2 Move along

"Yehaa.. its starting. My movie is starting!!" Lucy exclaimed excitedly at her father.

Seth chuckled when he heard Lucy. This Lucy is so easy to read. She can be happy at the most trivial things. Among his three kids, Lucy is the easiest to pleased, and she is very filial to her parents. Thus making her an easy target to be bullied by her sisters.

I wonder who will take over Lucy's heart and be my future son in law. I will make sure that Lucy will be treasured and pampered by her husband. Seth was smiling while he caressed Lucy's head when he thinks about Lucy's future husband.

As Seth ponders upon his daughter's future, Mia sneaks out from the house like a rat.

"Oh my god, I better run quick. Or else those brats will complain to Mom and Dad again.."

Wearing her comfy sweater and her favorite lounge sweatpants, she looks ready for bedtime.

"Just in-case dad come in to check me during bedtime again, I don't have to panic to change my clothes. Huh, smart Mia."

Mira tiptoed while running quickly down the stairs careful not to make a sound. On her hand, she clutched her phone tightly.

Once she reached the back door in the kitchen, she carefully twists the knob slowly and sneak out of the house like a rat. She planned not to lock the kitchen door so as it will be easier to sneak in before dawn.

Mia ran quickly away from the house to get into her boyfriend's car.

Josh was smiling at her as he opened up the door for her. He looks dashing with his hair smoothed out to his back showing off his flawless forehead.

Ah, look at him. With his look like this, how can people say all those bad things to him?

Mia always knew that her parents dislike Josh the most. Among all of Mia's male friends, Josh received the most criticism. They said that Josh is good for nothing as he did not have a permanent job even though he is 30 years old already but driving around and spending money like he earned them. They said Josh should be able to support his parents at least when he reached the age of 30, not the other way around...

Thinking back on how people talk on badly about Josh, Mia scowled. How come they belittled my boyfriend like this? I mean, look at him. He is so handsome and kind...

He did not have a stable job, but at least he does some work. It is still considered working. Right?

Mia had always talked to herself like that whenever Seth and Jane talks about Josh's issue. Deep down, she knows that her parents were right. She can't marry Josh because of their finances is not stable enough. Considering Josh is not serious in his career, she is sure that she is going to be the breadwinner of her future family. sigh...

"It's alright now. I just need company. If I find someone better, I will move on. Yeah. That's right."
