12 Chakra Natures: Part-1

It has been a week since my birthday and finally after many restless days and sleepless nights in anticipation of finally being able to learn about chakra, the day is finally here. The whole thing took a week because father is always busy, even though the war has calmed down a little.

I later figured out that if I hadn't pulled that stunt that day, my dad was going to teach me along with Asuma. I can't wait that long as Asuma only would probably have enough patience to learn when he turns four. Even though I am in a relatively safe place as the hokage's son and in the anime/manga, nothing much happened to the Sarutobis, there is a thing called butterfly effect and it's fucking real. Besides that, I am an explorer. I want to look what lies beyond this continent and how did I come to this world.

Is it possible to alter or affect the space dimension responsible for this plane of existence and keeping it stable among many others, inside only a space of three physical coordinates (i.e, length, breadth and height).? How many worlds are out there.? If I want my questions answered, I need strength. More than anyone.

During the week, aunt Mirchi had come over three times to play with Asuma and I. Well, I say to play with us, but it's really just her treating us like a little girl would her new fluffy toy. Me specially and when I asked the reason, she said that I looked cuter and smaller, then both Asuma's and my heart broke for different reasons.

Apparently, she's been coming because father let her believe that she left early during the birthday party and didn't even get the chance to give me my gift, which is not true. She gave me a set of toy kunais, a common gift during the party.

Other than that, Tsunade has been trying to get my father's secret out of me, but I always change the topic and sometimes take liberties by burying my head in her breasts. Even though I don't feel anything down there yet, I can't help but being curious and compare her's with aunt Mirchi's. She wins by a huge margin. Anyways, she is leaving tomorrow on a mission, so she won't be bothering me anymore.

Since I can't learn a real jutsu for two years, I have decided to focus more on chakra exercise and less on physical training other than jogging and sprinting daily, since I don't wanna stay short when I grow up.

Dad has given me a few medical books to read and offered to find a tutor, but I refused as I have previous life's knowledge and I can ask any doubts to mom as she used to be a medical ninja before retiring. I normally don't like to read, but got motivated when he told me that those books have things directly related to his technique of five elements.

Currently I am standing under a tree in this hot summer day in one of the many unoccupied parks in konoha, with a lake and a lot of trees. Nearly all the parks in konoha have lakes and training grounds have restricted entry to those who are not officially gennin, but besides those which are generally used by gennin, almost all other training grounds are barren with few patches of grass.

Just when I was thinking about how much I hate summer and how uncommon it is for this hot day in the start of summer, I see a shadow walking slowly from the entrance of the park. My father is finally here.

"You are late." I said, disgruntled.

"It took me a while to organize a few things. Anyways, lets start with the leaf exercise as we don't have much time. Only two hours or so." He replied in a monotone voice.

"I can already do the leaf exercise. Even the civilians know about it. As for sensing chakra within my body, I have always been able to do that. just didn't know what it's called. So, you don't have to disturb my chakra flow with yours to help me sense it. Let's start with finding out my chakra nature, now." I said, a little impatient.

He looked surprised and his brow raised a little when I mentioned that I have always been able to sense chakra, but he is a man who has seen many waves and looked mostly unperturbed.

"Is that so, but times are tough and these chakra papers are very precious, so do you mind showing me?" He replied.

"Alright." I then picked up a fallen leaf and put it on the backside of my palm, then raised the hand above my head and simultaneously let go of the other hand. The leaf didn't fall.

"Hmm. Very good. You are diligent, which is a very good quality for a ninja. Now, think of this piece of paper as a leaf and push your chakra outside of your body, while keeping physical chakra, a tad bit greater than spiritual chakra. Somebody's nature of chakra is actually the nature of their physical chakra as spiritual chakra doesn't have a nature. By keeping the physical chakra a little bit greater, you can manifest your nature in it's purest form and we can find out, not only the element you have the highest affinity with, but also the elements you should focus on after you master that element." He said while nodding his head for the first part of the sentence and looked quite serious for the second part.

"Could you explain to me about this whole chakra purity thing.? I don't quite understand." I was a bit confused as it wasn't in the Naruto anime I watched.

"Sure. Lets understand spiritual and physical chakras first. Spiritual chakra pool is located inside your head. It doesn't have a chakra nature and everyone's spiritual chakra is similar, yet it is not the same. It is very mysterious. As for physical chakra, it is located near your heart. It has a chakra nature. Many people have multiple chakra natures, but when they test their chakra nature, they only inject mixed chakra into chakra paper, so the paper only shows the nature they have the highest affinity with. By injecting physical chakra, you can see all your affinities. That would mean that you can see which jutsus of other elements you should master after you master the one you have highest affinity with." He replied.

I have started to understand him on an intimate level and know that whenever he mentions some secret or something dangerous, he would have that face on, so I didn't ask him further.

"I see." I replied while taking the yellowish paper and then pushed a small amount of physical chakra towards my wrist and kept it stationary as I quickly pushed my balanced chakra into the same path.

When the mixed chakra came into contact with the physical charka inside my wrist, it mixed and then the resulting chakra became a little unstable as it was unbalanced, but all I had to do was push, so I pushed it towards the chakra paper through my fingers.

The paper became a tad hotter, almost indistinguishable and wrinkled inwards at the same time. I suppose, I have lightning and fire affinities. More lightning than fire.

"Impressive. I thought it would take at least three chakra papers. Looks like you have the lightning nature. You don't have the fire nature. If you did, then only half of the paper would wrinkle while the other half would burn or at least become hotter. Lightning nature is also the most suitable for my five elements technique." He said while touching the paper, a little impressed as I could see a hint of proud expression flash pass on his face.

"The most suitable, huh. If there is a most suitable one, then there has to be a least suitable one, that means other than a basic amount of medical knowledge, it also has something to do with how one nature of chakra connects to the others, isn't it. In that case, you can at least explain to me the general theory." I said as I came to a realization with an expression as if, I have just unraveled one of the world's most mysterious secrets.

He looked extremely startled for a few seconds, but his expression soon change to hesitation, then praise and finally pride.

"Yes it does. Alright.! I will now explain, so listen carefully as nobody else have realized this." He said in an extremely serious face.
