155 Way out of hibernation

I think writing a little bit is better than writing a lot and a lot. I used to have chapters of 5,500 or 2,800 words. But this is a pre-pandemic world. And now there is at least a lot of time, but not enough strength.

Therefore, having estimated, I decided to write 500 words a day, but often. At the same time, I have few dialogues so far. More passive conversations. But it also happens, such as "Kuma Kuma Kuma - Bear". In my opinion, a cool story.

I still have some ideas, nevertheless it is difficult to get to the main idea - the farm itself, but I try to speed up this process. For January, I only wrote 2 chapters. But the plans were to write at least 500,000 words this year.

My Russian friends say, come on, this is not literature if you write 500,000 words. This is graphomania! But here you need to understand that there are two different genres - ordinary fiction and short stories. Because fiction, it already assumes that the author, who has taken place as a writer, knows how to write.

Therefore, his work is evaluated not in words but in signs (letters, commas, spaces). And the novels, we are just learning how to write, so we need to be able to work efficiently, to be able to write 2,500 words a day, at least 300,000 words a year, which I managed to do in 2020. However, there are truly brilliant people on the site who can write from 1,000,000 to 2,000,000 words in 1 year.
