1 Thornless Rose

Flowers have different meanings, I have always love studying flowers and see what are the meanings. My father was a noble knight who is the strongest in the kingdom and he married a woman who is a noble too and she loves flowers and then I came in, my name is Basil a 7 year old kid who love flowers just like her mother.

The family was invited into a dinner with the King, the father of Basil is close with the King because of his loyalty into the royal family and a old friend, As we enter the castle The King greet with a happy smile.

"Welcome to the castle! I am King Petalo"

Basil doesn't know the outside world because the mother insisted to live in a small house in a field filled with flowers little far away from the Kingdom so he doesn't know the king or any other nobles but Basil knows royal etiquette. As they finished formally greet the king they were brought into the table to eat the finest food.

The whole royal family came in the dinner Basil saw a girl at her same age a girl who he thought was a flower because she is beautiful,and suddenly came back to her room Basil can't take her eyes off of her.

They were finished and walked around the castle as his father said "You can go explore the castle Basil, your mother and I have some discussion with the King"

As he explores the castle he stumbled upon a field of flowers and saw various types of flowers, Basil was extremely happy.

He looks around the field and saw one lonely flower a thornless rose and picked it up.

Basil heard footstep coming this way and she met the girl "Hello what are you doing here ? said the girl. Basil introduced himself with proper manner but talks nervously

"My name is Princess Fioritura Stelo, Fioritura means bloom but you can call me Fiore"

"My name is Basil but you can call me Bas"

Fioritura said she wanted to play so they played various games and The King was calling them Fioritura took Basil's flower and she said "See you later Bas"

Basil blushed and thought to himself you are my love at first sight....
