Far away on the borders, it was raining cats and dogs but it didn't stop a group of soldiers from fighting

"General you should take some rest you've been fighting since yesterday," Said one of the caring comrades.

" I am okay, I can still fight just take care of yourself self" came the reply from the general.

"Attack" She again commanded

Suddenly thunder started storming, and the smell of blood was getting more and more intense. The running water turned dark red.

Lu Wan was starting to lose her focus but had to act strong because her comrades were still hanging on her behalf, She had to hold on just a little more waiting for the backup team to arrive but it was taking forever.

She watched as her fellow soldiers were being shot dropping dead one by one her ears started ringing.

"Listen all of you, retreat " She used her remaining energy to scream.

They all looked at her, this was the first time in all her battles to announce the word "retreat"

"General you're bleeding " one of them shouted.

Yes, she was bleeding but not dead, she looked at them and started hearing their conversation before coming here.

One said "Hey, look at my daughter isn't she cute? I am fighting for my country this one time and if I come back alive, I will quit the army"

" You're so lucky as for me, my wife is pregnant and she refused to tell me the baby's gender and she promised to tell if I go back," Another one said smiling with pain in his eyes.

"Look at you guys at least you have kids but me, I plan on dating after this task my parents are worried sick" Another one joined.

They kept on talking not knowing that they were adding pressure on their General giving her more reason to take care of them.

She looked in front and finally decided. They never looked down on her even though she was a skinny woman, they passed through life and death she smiled at them tears threatening to fall

" Listen, friends, you must run in that direction in 10 minutes the rescue team will reach you. I love you all and please tell my boyfriend that I am waiting for him" She said ready to head in front.

"No general if we are to leave we have to go

together" one cried She was the best leader and a woman how can they selfishly abandon her?

Lu Wan turned cold and her voice became hoarse "This is an order and besides they want me. Look around you, many of our comrades are dead so please leave " Her aural changed making them salute before matching back but some were crying.

After making sure that they were all gone she sighed, She then imagined her boyfriend panicking while ready to rescue her she smiled foolishly.

She surrendered not because she wanted her boyfriend to rescue her but because she wanted to save her comrades and thought that she weighed more and this title alone would add pressure to higher-ups and they come for her.

They covered her eyes with black clothes and took her with them, it took like 30 minutes to reach their base.

Once they arrived, they unfolded her, and she tried hiding her eyes protecting them from the sudden light. She had Phoenix eyes, arched eyebrows, a straight and small nose, sexy pink lips and not forgetting her oval face with bunned black hair. Having milky skin color with long straightened legs made her the most beautiful woman they have ever seen

They started to surround her while smiling and licking their lips like a predator watching its prey. But before touching her someone coughed.

One of the leaders came out from the big tent. He was covered in tattoos his bulged body could easily make any girl shiver but not Lu Wan.

She was even smiling when looked closely. The man paused and then smirked.

"You are the first girl to look at me and didn't cry," He said his voice sounding like thunder.

"Aiya why would I cry, do you think you are scary? The scared one must be you" She replied with a smirk.

"Ha ha ha ha..." Loud waves of laughter could be heard.

"Child you must be thinking that this is some kind of a movie, but don't worry Daddy won't hurt you if you cooperate, " The leader said in a relaxed manner.

"Look take me to your boss right now, if not" she smiled "Your territory will vanish in the next twenty-four hours."

"Calm down, are you not called Lu Wan?" He asked.

Lu wan panicked how did this man learn her name, being a general was not a secret but not her name. Even the not-close comrades didn't know her full name.

"How came you know my name?" She asked

Chuckles could be heard from inside the tent and suddenly a man and a woman came out of it while holding hands.

Lu wan wiped her eyes making sure that she wasn't seeing things, Impossible how come? She was not dreaming, right? If so she had to wake from this crazy dream it was starting to scare her.

"You know what I admire about you is naivety" Tsk tsk She continued "thinking that everything can be solved just by your words" She giggled

"No she is just used to being a general and giving orders," said the man while organizing a chair for the woman beside him.

Lu Wan didn't even dare to breathe, her mind was playing a trick on her. She must be tired from all the fighting.
