4 Is it too late now?

"Find Mia now. We need to leave the house. Everyone packed up your bags, and take all your important stuff only. Meet me in the car in 20 minutes. " Seth spoke in a quickly and sternly manner to his family. He knew within an hour or two, the tsunami will hit their house.

"Oh, honey, please pack some food and medicine. We are going to uncle Ben's house. We might need them." Seth added.

Their house is not exactly near the sea nor it was it far enough for the tsunami to hit to. The house situated in quite a strategic location where you can still the sea if you went up to the second floor of the house.

Seth do a quick packing of his stuff and stuffing them in his car. Taking out his cellphone, he called Ben, his brother.

Ben owns a luxurious house situated a bit outskirts in the hilly area. It would be a perfect place for shelter in case the tsunami hits the shore. Luckily Ben is awake and he will be waiting for Seth and the family to stay with him during this trying moments.

In 20 minutes, Jane and the two daughters were down with their luggage and all dressed up. Besides Lucy's leg, there is another bag which belongs to Mia. Lucy is still trying to reach Mia by the phone. Looking at Lucy now, Seth could guess that Mia is not picking up the phone.

Seth was fuming when he is thinking bout his eldest. She must be with that useless Josh again.

Forget it, he need to leave now with the rest of the family. Waiting for Mia means he would put all of them in danger, and he would never do that to his family.

"Come on, load up the trunk, and Lucy, drop a message to your sister told her that we are going to Uncle Ben's house. Lets hope that she is doing fine now with that Josh." Seth then look up to his wife with a calm face.

" It will be fine after we arrives at Ben's. His house is higher than the sea level, and he got all the stuff ready. All we got to do is to arrive there safely before the tsunami hits us." While Seth were consoling his wife and daughter's, the neighbours were busy loading up their truck, leaving their houses too.

It was chaos that night. With the siren still ringing through the night, it had put all the residence in a very nerve wrecking situation.

The tsunami is coming, and the residence along the coastal area were all sighing in regret for purchasing the coastal housing area. They had never heard the siren been sounded before as there was never a real tsunami occurence in 10 years.

All they knew that tsunami is out there before, but since their family have never been in real life threatening situation they were all panicking.

Driving out from the residence, Lucy was stunned seeing all the residence were panicking and some of them put up their typhoon barriers out. Lucy were thinking, why would her father ask their family to move out to Uncle Ben's because their house was also equipped with the typhoon shield.

"Dad, why can't we stay at home? all this while, the tsunami never hit our home before.. why do we need to go to Uncle Ben's?" As soon as Suzy speak up, the surrounding all went dark. The street lights and lights in the house were all turned off.

"Looks like the electricity were cut out now. It is crucial to cut out the power if the tsunami is coming. If not, unimaginable things will happen." Seth were explaining to his family. As a senior electrical engineer, his knowledge in electricity is quite vast.

As the car sped out the neighborhood and heading into the hilly area, loud eerie sound were heard. A huge pitch black like mountain were towering the town, covering the moonlight from the sky.

The tsunami is here.
