4 Judging a book by its cover

Grandpa Martin was fond of sport cars and it rubbed off on Sara, that is grandma Martin, so even after he passed she still buys any new sports car that she fancies.

Sara had at least ten sports cars, aside from the ones Taylor bought her, which explains the underground parking lot. Mia ran a finger on the Lincoln navigator then peered inside the tinted windows.

"Hahaha, grandma you haven't used this car have you?" Mia asked with a smile.

Sara rolled her eyes, "your mom has no taste whatsoever in cars" she opened the trunk of the limo that brought Mia and texted someone.

Mia was bubbling with excitement in anticipation of what her grandma was planning. A bodyguard walked in fast strides towards them. He was holding two boxes that was identical to Mia's own. Mia raised a brow and looked at her grandma. Sara just shrugged and smiled.

The bodyguard switched the suitcases with him with the ones in the limo's trunk. Then he put Mia's boxes in the navigator.

"I don't even want to ask how you knew what my boxes looked like" Mia said.

Sara just laughed and patted Mia's shoulder. "Then do you want to know what's in here?" she pointed to the lookalike suitcases.

Mia nodded and the bodyguard opened it.

"Hahaha...oh my God... hahaha" Mia held her stomach and laughed for a long time. After a while she cleaned the tears in her eyes. "Bedsheets? duvets? are you kidding me? hahaha"

The suitcases in the limo were full of at least ten bedspreads. Sara really knows how to mess with people.

"Come Mon Cherie we have a long night ahead of us" Sara said and held Mia's hand. At the garage door Sara let Mia go out first before turning to give the bodyguard a wink.

The bodyguard nodded, then he removed an unnoticeable tracker and attached it to one of Mia's clothes. The tracker was very slim and would not be detected by a scanner because Sara had no plans of putting it on until she was sure that Mia had gone to college.

Meanwhile inside the house, dinner was almost ready so Sara decided to engage Mia in some chess.

"Just so you know I'm just letting you win" Mia said after losing for the sixth time.

"Of course that's why you're my favorite opponent" Sara said with all seriousness. "Let's do something else, come with me"

Sara led Mia to a secluded part of the house. It was a training area filled with all kinds of weapons and armor.

"It's time to see if you remember any of your lessons" Sara said and instructed someone to help Mia change to sparring clothes. She herself went to change, when she came out she looked ten years younger since her suit was glued to her body and showed her shapely figure.

"I hope you don't only use your skills to bully people" Sara said as she climbed into the boxing ring.

Mia chuckled nervously, "what are you talking about grangran?"

"You realize that you only call me that when you are actually guilty of the crime" Sara said with her all-knowing-smirk.

She taught Mia new techniques including how to make a person pass out with just one touch, all the deadly kicks and everything Sara felt Mia should know.

Mia felt like she was still undertrained and asked Sara if she could train with one of the bodyguards. Sara didn't argue and nodded her head towards a petite bodyguard.

Mia looked the figure up and down and looked at her grandma. Is this meant to be a joke? What's this? This person looks...malnourished.

Mia immediately looked at her grandma in disapproval. There was no way she was going to be imprisoned for murder she was too young for that. Not to mention too pretty.

"Begin" Sara said only one word and went to sit down.

Mia licked her lips and decided to go easy on the person in front of her. The person's face was covered but from the delicate curves here and there one could know that it's a girl.

Mia sighed and decided to make the girl pass out but as she lifted her hand to touch the girl's neck, the girl caught her wrist, twisted it, somehow she managed to lift Mia up and slam her facedown.

Mia's nose was bloody when she lifted her head. She started coughing and rubbing her throat. When the girl carried her in the air she pressed a part of Mia's neck and now Mia couldn't breathe. She gasped for air and when it seemed that she was about to go on a journey to the other world. The girl pinched Mia's neck and that was all it took for Mia not to die.

Sara shook her head and nodded at the girl. The girl removed her mask and Mia saw pale and beautiful skin, pink lips and brown orbs that tried to pierce her blues, but luckily for Mia she was good at making her eyes cold and distant and often if she tried hard enough expressionless.

"You still judge a book by its cover, Mia. You have to learn that appearances can be very deceiving. Take for instance Sisley here. You thought that her fragile and break-if-you-touch appearance means she is weak. I hope you have learnt your lesson. Let's go now dinner should be ready" Sara faced Sisley "well done you haven't disappointed, as always"

Sisley simply nodded stiffly, her eyes still trained on Mia's. Mia wanted to look away but something about this girl was just...off. Like she would stab you the moment you turned your back.

"Mia. Let's go" Sara was already by the door.

Mia gave the girl a once-over before getting up and staggering to the door. In her heart she felt that girl was gonna be her doom someday or maybe she was over thinking it.
