First move

The competition between other companies is pretty aggressive. Each represent the newest security system that will change the whole country. Even big companies like Grandeur and Wright Empire send their representative. However no matter how strong their securities are it was futile. At the end of the stage, LHD company starts attacking each and everyone of their systems in just an hour. The most humiliating part is when LHD decided to attack Grandeur company and it only took them only 10 minutes to breach their securities. In the end, none dare to compete with LHD after seeing how their hardwork turns into a laughingstock. LHD company manage to win the IRIS Project which become the talk of the town. Everyone starts to pay attention to the small company and until today, they still couldn't believe someone could create such a complicated security system. Now, they're trying to investigate who's the daring CEO that manage to defeat them and humiliate Grandeur company. On that day, they only send their representative to present their system. Yet they dare to offend the big company. All of them wonder how Grandeur company would retaliate. They were expecting the downfall of LHD but surprisingly, after three weeks LHD still standing strong as if no one dare to approach it nor done anything to it. Usually Grandeur Company would payback 10 times fold if some small company dare to offend them. Silently, all other companies start to feel amazed and even seek for a collaboration with them. But to their disappointment, they were blatantly rejected. They still praise LHD company as their stock are the same with the big company. They start looking at them as the newest rival that need to be watch out for. Hide if one is unable to beat them.

Things are not looking great in Grandeur Company. Jacob have been thrashing the office ever since they lost so badly in the IRIS Project. He still couldn't believe the system that he and his team worked hard for few months were easily breached and from the small company called LHD. No one knew about this company at all. But to humiliate them so badly, he send out a team to brankrupt the company. Unfortunately, they aren't able to touch them as the information that they have on them are so little. They can't even locate their exact location. The pressure that he received from his family and the board, is suffocating him. If only Lyla was here. She could easily solve all of this. If it wasn't for that idiot uncle of his, Lyla wouldn't be able to escape easily. Now, their stocks are plummeting. They've been struggling so badly ever since Lyla left and manage to hold on until now. But after their ugly defeat in IRIS Project, Jacob realize only Lyla can help them. In doing so, they need to find Lyla as soon as possible. This time, they're not going to let her escape so easily.

On the other side of another city, two people were eating their dinner at the restaurant late at night. Enjoying the calmness and the glory three weeks ago. Alexander and Brittany already left after they're done eating, claiming they couldn't stand looking at them both. Lyla and Dylan just smile.

"Hubby, i heard your family are looking for you. And i also know someone is trying to find your whereabouts. What's even interesting, your ex-fiancee is looking for you. Anything i should know about?" Lyla asked slowly. While she was observing his other ventures, she happen to notice a lot of movement from his family, his arch enemy and especially his ex-fiancee.

"Won't it be easier if you just hack your way to gain the info that you want? Why are you asking me this?"

"Hurmmm... I guess i'm being lazy at the moment. Since you're here, might as well i listen to your charming voice." Dylan snorted.

"I wouldn't worry about my family. They just feels regret for trying to threatened me. And i'm too annoyed to let them know anything. For that guy, he's just bored. Looking for me to settle some scores. He insists i owe him because his sister died because of me when in fact she commit suicide just because i rejected her. For that ex, i don't even know why she's still looking for me. She must have another motive which i can't think of at the moment."

"Yeah, it seems she's working with some dangerous people. Don't know what's her relationship between them."

"Then, can i bother you to look out for her? Women can be vicious. Their brains work in a different way." Lyla squinted at him.

"Are you talking about me, husband?" Dylan just smile mockingly.

"I wonder." he said. She knew she was behaving weirdly lately. She don't know why but lately she insist on adding more rooms in their small house and even ask Dylan to call someone to expand the house a bit just so she can have big kitchen facing the hill. She even stopped cooking for their meal and prefer to eat elsewhere asides from her own restaurant. She thought because her boredom just finally kicked in and it was normal for her. But she have to admit, she did demand a lot of things lately. It will pass by, hopefully. Or is it because...she just realize something when she look at the calendar. Feeling surprised and happy, she decided to stay quite before telling him. She needed a definite answer. Wonder how would he react. She can't wait for tomorrow to come.
