1 [chapter one]
My name is Alex Will and I am fifteen years old. I live with my two dads and my older brother. My first dad, Steve, is a police officer and my other dad, Jake, is a lawyer. My brother, Benjamin Will, he is 2 years older than me, so we get along pretty well. My school life was fine, I had friends, and everyone loved me. Everything was fine until... my Steve got a transfer in a different town. So, we had to move with means new school, new life. Our new house was pretty close to the school. "BEN!! Where's my leggings?!!" I yelled across the house.
"IDFK!!" He yelled back.
ITS IN YOUR SECOND DRAWER" Steve said, joining the conversation. Our mornings can get a little busy sometimes.
The school uniform was very simple. White shirt with a pocket of the school logo with a baby blue tie. Checked skirt for girls and shorts for boys. There was a winter uniform too. Skirts were always impossible for me because I HATE revealing too much skin, so I added quarter black leggings. I skated on my board, listening to music on my headphones, while Ben and made our way to school. As soon as we got closer to the school Ben suddenly got separated from me because of the huge crowd. Everyone was looking at something. It looked like a fight.
"HE FINALLY BROKE UP WITH THE RECENT ONE!" I heard in the distance. I quickly fought my way to front to see what was happening. It was a breakup. A girl had slapped a boy and she walked out. He quietly stood there looking at the ground.
Suddenly he looked up and everyone went back to what they were doing. As the crowd cleared, I saw Ben on the other side. He looked at me and make a weird face, I did the same. Out of the blue, a hippy looking boy appeared from nowhere. He was tall, dyed pink hair, ear piercings and had a flirty grin. I'm pretty short so he had to bend down to get to my level. "Hi, I find your face adorable, is that your boyfriend your making that face to?" He said.
"No that's my— "I tried to point out.
"friends? Come on you gotta be kidding, who got friend zoned? You? Him?" He interrupted.
"Brother, he's my brother..." I cleared.
"Oh my... sorry I didn't know, nice to meet you, I'm Keven. You new here?" He checked me out and as soon as he looked down, to my leggings he said, "OH MY GOD… YOU CANNOT WEAR THOSE TRAGIC LEGGINGS, MIGHT AS WELL GET EXPELLED!!"
"well I'm not taking them off, nice to meet you too, I'm Alex, I'm new here, what year are you in?" I asked.
"Oh, things work different around here, it's a bit complicated... let me tell you how it works— "he started explaining. He told me that there are two buildings, one for seniors and another one for juniors. So basically, usually we have high school from year 7-12 altogether. Here they have junior building, 8-10, Area A and senior building, 11-12, Area B. Ben was in year 11 which means I wouldn't be able to see him all the time as he is was placed in Area B.
Soon enough, when me and my new 'friend?' were walking to class we got interrupted by a mean looking lady, Keven whispered "this is Mrs Garold, she is in charge of the uniforms, our school is very strict with uniforms as I warned you before" she looked down to my leggings and told me to go immediately take them off. I refused, and she insisted but I was firm and there was no way I would take them off. She grabbed my hand and dragged me the principal's office. I sat down, as he sighed while she complained about me. I didn't even do anything. Keven was outside, waiting for me. Mrs Garold finished her speech and barged out of the room, she was Keven and yelled at him for waiting for me and not going to class.
I looked at the principal and I started, "look, I'm so sorry today is my first day and didn't know about the harsh unifo––"
"okay I get it, I completely understand." He assured. I sighed with relief but then said, "but you still have to follow our policies which means you HAVE to be on perfect school uniform. Which means no leggings to long socks the highest it can get is just below the knees… do you understand, Miss Will?" I sat there in shock, I said
"yes, I understand" I didn't want to cause any more trouble for Steve and Jake, so I gave in.
I, then got taken to my class where I saw Keven sitting with a bunch of people, he looked at me and winked and patted on the seat next to which was empty. I was about to walk to him, but the teacher stopped me and said "hello, you must new… would you like to introduce yourself to the class? I'm Mr Will.
"umm, hi my name is Alex Will. Uhm I like skate and do art, I hope we get along…" everyone stared at me while I made eye contact with Keven.
"very cool… we have the same last name, please grab a seat, it seems you already made a friend." Mr Will announced, I smirked and made my way towards Keven.
The whole day I stayed with Keven and he told me everything I need to know. 4 main rules.
R 1: no bullying or fighting (the staff can't be bothered dealing with this stuff).
R 2: perfect uniform (the school must look good)
R 3: stay in your Area, no loitering around in different Areas.
R 4: no physical relationships in the school grounds.
I thought 'hmm this will be easy, I'm in no interest into humans so R 1,3 and 4 would be super easy but R 2 would a bit difficult'.
After the day ended Keven and I went to the front gate together. We exchanged numbers ironically Ben saw us, he creeped up on me and gently pushed me towards Keven. I bumped into Keven and immediately pushed myself back. Ben giggled, "already pickin up guys huh Alex?" he asked.
"the fuck? No! We're just friends!" I claimed.
"oh hi! I'm Keven, you must be the older brother…" Keven added.
"are you sure yall not datin this guy is pretty hot, if you don't want him I'll have him." Ben smirked.
"What?!! Nah I can't date anyone right now, especially not this one, I'll break her (Lmao), besides I have a girlfriend… she'll be here any moment now." Keven waited.
A minute later a fancy car came by it stopped right in front of us. The door opened and out came from the driver's seat, a super-hot girl. She was wearing everything expensive. Blond haired, blue eyed skinny model like beauty came up to us and Keven grabbed her waist a gently kissed her. Me and Ben was mesmerised.
"are these your new friends Kev? Hey, I'm Alysa, you must've seen Kev and me around…" she said.
"I'm sorry I don't quite understa––"I tried to tell her.
"babe… lets go home, okay? I'll introduce them next time… see you guys tomorrow" Keven interrupted as he glared at Alysa.
"alright then it was a pleasure to meet you guys. See you next time" Alysa confirmed as the walked towards the car and drove off.
"dammmnn, Alex, what's up with your friend and his girl. They're both equally hot" Ben exclaimed as I skated, and he walked our way back home.
"I don't know–- HOLY FUCK BEN LOOK AT THAT BILLBOARD." ME AND Ben just stared at the billboard. It was Keven and Alysa. They're models. Holy shit I made friends with a hot model.
