1 Prologue Part 1: A Conversation Between the Gods

" I swear just look at all of them down there. Claiming to be one of us...Despicable !"

" Ah, why do you even care for the affairs of man Baldr?" Bacchus said while taking a sip of his wine on a luxurious chair and staring off into the golden sky that surrounds the halls of Valhalla.

" As if, I'm merely stating that these vermin should know their place before claiming to be God's. Such an act for beings so excruciating weak, it's laughable. Wouldn't you agree Jupiter ?" - Baldr

"...." - Jupiter

" Hahaha silent as always, guess your not getting the favor of one of the supreme Goddesses on this one Baldr. Or maybe it's because she "

" Silence Loki....I swear by the Chief Gods I'll roast you and cease that infernal laugh of yours for good!" - Baldr

"Oohhhh always so touchy aren't we Baldy, Ya know....you'll nev" - Loki

"Shuuuutt UPPPPPP!!" Baldr screamed at the top of his lungs cutting off Loki while firing off a beam of light through the interior of the Hall of Valhalla and blasting straight through the ceiling spreading towards the heavens.

"Wahhahaha!!!! Oh Baldy aren't you suppose to be the God of light and oh what was it again...purity?" Loki said mockingly.

" I told you to NEVER CALL ME THATTT!!" Baldr now had a bright aura surrounding him which started to distort the surrounding environment and causing everyone in room to stare. He had a look of pure rage while staring intently towards Loki as if begging for a reason to strike him down.

"Baldr! Quiet down this instant. I swear the temper tantrums of children will never cease around here" said a women of unattainable beauty who walked into the interior of the hall alongside other supreme Gods. She had long flowing hair that glowed, and long white dress that reached the floor behind her as she walked. She had a surrounding light that cascaded across her skin that showed all those present that she was too a member of the Divine. She was the Goddess Freya, the Goddess of love and beauty. An unmatchable beauty that was the pride of the heavens. She entered into the grand hall of Valhalla with a one eyed God covered in golden armor and long white hair, as well as a much taller and muscular God with an olive branch on top of his head with no shirt, thus showing off his robust physique. They were the Supreme Gods known as Odin and Zeus. Though this was not Mount Olympus, many God's including Zeus transversed through different realms and plains and often visited one another after ascending to Godhood. It wasn't rare to see Gods and Goddesses of different origins to share in one another's company in their own perspective homes. As they entered into the great hall being escorted by Odin's valkyries, they immediately noticed the damage by the beam of light created by Baldr.

"Fre...Freya? What do you mean a tantrum. This little trickster God dared call me..." - Baldr

"Freya's right Baldr just let it go. Aren't you suppose to be a God of purity and you succumb to such acts so easily. It really is a depressing site" - Odin. This sentence silencing Baldr where he immediately.

" HaHaHa Ahhhh it's always so amusing when I come here. You Norse are always so entertaining" - Zeus

"Yes.....it's always quite lively here" said Freya in a bitter tone.

" Now then, who would care to explain to me why you desecrated the Great Hall here Baldr?" - Odin

" Apparently these two's fight this time began over an argument over the affairs of humans" Bacchus proclaimed while finished off a bottle of wine. A slender women in a short, luxurious dress then walked over and sat beside him while pouring him another glass as he remained seated.

" Humans? And why would the affairs of mortals bear enough weight to start a fight amongst God's?" Odin said as he stared at Baldr with an anger resounding through his voice.

"Well...you two say fight but really it was just me standing here while that almighty lightbulb over there decided to redecorate the place" - Loki said with a mischievous smile. Bacchus, his servants, and even Jupiter began to smile and laugh to themselves.

"Ughhhhh!!!" Baldr began to become enraged again as his divine aura began to make the surroundings much brighter again.

" Baldr.....Stop that! Now I think I see how this started and Loki you know better than to pick fights with fellow God's" - Odin

"Mmmm.... I wasn't so much picking a fight as wanting to throw in my two cents before The..." - Loki

"Loki stop with the name calling your equally as guilty as Baldr for this act!" - Freya

After Freya spoke Loki closed his eyes and chuckled to himself for a moment before continuing.

" Fine. I simply wanted to comment on Baldr's opinions on humans is all"

"His opinions?" - Said Odin looking confused.

"Yes, What's wrong with my opinions for those puny vermin. They are beings who sit on thrones of lies telling themselves they have the power of GODS! Such blasphemy makes me sick!" - Baldr

" Hehe and why would a God care of the affairs of a bunch of ants it's not like it affects the Gods" one of the Valkyries donned in a brilliant shining blue armor stated while standing next to Odin.

"Because.....ugh well. It's shameful. To claim the title of a God and be so uselessly weak I" Baldr claimed looking for another reason to explain his outburst in the Great Hall. Even though he was a God considered to be truly immortal to all damage, he feared the power of Odin and his mighty Valkyries. The Chief God had far more power than even he could comprehend. As well as the fact Odin's Valkyries were made for war. Get enough armored beauties together and they apparently could take down even a High God.

"Baldr really why do you care. It's not as if any of these mortals live long anyway. Their lifespans are but a small candle that fades in the wind over time and is put out before you know it." - said the same valkyrie.

"Exactly! Seriously Baldr it's not like any of those could ever reach us up here. They are weak and will always remain as such haha" Bacchus said laughing as he chugged down another glass while getting much more closer to the women serving him almost losing interest in the conversation all together. He had much better things on his mind at the moment. And then the next statement that was said is something that received everyones undivided attention.

"That's where you are both wrong. Something each of you will forever remain ignorant of I'm afraid." Loki stated with a serious tone and no longer laughing. He stared at the Valkyrie and Baldr as if almost pitying them for their stupidity.

"What are you talking about Loki? You've been gone for so long and now you come back to Asgard saying such foolish things. Don't tell me you think a mortal can make it up here amongst us God's? As Bacchus said, they're weak, and they will always remain weak."- Baldr said while feeling confident of himself now in front of everyone after what Loki just stated.

"No Loki what are you referring to, first your long absence here. I assume you've been spending your time with these humans after such words. What are you implying of being ignorant of" - Bacchus said now seemingly interested in what Loki had to say.

"Alas..... I was simply stating what I've observed over the eons of this vast universe. It's funny how a couple of lowly God's can complain about lesser beings claiming themselves to be strong, while you yourselves could be considered as such for maybe even greater beings. - Loki

" LOWLY!!!?" - Baldr screamed infuriated

"LOwghgha .....Cough caougha " - Bacchus tried to say while choking and caughing on his wine pathetically.

" Loki....what do you think of humans?" said an almost pure and innocent voice that had not been heard in this Hall for a very long time. It was Jupiter. At this turn of events everyone in the room turned to look at the source of the voice seeing that they had just heard Jupiter speak in what felt like centuries. She's not a shy Goddess, she just has never been one with many words is all. So anytime this Supreme Goddess spoke it was something that everyone would immediately stop what they're doing to pay attention. Because if this is something she is asking of Loki, no one, not even Odin would want to interrupt what she wanted to learn.

"WHA...." - Baldr said shocked at how Jupiter herself was speaking to Loki. Someone who was in his eyes a lowly, no talent troublemaker, was not worthy to be spoken to by such a pure and powerful Goddess. She should be speaking to him, The God of Light and Purity. But sadly it didn't work out that way for him.

" Hmm what do I think of them...I believe that humans are amazing existences that show such extraordinary potential. They share in life and love and experience things in ways that us God's cant even comprehend. I also believe that being weak isn't necessarily a bad thing."

"What are you talking about, obviously someone like you would say that about being weak, pshhh!!!" - Baldr

" Quiet....why isn't it bad" Jupiter explained in a monotone voice while staring quite intently at Loki. This was honestly enough for even him to to become nervous. It's not everyday that they see Jupiter so interested in something.

" Because, being weak can lead to some of the most amazing discoveries and creations. Those that are always strong will tend to become overconfident, boasting in they're power. Never pushing forward to the new and unknown, just remaining stagnant believing themselves to have it all figured out. And yet to be weak, pushes someone to greater distances than any of us God's could ever go to. To constantly be weak one must push and push and fight for what they do not have. In every age in every kingdom in this vast universe we're in the strong will sharpen their claws, while the weak will polish their wits. We as mighty beings sit up relying on our magic and longevity never knowing of the amazing things that have been produced by those who have never even seen magic. It is truly a spectacular sight to see. And I in all honesty believe that for any of you fools who look down on those "weaklings", thinking they are nothing more than insects that will never reach the heavens, could not be any more ignorant of what amazing potential that lies out there. Don't be fooled, those weaklings will one day make it even up here. And what a day that will be" After Loki finishes his speech this left the Great Hall in silence to the peculiar things he had just said.

A God glorifying weakness as if it is much more beneficial than high powered magic from the God's was just insane talk. Yet he said it with the utmost confidence as if he was looking down on every God in that room with pitying looks.

" HA!!! you've been spending so much time with the humans they've finally rubbed off on you Loki. Tis a shame but I do not care. As if any of those puny mortals could ever make it up here to Asgard or any of the other God realms." - Baldr

" He's obviously joking Baldr I mean he is the trickster right..." Said one of the valkyries.

" No.....this is not one of my jokes. You all seem to think that one who is weak will just remain weak. I however choose to see things differently is all." - Loki

" You have quite some interesting opinions boy. Seeing a site like that could be interesting in it's own right" - Zeus said intrigued. The other God's in the room just remained quiet contemplating the strange things Loki had just said.

" I guess we'll just have to wait for that day to come then won't we..." Loki said finishing his conversation. Saying what he wanted to say he was through with the conversation. He continued to look into the golden horizon thinking of his travels. After spending his time touring the universe he had made the most amazing discoveries. Going to new worlds and lands of all kinds constantly enthralled in the new things his eyes were seeing. Along his long travels he visited an old world he had seen almost a millenia ago however it had changed much more than when he had last saw it. It was an almost futurist society to what he had originally seen and the amazing creations the humans of this world had created truly astounded Loki. This was a world completely devoid of magic and yet the humans here flourished in a way the humans and even the God's back home couldn't even comprehend. The Chief God's had visited this land long ago as well but left soon after realizing it was a dimension that our magic power was quite limited there. Though our power was truly so vast that the mortals of this world couldn't dare to harm us it wasn't the humans of this world we were afraid of. The creator of this particular world was something.......ancient. Something we couldn't properly ascertain of its power. But we could feel it.

Whatever it was was an existence so primal it may have been beyond even our own universe. All we know is after affecting some of the local inhabitants of the world we somehow enraged this existence. The Chief God Odin riding across the sky on his mighty steed Sleipnir had called upon this ancient being almost asking it for a fight. However not much is known after that. Though Odin has not spoke of what he saw that day when calling out to fight the Creator of that world. All that is known as that The Chief God stated all of us were to never return to this planet for any reason. We left the world that day and hadn't returned since. The only thing us fellow God's present could make of what happened was, whatever Odin saw that day is what made him permanently lose his left eye. The myths say he gave up his left eye for infinite wisdom and knowledge, well that I do not know if its true. But I do know seeing this existence forever changed the war God Odin that day...

As I, Loki, continued to ponder through my thoughts I noticed that Jupiter was still intently staring at me curiously.
