1 Chapter 1: The Beginning

Fantasies are often pictured as the 'epitome of a perfect world' by both young and old alike as a lot of things and happenings that are deemed impossible could be possible in the realm of fantasy.

Existence of magic? Possible.

The existence of angels and demons? Possible.

Even the existence of flying pigs which is considered to be one of the most ridiculous ideas could also be possible.

Although there are certain records in human history about the existences of these kinds of stuff, nobody could still prove their existences as these records had been passed down from generation to generation and the credibility of these records couldn't be proven as people tend to create various versions of what they've known which is also the case for the records involving unbelievable existences of what we deemed impossible.

This is the reason why the existence of those mentioned above could be considered as the product of human imagination: fantasy.

Maybe the result of our imagination might be real and existed. Well, who knows?

It was another normal day. As for fine, it was still unknown whether the day would turn out to be fine or not but Naomi hoped it would.

It was still early in the morning which is why the hallway was so quiet that even the footsteps of a single person could be clearly heard.

A girl dressed up in a maid outfit was walking down the hallway and when she passed by a certain door, she stopped and went to knock.

The knock reverberated around the hallway but there was still no response nor any signs of movements inside the room that can be heard.

After a while of silence, Lillian, the maid, decided to knock once again on the door but there was still no response. Thus, she decided to enter the room.

What greeted her was a maximalist room that was shrouded in darkness as the heavy curtains covered the large windows and completely blocked the sunshine to illuminate the room.

Lillian went to the window situated on the left side of the room where one of the heavy curtains had been hanging and opened the curtain.

The sunlight that had been completely blocked off the room was now able to enter and illuminate the room.

As the sunlight illuminated up the room, the room was unable to keep its silence as a grumble could be heard.

The grumble came from the person, a woman, lying on the bed.

She was originally facing the direction of the window when the light coming from outside the window disturbed her sleep. She turned to sleep facing the right side of the bed as she grabbed the duvet and covered her whole self with it.

Lillian couldn't help but sigh when she saw her actions. She went near the bed and grabbed the duvet, once again revealing the woman and the sun shined on her.

"Young Miss, it's time to wake up," Lillian said while holding the part of the duvet she had grabbed.

The woman seemed to be irritated as a frown formed on her face and grumbled as her eyes remain shut despite the disturbance.

"Today's the Flower Festival. Lady Camilla has ordered us to attend to you early in the morning."

The woman laid on her back as she sprawled on the bed.

"Today's the Flower Festival?" She asked while remaining motionless on the bed and her eyes fully closed.

"Yes, Young Miss," Lillian said respectfully.

There was silence and after a while, the woman in the bed slowly opened both of her drowsy almond eyes which revealed a deep black pupil and chestnut iris. As the sunlight shone on her, her exquisite and enchanting face revealed itself. Her skin was fair which made the rosy color of her cheeks more visible as well as her rosy bow-turned lips and on her face was a pointed nose.

People who saw her couldn't help to stop and stare at her eye-catching beauty and Lillian, who has been by her side for several years, is no exception.

"Alright. I'll get up in a minute."

Lillian nodded and went to prepare the things the woman lying in the bed would need. It took her a while to prepare everything.

She went back to the room and saw that the duvet, which was originally messed up as she grabbed it earlier, was now covering a certain person's body. She couldn't help but sigh at the person's actions.

"Young Miss, you really need to get up."

Being disturbed once again, she couldn't help but grumble again.

"Seriously, what's with the rush? The same event happen every year and there's nothing new into it." She said with annoyance in her sleepy voice.

"The old madam is going to attend the flower festival together with your mother and father." Lillian said, acting like she haven't heard the woman's complain.

At the mention of the two words which wrte 'old madam', the woman immediately sprung up from her laying position and went to sit with her drowsy eyes that she forced to open wide.

"Why didn't you say so?!" The woman complained and immediately got down from her bed and headed towards the direction of the bathroom.

'God knows how terrifying that woman is.' She thought as she hurried up with her preparations to take a bath.

From behind her, a joyful chuckle could be heard in the room.

Author's Note:

Hello, everyone! I've been too focused on watching anime these days that I almost forgot to post the draft I've made (I'm currently watching fairy tail and I'm still on episode 50+ something) 😂 Anyways, this is a new chapter one. I've posted eight chapters for this novel but when I was writing the ninth chapter, a new idea came up to me that I ended up deleting the eight chapters and started to write again from the first chapter though there are still parts from the original chapters that will remain. Aside from that, I was actually thinking of stopping to write this novel but when I think of the drafts I've written, I decided to continue this. I'm sorry for the trouble and I hope that you would support this novel of mine!
