8 Chapter 8- Bonding
~No ones POV~
Things still weren't smooth with most people in the group. Really.
Sure they all kind of got along but it was still very awkward with all of them. And Haruki is very disappointed by the energy around them, it's like...they were strangers with one another and not teammates.
Like they were forced to work together, forced to talk with each other.
The truth is, they all hated it.
The group that bonded the most was Laurence, Ethan and Kiyoshi. Sure Amelia was highly talkative to her group but it was really forced. Which she really didn't like. The closest one she is to is Jason!
They all are still in their own little groups only a bit different. Ethan, Laurence and Kiyoshi have formed a little group and called themselves the trio. A simple name from Kiyoshi because Ethan and Laurence were coming up with ridiculous names.
One of their recommendations were The Quack Gang' because Laurence loves ducks. A lot.
What they are currently doing right now, all of them are just waiting for Haruki to tell them that they could go off and explore the school, again. Though, Haruki said that they could go outside the school but not too far. This made things a little better.
"Where should we go guys?" Ethan asked the whole group, yes including Jason and Mia.
They all thought for a really long time, too long even.
"Maybe the Lake..?" Laurence suggested after a long pause. Jason laughed at what he said which made Laurence second guess his suggestion.
"Probably not, it's too far." Mia blandly says to them sighing. She's right though and sadly got back to thinking again.
"Then...we could go to the park near the school?" Jason says breaking the silence.
"You actually said something smart!" Ethan says quite surprised by what Jason said. He immediately rolled his eyes. "Shut up."
"Alright so is that where we're going to go then..?" Laurence asks Kiyoshi. Kiyoshi gave a small nod and gave a grateful smile to Jason.
"It's nothing really..you're all overthinking this.." Jason says defensively. Ethan laughed at his so called Tsundere personality.
"Alright now we have to wait till Haruki says that we can go." Kiyoshi explains to the group. After he said that they all went their separate ways, but Laurence stayed where he is.
"I'll...wait here for the time being." Laurence told the rest sitting down on the floor and staring at a wall. Jason and Mia gave confused looks at him but ignored what he's doing and walked away.
"I'll stay with him if that's ok?" Ethan asked Kiyoshi taking a step towards Laurence. "Yeah ok." Ethan then sped-walked to Laurence and sat beside him. Kiyoshi smiled at the two and went back to his room to rest.
Kiyoshi sighed to himself when he arrived to his room. He banged his head quite hardly against the wall out of frustration. He doesn't know why he's like this but he knows this feeling is worse then having a bad day at school.
"Hey are you ok..?" Kiyoshi spun his head around and saw Haruki standing at the doorway, confused.
"Oh I'm good, so when are we going out?" He laughed nervously trying to avoid the subject.
"Are yous asking me out on a date?" Haruki smirked at him. Kiyoshi gave him a playful push.
"No, but seriously when are we all going." He stated now outside the room. "Well I was about to tell you first obviously and say that you can go now but now I'm having second thoughts...you sure you're alright?"
"You're blind, Yes I am and I'm going to go get my group now." He confidently walked away from Haruki, smiling to him himself.
'Shit my head stings like hell..'
He rubbed his head and nearly ran into a wall while doing so, luckily no one was there and he continued his way like he was drunk or something.
He finally arrived to where Laurence and Ethan were and walked up to them, well wobbling up to them because he felt a bit dizzy.
"Guys we're heading out now." He announced tapping them by the shoulder. Laurence noticed his lack of energy and did a hesitant nod. Ethan didn't notice this like the oblivious child he is.
"Aight, lead the way captain!" Ethan enthusiastically says to him, Kiyoshi nodded trying to not show his dizziness. "Let's find the others first."
"...somethings wrong." Laurence whispered to Ethan after an awkward silence. Ethan nearly laughed. "How come? Nothings wrong!"
"He's not walking straight, he sounds tired and well I don't know?!" He shout, whispers to Ethan keeping a close eye on Kiyoshi.
"...maybe because he's....tired?" Ethan suggests. Laurence mentally face palmed.
'You are so dumb and smart at the same time I swear to my gaming keyboard I-'
"Oh there you are!" Ethan exclaimed when he saw Mia walking down the hall behind them, this snapped Laurence out of his thoughts.
"Yes yes I'm here now, let's get a move on shall we?" She asks bitterly keeping a distance from them. Laurence sternly nods and turns away to follow Kiyoshi who's absentmindedly walking around.
They eventually found Jason wandering around the building. He was also looking for the group to their surprise.
"Now that we're all here let's go already!" Ethan whined at them jumping around.
Laurence decided to take the lead because first of all Kiyoshi looked exhausted at the moment and he knows where the park is.
"Follow me guys." Laurence announced to them, leading the way. They all reluctantly followed him.
It was a very quiet, awkward walk to the park. No one talked at all, the tension was so high it was a little hard to breathe!

Ethan found the silence deafening, he wanted to break the silence on which he did.
"So uhh..why are we going to this particular park..?" He hesitantly asked the group still following them.
"It's a nice place to go when in doubt." Jason replies to him in a monotone voice. Ethan nodded understandably.
"Well that sounds mushy." Mia snickered at him. Kiyoshi did a small giggle, his headache not as bad as before now.
"Shaddup." Jason says pouting a bit at her. She smirked and continued walking.
"Wait so what you're implying is that you go there when you are like...sad or something?!" Ethan asked him, a little bit too enthusiastic. Jason winced at this at this for being a bit too loud.
"So you had problems?" Mia asked out of the blue as well, also a bit curious of the mysterious person with them. Jason backed away from them.
"Was it a love problem?"
"It's probably school, everyone hates school."
"No wait drama?!"
Mia and Ethan ganged up on Jason asking him nonstop questions, some of them being a bit too personal.
Laurence got annoyed with them asking him too many stupid questions. "Can you all just be. Quiet." He sounded threatening, glaring at the both of them.
Mia and Ethan both put their hands up, giggling. "..you guys are gonna be the death of me.." Laurence sighed.
"Are we there yet though?" Ethan wined. Kiyoshi glances at him and at the huge entrance in front of them, they have arrived!
"Oh." He laughed at himself for being stupid, well what Mia thought at least.
"So when are going in?" She asked the group, not a demand this time now.
"Now." Kiyoshi confidentially says about to take a step in.
"What if there's zombies?" Ethan asks a little scared.
He's correct, what if there is..?
