Power couple

Everyone in this city recognize the couple and they protected them like they are the ruler of this place. He remembered when he first got into this city after Dylan and his wife left his mansion, he tried to ask where they live and if they recognize them. The people look at him in a cautious manner and they avoid from getting close to him. They didn't even bother to answer his question. Some even manage to chase him away with a broom or baseball bat. In the end, he had to call Dylan because the everyone is trying to make him leave the city without any reason and even reported him to the police which got him arrested. The moment he saw Dylan came to bail him out, each and everyone of them treat him with respect. When he asked Dylan about this, Dylan only chuckled. He said it was because of his wife. She made them rich by letting them become part of the shareholder or part of the team in their own company. Every shop that developed vastly there it was all because of his wife free consultation. While he handles the small companies there, his wife has been busy making the city turn into a tourism spot. She even made some interesting rule for the tourist who wanted to go there. No cars. Either get to know with the locals there so that they can guide you or they will be stuck at the same spot. The city that most of the elderly people stays while the young ones went to other places is finally lively with the return of their young ones when they heard from their parent or grandparent about the new jobs and how the city finally developed to better place maintaining the sacred greens there. Because of this, the people here always protect them wherever they go and wouldn't like it if some strangers asked about Dylan and Lyla. Both of the couple like to maintain their low profile life that's why they want to keep it that way for them.

When Braxton heard Dylan's explanation at that time, he thought Dylan was joking. As it turn out, he can see what Dylan meant after going to K city back and forth. It was peaceful despite the tourist come and goes but there's something else that attracts other tourist to this city. It's how they keep the traditional way alive. Braxton knew Dylan married the right person. It's what people say, behind every man's success there's his queen.

"Your family still can't accept your marriage with her?" It was a pity if Dylan's family let go of this diamond. Lyla is not just any other woman. If she wants to, she can even surpass Dylan with her ways of doing things. But Lyla isn't someone who's greedy. She only do it for other people to enjoy the wealthy life. And the people here also knew this but they still keeping their head low because money is not everything for them.

"It's just like Lyla said, they can hate her but they will come to love their grandchild. But i don't have any plan to meet them with their grandchild if they still can't accept my wife."

"Then what are planning to do about that woman?" Braxton asked grudgingly. Because of that woman, he destroy his friendship with Dylan in the past. Thankfully he manage to reconcile with Dylan. After finding out the truth about what happen back then, he still can't believe he fall under that woman's foolish trap. Dylan's eye darken when he heard the question.

"I'm fishing. Waiting for the real fish to take the bait. For now, i have my pregnant wife to worry about. I'm sure you'll help me while i'm busy with my queen's demand."

"Damn you Dylan. Must you show your happily ever after marriage life to me?"

"I am happy. You should get married also. If you ever found one." He tease Braxton before going to the kitchen to get his wife. Braxton was annoyed with his attitude. Bragging just because he got married before him and cursing him to be single for his entire life. He'll show it to him one day. Someone that can stand by his side also. Someone who won't be emotionally unstable with demanding cravings when she's pregnant. Never did he know his wish will come true one day except he regretted the day his wife announced she was pregnant .
