72 House Rescue

Her clones having finished cleaning up the bodies and calming down her team, Naruko would reach out with her senses and sigh lightly. 'Tazuna and the clone in hiding are fine.'

Watching her team walk towards her, she'd stand up straight dusting off some dirt before pocketing the scroll in her hand, and only then beginning to look over each of them. 'Mhm... At this point, from an emotional standpoint, it's hard to say if I should let them continue the mission or not. Obviously from a practical standpoint, I shouldn't. But that's not very shonen-like. Or, y'know fun. Is mass murder fun? Eh. That's not the point.'

"Alright team. You all look like shit y'know? We have two options - we can continue on this mission as a team, or I can go deal with this while you all start to head home." Yet, the responses were immediate.

"We can't leave you Naruko-sensei!"

"Tch. Aren't we supposed to be a team?"

"I vowed to not leave your side."

Naruko blinked slightly 'Aah! My cute little gremlins!' Widely smiling at them she'd nod her head. "Alright, then team! Let's go pick up Tazuna and go brutally murder dozens more Shinobi!"

Sakura paled, Sasuke grimaced, and Sai simply blinked. "Oh right! Yeah, there's a shit ton more Shinobi. Are you sure you still want to continue the mission?" Sakura hesitantly nodded, Sasuke grunted, and Sai simply began walking back down the road.

"Of course Naruko-sensei. We should perhaps prepare first though."

-A while later, back with Tazuna-

Back on the road, Naruko would begin her questioning. "Tazuna-san, do you know if they're holding your family somewhere?"

He sighed before shaking his head, "No. I was just told what to do. They could be locked up somewhere, or they could be at our house." Naruko would hum at that, thinking. 'If I was them I'd grab the family and have clones henge as them with a rigged house. But they aren't me - they aren't Jinchuriki or chakra monsters.' Slowly thinking it over Naruko would let out a breath of air.

"Alright, here's what we're going to do - we'll make our way to your house without going through any villages or towns. When we get there, I'll send in clones to quietly scout out the place - don't worry your family won't know I'm there. The important part here is that we don't let the Kiri Shinobi know where exactly we are." 'I could just destroy them all, but my worry is Zabuza and Haku. More specifically - if Haku is here. There's legitimately no way to tell how strong he is. Especially when he specifically used extra chakra then needed to fight Sasuke and Naruto, and then aimed to not kill them, and even tried for a long while to not incapacitate them. Especially if he has better training considering at least Zabuza isn't a rogue ninja.'

With a heavy look on her face, Naruko would remain in her lead position, nodding in response to Tazuna's comment that she had tuned out. "Team from here on out you're to remain in a moving manji formation."

"Yes, Sensei!"

-A couple of hours later-

Reaching the edge of the forest Naruko would hold up a hand to stop Tazuna and her team before whispering, "Alright - my clones will go and check things out. We'll wait here." Hands raising up to form a cross seal a poof of smoke appeared before two blurs dashed towards the house only to become invisible as they left the forest. "Now we wait."

-Naruko Clone-

Leaning against the wall of the house, she'd close her eyes and focus. Instantly, her Mind's Eye flared wide open. Focusing in on the house, she'd grimace. 'So there are Explosive Tags everywhere. Poor family.' Focusing in on the chakra signatures inside of the house, she'd gently tap the other clone, before drawing the number '2' on the arm of her fellow clone, before the kanji for seal. Getting a tap back, her fellow clone would begin to 'meld' into the wall with some Earth Style, accurately doing so where it wouldn't trigger an Explosive Tag, which would trigger the rest of them. 'Good luck me!' She popped out of existence.

-2nd Naruko Clone-

Passing through the wall of the house, she'd take a singular step forward, and stop directly before an explosive tag. 'Tch. This is gonna be annoying.' Ever so slowly, Naruko began to maneuver through the house and towards the 2nd floor where the kid and Tsunami were. 'Tsunami? Is her name Tsunami? Pretty damn sure it is.' Getting rid of that thought Naruko would creep forward with every step only narrowly dodging activating the seals that lined the entirety of the house. Getting before the stairs a grimace would form on her invisible face.

'Alright. This is going to be rough.' Taking a deep breath, her eyes would close, and she'd stand perfectly still. The first thing to happen was that her suppressed chakra presence completely disappeared. Then, her nearly silent breath was gone as well. Her weight disappeared, and her nearly impossible-to-smell scent vanished from the world.

For all intents and purposes - with Naruko invisible, she simply didn't exist. Invisible eyes snapped open, and instead of the usual blue - they were a sheer void of colors. There were no whites of the eyes, her pupils were not blue. There was simply nothing. 'Void Style: Immersion. Success.' The thought was completely missing feeling, almost akin to a robot.

Her face then turned blank - like the void. There were no emotions, no more thought, simply nothing. Within this nothingness, she stepped forward onto the stairs, the explosive tags did not register her existence - because she did not exist, not truly at least.

She ascended the stairs with not a single creek. As she passed the stairs and entered the hallway, her hand reached out to grab onto a door, and when she pulled it open there was no noise, no temperature change, nothing. It was simply as if the door had remained closed - yet it didn't.

She stepped through the door, and faster than the young woman and small child in the room could react, she chopped the back of their necks and they came crumbling to the floor. Yet, as they slammed face-first into the floor, there was no noise. No indent. Nothing.

Naruko closed her eyes, and as she did so a cascade of thousands of horrific whispers emerged. Begging, pleading, screaming, threatening, and so much more. Yet, they were ignored. A faint shift in the air of the room could be felt. A heavily suppressed chakra, akin to a civilian now existed extra in the room. The floor very slightly creaked as all of it sudden it felt someone standing on it. Her eyes snapped open, bright blue - but dull in emotion as if something was lacking.

Her invisible mouth opened up, but instead of words coming out of Narukos mouth out came a viscous black fluid which upon contact with the floor of the room disappeared. Her eyes were still blank, yet a grimace was on her invisible face as she slowly reached down and touched the two civilians on the shoulders. 'Fucking hate that Jutsu.' Forming a handseal a moment later both her, the woman, and the child would disappear. 'Hirashin!'

-Naruko-

Ten minutes had passed when all of a sudden the grass crinkled, and twigs snapped. Snapping her head deeper into the woods and away from the house, Naruko would let out a sigh of relief. "Alright, my clone has brought them back. They're knocked out - c'mon Tazuna, let's go and see if this is your family."
