Those Who Stray

One hundred people follow the same winding path, flanked by humongous trees that tower above them, letting very little sunlight in. An unsettling fog that never allows them to see past a few trees, leaving them void of any adventure. Mystery is all that lies beyond, something that has followed this clan since the beginning of time. Three rules were set since creation. One- no one shall enter the forest or move backwards along the path. Two- the population of the the tribe must stay at one hundred. Three- always keep moving forward unless to rest or eat. With these three rules, Koda is forced to suppress his curiosity for what lies beyond the fog. Why they travel the plain looking dirt path that their ancestors have for generations? Why is he not allowed to go into the forest? Why is he not allowed to discover?
