At this, a flicker of delight flashed through the children's eyes and they eagerly nodded their agreement.
A pleasant smile tugged at the corners of Adam's lips as he stood up, took the children by their hands, and turned to Jordan, who was standing by the door. "I'm taking the children out for the day. Make sure you let your sister know," he said.
Jordan nodded in acknowledgment. "Don't worry, I'll tell her. Also, be careful," he said, as Adam left with the two children.
In the car, Chad, sitting in the backseat, leaned against the window in excitement. "Where are we going to play?" he asked.
Fully prepared, Adam replied with a joyful smile, "Water park, amusement park, anything."
