As tempting as it sounded, probably carrying on sleeping was not a good option.

She had a fleeting thought, but her clouded mind didn't register it, letting it meaninglessly twirl in her brain and vanish into nothingness. Had she paid attention to her own thoughts, would she have felt that something was amiss sooner?

Her hand stretched out, reaching in midair for something, yet it caught nothing, falling back down to her side.

She groaned and groggily sat up, fighting against her laziness, she paid attention for the first time to the hard floor she was sitting on, then she frowned.

Her mind felt as if it had been immersed deep into the sea and her thought process was a jumbled mess. The polka dotted giraffes were still running in her dream, and here she was again, in another strange dream.

The square room with perfect white walls was making her feel dizzy.

She yawned and stretched her arms, bending her head back to stretch her neck muscles.

'Bang!'

"What the!! When did the wall move so close to the bed? Are you kidd.."

She angrily grumbled, yet ended her sentence with a whisper.

Her eyes widened and she looked around panicked. She was now fully awake.

She sprang to her feet but was overwhelmed by dizziness, falling back down to the ground. The stinging in the palms of her hands made her hiss in pain.

As she looked around she tried searching in her memories to make sense of the situation she was in but soon she started panicking even more: there were no memories to begin with.
