Somewhere in the USGS basement office.

"Mike, didn't you told us before that it would happen in another 6 months? Why is it I received a report that the San Andreas fault is in danger? We have been making money from those billionaires by building the 'Indestructible Underground fall out bunker'. We told them it will be ready in another 5 months...Now the report said that at most we have about 3 months??" Jason stopped his words and he stared at Mike in seriousness.

"... Pfft... HAHAHAHAHA..!" Jason suddenly laughed hysterically. He pats Mike on the shoulder while he continues with his manic laughter.

Mike was used to Jason's antics. Every time, he would simply smile along with Jason and tried not to make a fuss out of it. Jason is a Deputy General anyway and his superior for this secret project.

"An Indestructible fallout bunker?? Hahaha... Only those rich fools would invest in that stupid building. Why are they so sure that the bunker will keep them safe? Mike, don't you think it would be safer for those rich fools to move out of California and live happily somewhere in the other continents? Why waste so much money on this stupid bunker? Idiot. " Jason kept on mocking the investors of the secret Project ISAF.

"But hey, it is good news that they are so stupid. If they are not stupid and gullible enough, we won't be able to convince them to invest billions on this project right? And we can't enjoy all these extras.." Jason smiled meaningfully at Mike.

Even though Jason kept on mocking the investors building the bunker, a unit of it was prepared under his name. Deep down, he probably wants to keep that unit to himself in case of something unimaginable happens.

The Indestructible fall out bunker was built 2 years ago as a secret government project under the code name of "ISAF", in short for 'imminent San Andreas Fault'. It was built because the Big One was predicted to occur within these 10 years, and this time, the prediction was considered legit and convincible enough.

The government officials decided to keep this disaster a secret away from the public knowledge after a meeting was conducted among them. The data findings was destroyed and wiped clean right after the meeting.

The public was not new to the news about San Andreas Fault was overdue to have its mega-earthquake. Everyone seems able to generate data and reported their observation on the internet. Prediction upon prediction on when the San Andreas Fault going to have its Big One were circulated on the internet for years now.

Countless of NGOs supported their prediction on when the disaster is going to happen by inviting Professors, and Seismologist around the world that share the same enthusiasm as them. It was like it was a joyous event that they had been anticipating for it to happen.

The people of California were aware of the danger, and yet they are still living their lives there. It was their own choice to stay and wait for the disaster to happen. It was not like the government was neglecting the citizen and left them to die right? Right?

Based on these assumptions, the USGS special team works together with the experts from the Department of National Defence to craft a contingency plan; by building a 12-story Indestructible bunker deep underground, and it was named as Nuclear Fall out Shelter made for the American people.

The building of the Nuclear fall out was well known to the public, as it involved millions of government funds. What they did not know was, the shelter will be used in advance only for the investors and not for the public when the disasters strike.

The San Andreas collapsing is only a part of the disaster that is going to happen. The Indestructible bunker that they built can only occupy a certain amount of people. The supply they had would not be enough to provide them for a very long time. Although the building of the bunker looks like they are well prepared for the disaster, They did not know that the bunker will be trapping them underground with no way out for another 20 years.

Mike came back to his office with a straight face. He was hesitating whether he should report to Jason about the recent news his team had found out. The high number of volcanic eruptions along the Pacific plate was another sign that the Pacific plates are about to collide with the North American Plate; where the meeting point of the two plates was on the San Andreas Fault.

If the two plates were not following their pattern anymore and started colliding with each other, it will create a bigger catastrophe afterward.

Jeff reported to him that this morning in Hawaii, the Big Island's two volcanoes have erupted simultaneously. Although it is possible that two volcanoes that are separated in less than 100km to erupt together, it was still never in history that it ever happened without any signs.

The Mauna Loa and Kilauea shared the same reservoir of magma with different chambers. Usually if one volcano erupted, the pressure inside was reduced and the other volcano will not have enough pressure to releases its magma.

So for two volcanoes to erupt simultaneously like that, it can only mean that a change of pressure that was so great that both volcanoes release its magma together.

Mike continued staring at his computer screen looking at the data Jeff gave him. If his inference is correct, then… they probably only have another 3 months to be prepared for the worse to come. To be exact, something big is about to happen in another 129 days, and it is just the beginning of all disaster.

The world will not be the same moving forward, and the information Mike has right now is the key to the survival of all the people all around the world. Keeping it under cover will results in the deaths of billions of people while letting the news out in the public will cause mega chaos to the world.
