14 Chapter 14

Having just finished owning the collective asses of Rias entire Peerage Ace could say with certainty that, as they are now, they will most likely lose if they were to face Riser. Hell, his Mera Mera no Mi was similar in effects to the Phenex family trait and none of them seemed to have any way to cause any damage to him. If it was like this how exactly Rias planed to win?

If she actually thought 'Power of Friendship' then Ace would do the world a favor and off her. He might die afterward but it would at least secure the world's gene pool from being infected with the idiocy.

Seeing the results of his fight Ace decided to be nice and heal those he defeated. They were clearly badly burned, like really badly burned. He was quite sure he could almost see the bone in some places with Kiba, and Ace was quite sure he wasn't the one that caused those specific burns.

Looking at Nehan the little homie just smiled at him and Ace decided to let it go. The little guy was too cute to do anything against in Ace's eyes.

Going to Koneko first Ace grimaces at the damage he did on her belly. It was not pretty at all.

Moving his hand close he used only the phoenix logia this time to concentrate on the healing aspect of the fire. Rias was running at Ace, thinking that he would hurt Koneko, but Ace didn't care. Instead, he just pressed the fire on Koneko's stomach.

Rias launched her magic at Ace while he was healing Koneko, he would have defended himself but with his Haki he sensed someone moving first, and despite not really understanding why he just let that go and focused on healing.

Healing with these flames was not easy as he had to constantly focus on healing otherwise he would just injure Koneko.

"Get out of my way. He is trying to hurt my precious Koneko!" Rias shouted, her energy flaring as she had no control over it at this instant.

The person in front of her didn't waver at all, her sword in the ready as she stared at Rias head-on.

"No." Was all she said as Rias launched a blast of power of destruction at her. The blast was widespread, Rias clearly not paying attention since, if the attack was simply evaded, then the end result would be most likely Ace getting some damage and Koneko being obliterated.

Thankfully the girl in front of Rias was no weakling. With her sword she concentrated her power into it before swinging from up to bottom, cutting that strike in half.

Ace had to admire this strike, it was a great strike and made the swordsman in Ace want to face her to test how they matched against each other.

Rias, as if in a mad rush, charged a second strike, her eyes red in fury and without any control over her emotions, until a blast of water hit her from her back, making her stumble and dosing her on cold water.

Turning her blue eyes in anger at the one who did that Rias saw Sona with an unimpressed look.

"Did you cool down yet?" Sona asked.

"Don't stop me, Sona. He is trying to hurt my cute servants further!" Rias said, clear desperation in her voice.

Sona, meanwhile, sighed at this. Truly, Rias was a Gremory alright. No other devil family would be so emotional and don't pay any regard to logic as a Gremory would, and this was a clear show of it.

"Try and look again." Sona said and Rias, having cooled down a bit, looked again. Seeing that the flames Ace was currently using were instead rapidly healing Koneko instead of harming her making her understand what was going on. "Do you see it now, you dolt?" Sona said annoyed and Rias looked sheepish.

"Yeah, I got too nervous and panicked when I thought he would kill or further injure Koneko." Rias said.

"Humph, as if I would do that." Ace said, having finished treatment. There were still some injuries but the others would need his help more and Koneko could heal herself easily enough of what was left. Ace turned an eye at Rias and spoke. "I would never truly hurt Koneko, much less kill her."

Koneko, having waked up, looked at Ace with half linden eyes.

"Considering you left me in this state, you sound hypocrite." Koneko said.

"What? This was a spar, if I were to go easy on you then it would only be looking down on you." Ace said and Koneko nodded her head.

Ace then turned to the one that defended him and was about to speak in thanks when the girl moved to Mio's side, not even looking at Ace.

'Sigh, what is Yuki's problem with me? She hates me, then she ignores me, then she gets easily angry with me, and now she was the first one to jump in and defend me. What is her deal anyway?' Ace thought, Yuki looking to the side and refusing to admit his existence.

"Ace-kun, would you mind explaining to us why you suddenly have these powers that are similar and yet not to those of the Phenex clan?" Sona asked Ace, Rias now looking interested but Ace just waved her off.

"Nah, I don't feel like explaining it. I will just finish up the healing of the guys of Rias' Peerage and get my reward." Ace said, much to the annoyance of the two devil kings.

Rias would have complained but Ace just blasted his Conqueror's Haki at her, the pressure raising many times over and causing Rias to stop talking.

As for Isane, she was looking at this all and was shaking inside. Her cousin was strong, much stronger than what the young pervert had expected (and she quite liked that, if her panties' state was anything to go by). Not only that, he achieved that strength as a human, but how exactly did he manage that?

How did he manage to do all that?

Could he teach or help Isane be able to do that too?

And, most importantly, what Ace told her echoed in her head. Staying with the Boosted Gear inside her would make people that even her cousin feared come after her for it. While it was true that the sacred gear could allow Isane to become strong very fast, did she really want to face what was to come after her if she was to try and keep the gear?

Would it even be worth it?

Her cousin managed to get strong even without such a thing and Isane would rather not attract that many things to come after her, much less her parents. In truth Isane wanted a pleasurable life with a harem (not that she needed the harem to be specifically her own, just be in one where she could enjoy herself as much as possible), so keeping this gear would only make battle junkies come after her.

She honestly would rather attract others that would be interested in her, not on fighting. She wanted an hedonistic life, not a spartan one!

There was also that 'rival' of hers that Ace had said was extremely strong, Isane had no desire to face that at all.

With resignation, she decided to talk to Ace. She had arrived at a decision and she truly hoped she would not come to regret it.

Meanwhile Ace finished healing Kiba next before going to Akeno.

"And here I was thinking you was going to forget about me." Akeno teased with a small smirk despite the pain she was feeling, Ace just raised an eyebrow at her.

"Sorry, I was under the impression that a masochist like you wouldn't mind pain for a little while longer." Ace said and Akeno's smirk grew wider.

"I see, I didn't know you were a sadist. Maybe our compatibility is greater than I thought." She said and Ace scoffed.

"As if. I don't go about being half assed like you, so don't compare us." Ace said and Akeno's eyes narrowed at this.

"... What do you know of me?"

"This is for me to know and you to figure out now shut up and let me heal you already unless you prefer to feel pain longer than necessary." Ace said and Akeno stopped talking, not that her glare vanished however.

What few knew was that it was not just these people on the field that saw this fight. Far from it as three other groups saw everything that has happened.

The first is Sirzechs who had made his bishop prepare a few (about seventeen thousand) surveillance spells all over Kuoh to watch over Rias and Mio. If anything truly dangerous were to happen, he would be prepared this time. Hell, he even prepared a team of around 30 low-class devils to watch over the surveillance magic at all times so he would have a warning in case anything were to happen.

As such, Sirzechs began personally watching over Rias and Mio from the moment the two got closer to talk. With this he managed to see the entire fight between Ace and his darling sister's peerage. After watching it he was confident that he did the right thing, he would be giving the green light to Maria for her to implement the ritual so as to make Ace slowly more and more loyal to Mio as time passes. With luck, by the end of the six months, the human would be so loyal that he would accept joining Mio's peerage when he managed to give her one.

The second 'group' that managed to watch over the fight was none other than Serafall. She has done basically the same as Sirzechs when it comes to how many surveillance videos there were, the two acting the same way regarding this only that Serafall took it a step further by putting those cameras in the bathroom too so she could watch Sona when she was taking a bath.

Serafall was a pervert, pure and simple.

However, what interested her more right now was not the black lace panties Sona was wearing (even if Serafall had taken a picture of Sona wearing it and was using it as the wallpaper of her phone) but instead on the powers that Ace showed. Despite her 'tendencies' Serafal was still the devil that was responsible for dealing with Foreign Affairs she knew how perilous her race's situation was. Any potential help to improve their power was of utmost necessity as most pantheons would like to see them destroyed and if not for Sirzechs and Ajuka it might have already happened.

But now the Hindu Pantheon was also getting annoyed with them, and if they wanted to end the Devil race then it would be as easy as waving away a fly.

For Serafall any possible chance of improving their race in power was paramount and, as such, she got some interest in Ace who had unique powers to him. Perhaps a visit to talk with him and get a feel of him would not go amiss.

The final group watching was the fallen angels or, to be more precise, Azazel. Since the fuck up that was Raynare and her merry band of idiots Azazel had obtained some unique information regarding the one who handed them their sorry asses. Azazel, as a scientist, was highly interested on how exactly Ace's powers worked and wanted to see more of it, that he has shown powers completely different to the ones that those four had reported was something that piqued his interests further. Azazel wondered if this was a sacred gear, but if so which one, how it worked, why did it seem to have completely changed, and what the fuck was that little sun was beyond him and he could not contain himself from wanting to investigate it, right then and there.

On his side Vali had watched the fight and also got some interest. Ace was still much weaker than him but he could potentially be an opponent later on. It was something to look forward to so he would sense someone from his team to take a look. Who knows, maybe he could become a challenge.

Meanwhile Ace was moving with Rias to a room on the old school building. When they got there Ace was about to speak when Rias started taking off her clothes.

Ace was speechless seeing this and Rias spoke.

"A bet is a bet, but you cannot kiss me nor touch me there, that is something I will not allow." She said hotly and Ace groaned at this.

Facepalming Ace asked.

"... Are you dumb?"

"Huh?"

"I asked if you are dumb." Ace said again, this time she blushed.

"W-What you mean? Wasn't it because of this that you did that bet?" She asks and he rolled his eyes.

"Of fucking course not. I won't fucking force a girl into basically selling her body to me, I am not a sleazebag pervert." Ace said. "So take your mind out of whatever gutter it is right now, if you want to fuck so much I wouldn't really mind, but if this is not your objective here then put your clothes back on and listen."

Rias, hearing this, quickly put her clothes back on and blushed even further as she thought of what she just did. Thankfully she hadn't taken out her panties, that would have been worse. Ace, meanwhile, had to admit that she did have a good body, a piece of art really, but he wouldn't abuse her and demand sex as payment for beating up those she consider like family.

After putting her clothes back she gazed at him.

"So? What exactly you want from me if not that?"

"I want you to show me some of your power of destruction." He said and she looked surprised.

"My power of destruction?"

"Yeah, it shouldn't be that big of a deal. Just create an orb of it and let it float in front of me." Ace said and Rias nodded.

Creating the said orb she let it float in front of Ace who concentrated on that orb. Trying the same process he did to create Nehan he took out a piece of his own soul and tried to fuse it with that orb.

However, that did not work.

The moment his soul approached the orb it was destroyed. Ace furrowed his brows, this would prove a bigger problem than he expected since this power of destruction seemed able to destroy souls too.

Truly, an overpowered skill, and Ace got even more desire to obtain it. The ability to destroy souls, that could be a potential game-changer when it was time to deal with the matters of Soul Society.

However, he would not try and make one with his soul anymore. Those with his soul would become stronger, true, but he could not and would not try and push it when there was every chance it would only lead to more and more of his soul being destroyed on the experiment.

Instead, he had a thought and decided to try it out. Looking at Rias he spoke.

"I will try something now, what I am about to do is for the sake of this experiment and will not truly hurt you in any way." Ace said and before Rias could react Ace concentrated all his Conqueror's Haki and mixed it with the power over souls from the Soru Soru no Mi, using it all on Rias at once.

For Rias, it was an absolutely terrifying experience. Like if death itself was in front of her and she fell on her butt with sheer terror in her eyes. Taking advantage of this chance Ace took a fragment of Rias' soul, around the lifespan of one year. For a devil like Rias that could live for at least the next fifty thousand years if not more this would hardly be a problem.

With the piece of her soul in his hands Ace deactivated his Haki, exhaustion flooding his being as he used most of the Haki energy he still had after the fight into this, he had to make extra sure she would feel the emotion he needed if he was to be able to take out this piece of her soul.

Ignoring Rias' state on the ground Ace turned to the flickering ball of Power of Destruction. With a push, he put Rias' soul fragment into it and the flickering stopped.

Instead of flickering the ball solidified and changed shape to that of a red bat.

"Hello, Papa. What is my name?" The manifestation of Rias' soul asked and Ace was about to speak when he heard some sniffing.

Looking down Ace finally noted the state Rias was in. Ace clearly terrified her far too much, the power of the soul fruit mixed with Conqueror's Haki was not something Ace had experimented on yet so he did not know how it would work exactly.

The result? Rias' very soul was terrified as it sensed it utter weakness and powerlessness, combined that with the intent of scaring the living shit out of Rias and the end result was the ginger girl becoming the mess she was now. Sniffing on the ground, trying to contain her tears of fear and embarrassment while she even let some of her piss escape her in her terror and there was some vomit on the side.

She was a mess and Ace scratched his head seeing this. He might have been a bit overly cruel there, he could agree to that. Then a thought passed him, what if someone like Sirzechs were to found out the state he let Rias in?

The result? Ace would not even be dust in the wind, or the red-haired Satan might let some dust just so he can piss all over it.

In other words, not pleasant.

Crouching down to her level Ace created the healing fire from the Phoenix and let it close to her. She was not injured, not really, but the healing fire was quite unique. This fire was made to soothe others, it could calm down a raging beast or heal the body of others quite easily. In truth, Ace wondered if he could produce Phoenix Tears, but he had yet to test this to see if it was even possible.

As the fire took its effects Rias' breathing calmed down, her clothes dried up and Ace then proceeded to clean the corner of her mouth that still had some bile in it. After all that Rias was finally able to recompose herself enough to ask.

"What was that?"

"'That' was a necessary step to complete my experiment." Ace said as he waved the little bat made of Power of Destruction to come over. "I present you my second homie, I didn't decide its name yet but it will one day become extremely strong." Ace said confidently and Rias looked at it in surprise.

"This, is it made of Power of Destruction?"

"Yep."

"But, but only those with the Bael bloodline can use or control this power." Rias said and Ace shrugged.

"Not anymore. Now this little girl can do it too. Hey, want to name it?" Ace asked and Rias barely even heard his words, her mind trying to comprehend what was just done.

"How did you make this?" She asks as, in her eyes, this was an elemental, a race that was made out of an element and those are extremely rare and powerful. She might have seen Ace do the same to create Nehan, but she didn't really stop to think about it as she was too concerned for her peerage to pay attention to this sort of thing.

Ace, after some deliberation, decided that he might as well explain it.

He would be using this fruit a lot and he knew that whatever happens would be spread eventually regardless of what Ace does. He knew that something like that was inevitable and he didn't really overly worry about this as this would make others think that this is Ace's main ability while in fact he has many other possible ones. Even right now he could change himself into a Buddha, into living Ice, into poison, and more. If others think that his only skill is soul control then he could get possible enemies unaware.

Besides, if Rias only came out with the information that Ace now had a way to control and use Power of Destruction but not an explanation as to how then who knows what the devil rave, and especially the Bael clan, would do.

If he instead revealed that he took a small fragment of Rias' soul/life span to create it then Sirzechs would still be pissed but at least the Bael clan wouldn't react quite as badly... probably.

"I am currently able to control souls. What I did earlier was take a small fragment of your soul, the equivalent of about 6 months or so of your life span which is honestly nothing much, and used it to control the power of destruction you created. As it is your soul inside this power of destruction the construct was able to be perfectly created without an issue and I control the soul itself so there is no issue." Ace explained. As the bat moved it began to rub it's head at Ace's hand as if it was an actual pet and Ace chuckled. "This is quite a cute thing, won't you say?"

Rias was speechless at this, not knowing what to say at all. It was not every day you hear someone saying they can do something as absurd as controlling souls, heck the most the supernatural in general is able to do is seal a soul, God being able to use a soul as energy source in sacred gears was already exceptional. However, controlling souls could and likely was, in Rias' mind, even more absurd in terms of what that could potentially entail. Not knowing what to do she could only look at the bat and patted it.

When she did so she sensed the closeness it had to herself and smiled, liking this bat very much.

"It is adorable, can I have it."

"Hell no, this one is mine." Ace said, if he were to give away a homie with the power of destruction it would be a huge loss, the power of destruction was effective even against souls and it would most likely be very useful when he gets to Soul Society and whatever the fuck else goes down later on.

"This was made with a piece of my soul, shouldn't it belong to me then?" She said and Ace scoffed.

"If you want one then you can go and make one yourself."

"But I can't do it." Rias said.

"That sounds like a 'you' problem than a 'Ace' problem." Ace said cheekily and Rias fumed.

"You just made me feel so bad just now and you now are refusing me like that, you are a terrible man." She said.

"Well, if it makes it any better then know that I will never again do something that will make you feel that bad ever again." Ace said, in his head, he completed the sentence 'Because your brother would kill me if I were to do it.'

"Humph, I bet you say this to all girls."

"No, I say this to you." 'Because I freaking fear your brother a lot.'

Rias froze a bit hearing this and began to play with some of her hair.

"I, I see. Well, you owe me one then." She declares and Ace sighs. He could just say no, but if she were to go crying for her brother because of this then there won't even be ashes left of Ace of the aftermath. No, maybe there would be some ashes just so Sirzechs could piss all over them, he looked like the petty type to Ace.

"Very well, any one request that is not too absurd." Ace said.

"Then, become a member of my peerage." She said and Ace looks at her as if she was dumb.

"Girl, just a bit of your life span isn't nearly worth me giving myself for an eternity of servitude without a paycheck. Hell no." Ace said.

"I would treat you well." Rias said.

"What part of what I said didn't you understand, the 'Hell' or the 'No'?" Ace said and Rias slumps.

"Fine, not like I could just expect a magical solution for my problem?" Rias said.

"Well, to be fair I do have a solution." Ace said, when Ace said this Rias turned to him with eyes lighting up in hope.

"You do?"

"Yeah, if you want this as your payment then I won't mind." Ace said. "But, fair warning, I can only do it tomorrow."

"Sure, if you can save me from this marriage, then I accept anything." Rias said.

Ace nodded, giving her his hand for a handshake. Rias, seeing this, smiled and went to take his hand but flinched at the memory of what Ace just did to her.

Ignoring the messages and not wanting to waste time Ace just took her hand and shook.

"Then it is settled, I will give you a way out of this marriage." Ace said and Rias blushed a storm.

In Ace's mind, however, he only thought.

'But, I am not sure you will like it. I mean, sure it will 100% work but if you will even want it I am not sure.' Chuckling inside Ace smiled at Rias, happy he now had a second powerful homie.

Turning to said bat he just pointed to his shoulder. The homie didn't hesitate to go to it and sat there happily.

"What name you think would be good?" Ace asked, figuring that, as it has Rias' soul, then she might as well name it.

"How about Hakai?" Rias said as Hakai sounded good and it was Japanese for Destruction.

"Thank you for the name, Mama." Hakai said before turning to Ace. "Can we go home now, Papa? I want to take a nap."

Ace chuckled, figuring that this little guy took the lazy aspect of Rias.

As for Rias, she began to splutter something or another and ran away, Ace just shrugged at this.

Ace categorically pretended not to see this last notification. After studying this affection parameter stuff he figured that as long as it is not too high then it would not have any large effect and would not even count as a crush. It would only mean something potentially serious from the 50 points and forward. As such, for as long as nothing terrible happens to Rias or, dead God forbids, she becomes truly attracted to him in a romantic way, then the red siscon Satan won't try and delete his existence from the world out of jealously.

Due to her brother reaching heights unheard off amongst devils much expectation was put on Rias since young, expectations which she could not fulfill due in part to her own laziness but, most importantly, for how exagerated those expectations were. Due to how she could not fulfill those expectations no matter how much she tried she simply gave up on trying, not seeing a point to training when she could never be as great as people expected from her. Now her father want to force her into a marriage with the son of a friend of his, a son that carries similar ways of thinking to Rias' own father. Rias hates this very idea since she doesn't want to go through what her mother goes through nor wishes to marry someone who she doesn't love nor respects her, openly saying he would make her produce many kids for his own glory. With no help from her family or friends due to politics she is ready to do just about anything to get out of her marriage but her defeatist personality hampers her. She thinks that you may be able to help her be able to defeat this bleak future that is pressing down on her.]

Nothing much happens, but we see that the world is starting to notice Ace and he now has a new homie.

One made of Power of Destruction!

Hahahaha, the MC now knows he can make Homies out of unique powers like those, that means even stuff like Time power from the Agares clan, the Worthless power of the Belial, the light power of Angels, and more.

Hell, the more I think about it the more I realize that the Soul fruit in somewhere like DxD can be broken as all fuck. And Ace will abuse it to hell and back, especially considering this world is mixed with Bleach.

Fuck the Qincies' spiritual manipulation, Ace can owe them easily in their little control game.

Anyway, I have a question that is very important. Rias, I COULD add her to the harem, very easily in fact, but should I? I mean, Isane has already come to a decision regarding her gear and that I plan to deal with possibly on the next two or so chapters.

Anyway, it is up to you guys. There are previous reviews asking for her, some asking not to add her, so I will make this fair.

I will count what you all say in reviews and the one that has more will be what is decided.

Also, Rias got a great and terrible deal with Ace just now. Ace has a sure-fire way to get her out of the marriage, no questions asked, but if Rias will like the end result or not is up in the air.
