All in the same day. I am so thankful that I chose this town. So far it has been a blessing. And this cabin, I have never seen such a beautiful place and it's mine. All wood flooring, marble counter tops, large pane glass windows and the master bedroom, it's huge! Beautiful walk in shower and a jacuzzi tub for two! Not that I will find anyone soon, I need to put my baby first and make Sam does not find us.

There wasn't much to unpack from my car since I only picked up the bare necessities in my rush to leave LA. Material things are replaceable, but my baby is not. How could he suggest such a thing. I Sam is a powerful man and he would find a way to make what he wants happen. I am a doctor for god's sake. I am a healer not a killer. My heart just isn't in it.

With everything done, dinner isn't for a couple of hours I think a nap will do me some good. I have had a long couple of days in the road. The couch in the cabin is a plush soft leather material piled with blankets and directly in front of a magnificent fireplace. Thank the heavens it is gas, I have no clue how to even start a fire.

A tear starts rolling down her cheek and her lips tremble with the thought of starting over alone and pregnant, but what choice did she have. She already love the baby growing inside her even though she just found out about him or her. She is a mother at heart. As more tears start to form and roll down her cheek she slowly drifts into a sleep she silently prays for some good to happen in her life.

Christian's POV

I am one of the Alpha's of the Blue Mountain Pack. Me and my brothers took over as the alpha's about 3 years ago when we turned 23 after alpha training with the council. Reggie is acting Luna for us until we find our mate, which I am starting to think we never will. My pack is the largest and strongest pack of shifters in the US. Our territory is rather large with the amount of shifters we have. Blue Mountain Resort is our main source of income. My grandfather built it up when he was alpha before my dad was born. We live peacefully with the humans on the mountain and offer them protection from the vampires as the moon goddess had originally planned for us.

Most of our pack owns or works at the shops in the town or at the resort. Our pack is one of a kind as we have multiple types of shifters living together as a family. We have lived like this for centuries, one of the few packs structured like this to last more than a few years. We have our pack divided into sectors for those who want to be around their own kind but they are not forced to living there. We do not judge who the moon goddess has chosen for us either. That is what makes us special. We fully believe that the moon goddess does what is right for all shifters.

This is why I am in Canada attending the annual Alpha/Luna Meeting, which is boring. Most of the Alpha's have brought their unmated daughters with them hoping to find their mates, me and my brothers are the unfortunate ones to not have found our mate. We could choose a mate because we are Alpha's, but the moon goddess told me that she has picked someone unbelievably special for us and I will wait as long as it takes for me to find her because I know without a doubt she will be everything I will ever need in a mate. I just hope she's not human.

Heading back to the meeting hall, my pocket starts to vibrate. Pinching the bridge of my nose, just thinking it was another alpha wanting me to meet his daughter, maybe I just should say the line starts here. LOL like that would really work. Yeah, Right. I am 26 years old and matless. Dear moon goddess please send me my mate soon, I have done as you have asked, please send her soon.

Thank the moon goddess it just my sister. "Hey Reggie! What's up?" My sister normally doesn't call me unless she has to make a huge decision at the resort or with the pack when I am away. "Is everything alright?" Silence on the line from my sister is starting to worry me.

"Yes, sorry big brother! Gemma walked in as you picked up. I got some news for you. I found a new doctor with a turquoise aura about her. So she's a true healer, but I think she is unaware she is a healer and that she is blessed." Well that is one less thing that I have to worry about when I get back to the pack lands. We have been searching for a new healer for a few months now since our last healer pasted away. Healers are the most blessed among shifters, but it is usually past down for generations among the females only. "I'll talk to dad, maybe we just to help her unlock her abilities. We may want to get her family's background also. That may help us understand her a little bit more."

"Alright brother ill get Randy on that after I talk with her and finish giving her the tour of the resort. I'll talk with you more about her when I have more information brother."

"Okay sis, talk later then. I hope to be heading home within the month. Make sure your brothers are doing their jobs. I would like the pack in one piece when I get home." My lips are slightly pointed up as I say that last sentence about my brothers. I know they are doing a great job and I trust them completely but I still have to give them a hard time.
