Prologue

Reincarnated as a Villainess in the Otome game, Lydia Asher expected it to be more challenging but realizing that this Villain doesn't have any death flags, She lived her life as the wealthy heiress of an archdukedom but then immediately she remembered that the reason she was the villainess wasn't because she was against the heroine but because the heroine had to steal all the men who liked her. So now she is in an exceptionally troublesome predicament.

" Lya, May I have this dance? " Asked the Duke of the Franccs duchy

" My Lya wouldn't ever go with you " Argued the Imperial General "

She isn't yours! " Said the Heroine who was her supposed ' enemy ' according to the script

Why are they fighting about me?, shouldn't the Heroine already have captured their hearts why Are they still trying to fight over me?! And miss Heroine you should be my enemy what has gotten into all of you!?

Lydia wanted to live her once carefree life in peace but now with all these Major Characters butting in she wouldn't be able to do that.

' Scum! Jerks! Bastards! ' Lydia thought as she watched them all keep fighting for her even the Heroine!

Lydia's POV:

I opened my eyes and adjusted them to the bright interior of the room I was currently in, I felt comfortable in this very soft and cloud-like bed.

' Wait, I'm in the office how could I even be in a bed? ' I thought as I got up and looked around the room panicked, it looked like it came from the Victorian era with intricate designs and gold on the walls. I looked straight ahead of me and saw a photo of a beautiful porcelain-skinned girl with golden curly locks of hair and emerald eyes.

The girl in the portrait was sitting up straight in a beautiful and well-designed king-sized bed with jewels and intricate designs carved in wood, I then noticed the girl moved.

I tilted my head and the girl did the same, I raised my right hand to my cheek and she followed.

' Is that me?! but I don't look like this and how am I even in this room ' I thought as I got off the bed and walked towards the portrait? mirror?

When I was in front of it I noticed it was actually a mirror seeing as the girl? myself? moved exactly how I did. I still couldn't believe this was me though I mean I have black hair and blue eyes so this couldn't be me right?

' Maybe this is all just a dream, but it is way too realistic ' I thought as I felt myself being able to smell, breathe and see very tiny details.

' Now that I think about it this woman looks like the Villainess from that particular Otome Game everyone was so excited about, and how it was " So Original " '

That Otome Game was called ' Watashi no libar kara watashi no ai no kokoro wo nusumu ' or ' Steal the heart of my love from my Rival ' Its setting was in the Aaish Empire. The Heroine named Alina Renata was the daughter of a count whose wealth was similar to a duke, Alina grew up with a golden spoon in her mouth.

The Heroine almost drowns in a lake but luckily is saved by the servants, she went into a 5-day coma and while she was in a coma she suddenly remembered her past life. Her past life was very similar to this one in fact they were the same, but in that life, a day after she woke up from her coma she met five men who saved her while she was suddenly lost in the forest back in her estate.

She fell for the five men and when she was finally allowed to attend social gatherings, she tried to get all the information she could get her hands on about those five. It turned out that all five of them were very wealthy heirs or heavily successful. It turned out that those five were actually in love with / loved Lydia Asher the ' Flower of High Society ' was the daughter of the archduke and was very talented, loved, and graceful.

In that life she tried getting the attention of the five men she loved, she worked hard and made herself be like Lydia so maybe then they would pay attention to her. That lead to her downfall although Lydia never blamed her people of High Society mocked her for trying to become like Lydia and the five men she loved all ignored her.

Then finally she died in the hands of one of Lydia's followers as they loathed her for wanting to become like Lydia and thought that it would be best to get rid of her.

Alina woke up from her coma and then decided that she would never try to imitate Lydia as she should be her own person and the men she loved should love her for who she is, she never blamed Lydia for her death as Lydia never wished her with ill intent as she was kind but she vowed revenge on one of Lydia's followers as they killed her.

After she remembered her past life Alina still tried her best to be one of the greatest in the Empire, she succeeded in that then she tried getting the hearts of the men she loved it was difficult as Lydia's followers kept getting in the way but eventually, she succeeded and lived a happy life after getting revenge on Lydia's followers.

There were actually many different settings and options like making it have a school setting like how a lot of Otome Games do it, actually in the game there was magic but I didn't play it so I don't even know how much involvement magic has or the settings I heard it from my friends and co-workers

' So this Villainess actually doesn't have death flags? I could live a carefree life then... Lydia was only considered a Villainess due to the fact her followers kept getting in the Heroine's way but she never knew about it. I remember hearing that The Otome Game had many settings and I heard there was a modern one but I'm sure that I'm not in that setting seeing how my room is designed '

I hope this setting actually has magic so I could witness it with my own eyes, but I still can't accept the fact that I'm apparently in a game does that mean I'm not real?

* sigh *

My body looks young I guess my age would be 11 years old in this body. I snapped out of my thoughts when I suddenly heard someone knocking on the door.

* knock *

" Young miss, may I enter? " A voice that came from outside the door asked, I'm guessing she means me as I'm the only one here

I quickly ran to the bed and got on it as fast as I could I didn't wanna act suspicious to anybody so I should barely interact with them.

" You may enter, " I said in a monotone voice making sure it was loud enough to hear from outside the door.

The door opened and revealed a green-haired woman with peach-colored eyes carrying a tray filled with refreshments, The woman bowed at a 90-degree angle and asked me " May I rise milady? "

" Yes, you may rise " I responded, the woman stood up properly and looked shocked at my answer and fell into a daze so I wonder if the original Lydia ever responded like how I did. Did I perhaps make a mistake already?

" What's the time and date? " I asked her, the woman fell out of her daze and quickly responded to my question.

" The 7th day of August 1842 4:34 PM milady " Huh so they have similar dates and times to earth? This is interesting.

* BANG *

Suddenly a loud sound was heard from the closed door, when was it closed? well, anyways I saw-
