The Undercurrents Start To Flow

With the sleeping location fixed, Asher looked around for a heavy enough rock that he could place at the edge of the boulder.

This was a safety measure so that he wouldn't just roll off from the side mistakenly while asleep. Additionally it would also block the line of sight of anyone that mights looking at them mountain.

Even if it was hard to look in the dark, in the early hours of morning there was enough light that Asher could be spotted. He did this as a precaution as he didn't know how long he would be sleeping.

With how long he had traveled he expected the exhaustion to be decent enough.

Once he placed the rock, Asher placed the rucksack under his head and used the tunic as a blanket before sleeping. It didn't even take him two minutes to fall asleep once his head hit laid down.

Asher drifted away into dreamless sleep, unaware of the events that were taking place far away from him.
