1 Chapter One
"Congratulations Lex! You get to be in the best defence Forse ever!" Lex's friend said, patting him on the back.
"Naturally, it was too easy. I can't even fail if I try." Lex coldly replied, packing up his stuff.
"..." This jerk is so conceited but can't beat him up, feels so angry.
The war between human and zerg has started, and alot of capable alphas and betas signed up to join the army.
As a living breathing alpha, Lex had no excuse not to join, but he wanted to sleep at home all day, lazing around, not carrying the weight of a leader.
But as unenthusiastic as he was, he couldn't do anything but pack up and go kill them bugs.
The next day, Lex arrived at the Southern walls of the country, where the attacks were most concentrated.
The whole southern city was in chaos, and everyone was rushing around. The solders didn't have time to bother with a new reqruit so they just send an omega to explain.
While omegas have weaker physics, they are exceptionally smart, so most of them worked as informants and strategist. There are also programmers for the mechs that humans have, which are usually powered by an omega.
The omega that came to fetch him had a beautiful face, with wide eyes and long lashes, his eyebrows faint and short but it creates a whimsical look. His lips were thin but red, which makes his pale skin look so much paler.
The moment Lex saw him, his eyes lit up. It seems like coming here was not so bad after all.
The omega clearly saw Lex's heated gaze, yet he still smiled innocently as he takes Lex around the whole camp, like he doesn't know this Alpha has taken a fancy to him.
The omega, Mars was courted everywhere he went, but he has never been with anyone. People say that he might be saving his all for his fated pair, but Mars was just being a gold digging white lotus ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
When he saw Lex, he knew his prey was going to be Lex. Born in a relatively strong household, and Lex himself a great leader who has no weaknesses, if he were to come out of this war alive as a hero, then Mars would live a good life.
Of course, such things cannot go without a backup plan, and his other golden thigh is the current commander of their team, Nikoli Aurum.
Like his last name, Nikoli was always first at everything he does. At only 27, he was appointed to lead a very important team to war, which was the youngest commander in history.
When Nikoli saw Mars with another man, one that clearly has impure motives, he was furious. He wanted to storm out of the meeting room to beat the ish out of that stupidly handsome face.
Nikoli who admitted that the man stealing his omega was handsome, "What?"
The stupidly handsome Lex, "What? "
The omega both of them wanted, "What?"
Of course, he didn't do so, even though he really wanted to, because the war is more important than courting an omega.
Mars glanced at the meeting room, feeling confused. Isn't Nikoli in there? Shouldn't he be rushing out to beat the ish out of Lex and declare his love for me now? He had even purposely lead him to the most obvious place for Nikoli to see!
But since Nikoli didn't come out, Mars couldn't do anything about it, so he continued with the tour.
Hmph, if Nikoli showed such less love to him, seems like he needs to know how important Mars is to him. Mars remembered the incident in his heart, wanting to give Nikoli the cold shoulder as revenge.
