie thought.

She always was.

Once at the end she held Ashton's hand and they walked onto the dais and stood in front of the priest. Vows were exchanged, rings too and finally the kiss and the crowd erupted into applause.

Once the ceremony was over it was off to the reception where the bride and groom had their first dance. Afterwards came food and cake. Then embarrassing speechs from friends and family and it was then that Jennie got up to ask her best for a dance.

"Care to dance Mr Scott?"

"I would love to Mrs Morris."

Once on the dance floor the music changed to a slow song and they waltzed.

"I still can't believe you convinced him to take your last name."

Jennie smiled in his shoulder. Then chuckled.

"I can't believe you haven't killed him yet."

"Well... If the offer is still up."

They both laughed.

"You know that I'll always love you right Jamie?"

Jamie smiled, albeit sadly. She couldn't see it which was good. Having her in his arms like this was a dream he always wanted but seeing her happy was more than enough for him.

"I'll always love you too Jennie. Promise me something though..."

"What?"

"That's we'll always be Jennie and Jamie."

"Against the world?"

"Why of course..."

She held him closer and whispered in her ear.

"I promise."
