don't worry it's just a book and it sucks

Chapter 1the first steps

There were few things I hated in life...school was one of those things. Ironically I enjoyed college, but high school was hell. A hell that I am now unfortunate enough to experience once again.

I was currently sat inside of class 2-B listening to a teacher who obviously couldn't care less about the subject, math, drone on. I was at the back of the class struggling not to fall asleep as I ignored most of the stares, from the girls, and glares, from the guys. I had only just been introduced to the class as a transfer student not even fifteen minutes ago and I was already bored out of my Damn mind.

The upside is that I could watch some of my classmates closely. Unfortunately, there were hardly any standouts among my class with a few exceptions. Obviously the first was our protagonist in waiting Issei Hyoudou.

Unfortunately, I already had the displeasure of witnessing his perverted past time of peeking on the kendo club on my way into school. That means that it will be a while before he's even slightly tolerable, I have no plans to interact with him either way.

Second, is the bespectacled Aika Kiryuu, the only pervert here that doesn't get shit on because no one knows how to handle her. Seriously though she is a possible contender for a pawn piece once I get my evil pieces. Aika has high potential to be a mage and with the vast resources of the company I could probably make her pretty useful. Also she has been giving me the fuck me raw eyes since she laied eyes upon me, a lustful blush as she glanced at my pants.

Finally we have the kendo duo, katase and Murayama. Honestly there's not a whole lot interesting about those two. Sure they're cute, but they're also both only tier two meaning they have very limited use as they are. Both are fit and decent at kendo so probably not bad with a real blade, but this is DxD. Here 'not bad with a blade' equals rouge exorcist level skill at most. But I can change that easily.

That's not to say each doesn't have their uses. I will probably leave Issei be until Raynare shows up, I'll also use the excuse to capture at least one of Raynare's group. I mean come on a fallen Angel is practically a must for a peerage.

As stated Aika has potential for a pawn piece if nothing else. Of course I could just go ahead and capture her, Murayama, and Katase to satisfy the bonus objective of my mission.

Rias Gremory loved school, specifically she loved attending school in Japan. It was no secret among her family and close friends that she was something of an otaku, much to her dismay. So when she saw the chance to co-govern the territory of Kuoh with arguably her best friend she jumped at it.

One of the benefits of such an arraignment was that she could also keep an eye out for prospective peerage members while attending school. Prospects such as one Issei Hyoudou, a very perverted young man that held a sacred gear.

What one? She wasn't sure, but at the moment she couldn't be picky. She had been warned that her parents were in talks with House Phenex to move up that and she needed to be ready. So when a few events popped up unexpectedly she became very interested.

First a few weeks ago an unknown person had begun hunting stray devils in their little corner of Japan. This person had been careful so far to avoid detection, but in the last few days they had blundered. They had hunted inside her territory.

Previously the hunts had all been just outside Kuoh leading Rias to believe it was an exorcist. However, just two days ago, they had killed a stray in Kuoh proper. This led Rias to speculate that it might not be an exorcist after all, but a freelancer of sort. After all no exorcist would knowingly encroach on her territory for fear of starting a war.

The second was much more tame, but no less interesting. The arrival of a new transfer student named Marcus Levian. Normally a transfer student is nothing to get overly excited about, but this one just happens to have an inkling of magic potential. Well...at least a very potent inkling.

That was the very reason Rias found herself sitting across from her best friend Sona Sitri. Recently Sona had been quite kind with letting Rias have first dibs on recruitment among the students due to her situation, but this apparently wouldn't last forever.

"I want him."

Rias nodded in understanding as she took a sip of the tea Akeno had prepared for them. They had been invited to the student council office for this discussion.

"I see, but may I ask why?" She asked her friend.

In response Sona picked up a folder she had at her side and handed it to Rias. As Rias opened it she couldn't help but be a little surprised.

"He's academically one of the sharpest students we have, if not the Sharpest, not to mention he is also very magically inclined." Sona explained adjusting her glasses.

"I agree, which is why he would be very well suited to my peerage. After all I still have a bishop." Rias countered.

"Ah, but can you really afford to use that piece on an unknown?" Sona countered with a knowing smirk. "He may have a strong magic presence, but there is always the chance it could be a very niche skill set."

Rias had to begrudgingly give her that point. Sona was happy to help her friend, but she wouldn't sink her own ship to do so.

"Of course that's not even why I want him." Sona stated causing Rias to raise an eyebrow. "Turn the page."

Doing as instructed Rias was a little more surprised to see that Marcus had quite a few written praises from teachers for his tutoring abilities. Apparently he had helped raise his class average quite a bit as a freshman. That alone explained exactly how hard Sona was willing to fight over this.

Sona's Dream was to open a school for devils of all class. It's a beautiful and selfless dream, but one that is quite heavily opposed. If she's to make it a reality she needs strong and competent individuals at her side. So that obviously makes one like Marcus, who may be strong and if reports are to be believed a gifted teacher, impossible to pass up.

Though that didn't mean Rias would simply sit back and allow it. She needed all the help she could get and would bargain tooth and nail for it.

"Perhaps we could come to a compromise." She offered amicably.

"I'm listening." Sona replied taking a sip of her own tea.

"He is still a relatively unknown variable. Perhaps we should learn a little about him first?" Rias explained waiting to make sure she had Sona's interest.

"Hmmm what did you have in mind?" Her fellow heiress finally asked.

"We both have members of our peerage that are first years. Let's have them approach him for tutoring. They can learn more about him while also allowing him to develop a friendly relationship with each of our respective peerage's." Rias explained.

Sona nodded in acknowledgment, it wasn't a bad idea. Rias would likely have Koneko attempt to gauge his level of strength while she would most definitely have Ruruko report back everything.

"I see, that way we can get a clearer picture of our new student. Very well, we can discuss this again after each of our members have had a few meetings with him." Sona agreed, after all its not like Rias could stay patient for long. She would need to act sooner or later and hopefully pass on Marcus Levian.

It was a few minutes later after a little more small talk that Rias left alongside her queen. Without missing a beat Sona turned to Tsubaki who was waiting patiently behind her own seat.

"Tsubaki, please retrieve Marcus Levian after the end of first period." She instructed.

"Of course madam president." Tsubaki replied with a stoic facade, though Sona could see the mirth in her eyes.

Sona smirked to herself as she enjoyed the rest of her tea. After all...she never said how long she would wait to approach Marcus.

Marcus P.O.V

When the bell rang for the end of first period i can't begin to describe the level of happiness I felt. With a groan I laid my head down on my desk and did my best to attempt to sleep for a few minutes until second period. Unfortunately someone had other ideas.

"Having trouble keeping "it" up Levian-san?" A snarky voice asked causing me to look up.

"It's Kiryuu right?" I asked feigning ignorance.

"Yep, and you look like you've had a very "Hard" day." She commented.

"Definitely have, that teacher was as enthusiastic about math as the calculator." I stated causing her to snicker.

"Yeah, he's always a real old bore, but at least history is a little more exciting." She stated causing me to nod.

"I'll take your word for it."

"Oh, would you like to take anything else?" She asked flirtatiously.

'Horny little minx.' I thought as I gave her a smirk. "Maybe after dinner, you could become the desert." I shot back causing her to blush heavily.

'Ah, so you can't take your own medicine.' I thought to myself as a watched her fidget.

I was about to continue flirting with Aika until I heard someone call my name.

"Marcus Levian?"

Looking towards the voice I couldn't hide my surprise when I saw it was Tsubaki Shinra, vice president of the student council and queen of Sona Sitri. Raising my hand I spoke up.

"Here, can I help you miss?" I asked.

"My name is Tsubaki Shinra of the student council. President Shitori asked me to bring you to her." She explained.

I raised an eyebrow at that, I had expected the devils to approach me soon. I just didn't expect it to be on day one.

"Alright." Shrugging my shoulders I agreed.

"Aww, leaving me already?" Aika asked with an all too fake pout.

"Of course, it builds the anticipation. Don't worry I'll finish you off next time." I replied airly causing her to sputter weakly as I was lead out of the classroom.

Marcus-1, Aika-0

Putting away my mental tally, it was a quiet walk towards the student council office. I would have tried to strike up a conversation with Tsubaki, but she gave me the impression of a woman currently fulfilling her mission.

After a few minutes we came to a set of double doors on the third floor. Tsubaki knocked before almost immediately entering with myself following behind her. It was a decent sized room, a few couches, tables, and desks here and there. Of course the main attraction was the large mahogany desk that sat in the middle of the room.

Behind it sat the petite raven haired student council president beauty Souna Shitori, also known as Sona Sitri. Beside Sona stood a girl with long brown hair in twin pigtails who wore the standard girls uniform with the exception of her striped green stockings. If I remember correctly she is one of Sona's two pawns, I just can't remember her name.

Seeing us enter Sona looked directly at me while Tsubaki stood off to the side. For her part the pawn looked a little nervous as she fidgeted in her spot.

"Welcome Marcus Levian, I apologize for having you brought here so suddenly. Truthfully I had needed to speak with you for a moment before your next class." Sona explained while gesturing to one of the seats across from her.

"It's fine, I wasn't in the middle of anything important, but you do seem to have me at a disadvantage miss." I stated while taking a seat across from her.

"I had hoped that context would be enough to establish my identity." She answered.

I could only give her a flat look. Was she really testing me like this? Rude.

"Well assumptions make an ass out of you and me." I replied with a shrug causing Sona to twitch slightly. Beside her the pawn snorted a bit in an attempt to hold back her laughter.

"I see." She replied while adjusting her glasses. "Well, allow me to formally introduce myself. I am Souna Shitori, student council president."

"A pleasure to meet to madam president." I replied with a nod.

"The pleasure is mine, I must admit I was quite surprised to have someone of your academic record attend Kuoh academy." She stated while pulling out what looked like my file.

"Uh, you don't just have that sitting out in your desk right? Isn't that confidential?" I asked causing her to blink owlishly before putting it away.

Sona cleared her throat in an attempt to recompose herself. "I assure you that was not your student file. It was simply a few notes I had made." She explained quickly.

I was about to say something when she cut me off.

"Anyway, I happened to note you were a very gifted tutor." She stated more than asked causing me to nod.

"I've been known to help out fellow students who struggled." I answered. It was mostly true in previous schools I had been very good at most subjects, obviously because of my previous knowledge bleeding over, and had helped a lot of classmates.

"Yes, well I was wondering if you would be willing to help out Ruruko here." She stated more than asked as she motioned to the pawn.

The shorter girl took it as her queue to introduce herself. "Ruruko Nimura, it's nice to meet you senpai."

"A pleasure miss Nimura." I replied politely causing her to blush and Sona to twitch. Hey a devil I may be, but I was raised with manners and shit in this life.

"As for tutoring, well what are you offering in exchange?" I asked causing Sona to raise her eyebrows in slight surprise.

I may have helped my classmates, but I never said it was for free. I mean, I am a devil after all.

"You...would like compensation?" Sona asked testing the waters so to speak.

Huh waters, Sitri, Leviathan...I hate myself for that joke.

"Of course, tutoring is a service is it not?" I asked rhetorically. "It goes against the principle of the matter if I provide a service yet receive nothing in return." I explained.

Sona looked to the side sharing glances with her queen as if having a telepathic conversation. Meanwhile Ruruko looked at me as if I was mad for, what others may consider, essentially blackmailing the student council president.

This was all part of the plan. Establish myself as someone willing to do certain things for a negotiable price. With this it would likely lead to the two heiresses becoming quite familiar with having a handy man of sorts nearby.

It was also the reason I had taken [paper trail] when I made my build. I knew the company would take care of a believable background, but I needed something I could manipulate to my advantage. The downside was that it's random what [paper trail] gives you, so I couldn't take any specific talents or lures to help me with it beforehand. Now though, I had a pretty good idea of what to do.

"Of course..." I started getting their attention once again. "If you don't think you have something of value, I could always trade with favors." I stated.

"A favor, what kind of favor?" Sona asked skepticism clear in her voice.

"Oh dear, our student council president can't be that dirty minded can she?" I asked with fake shock causing Sona to narrow her eyes. Unfortunately the slight blush made it cute rather than intimidating. Was this why Serafall embarrassed her sister so much?

"Now, now, it's nothing like that." I assured her. "It's simple really, I'm doing you a favor so in return you owe me a favor." I explained.

"A 'quid pro quo' as it were." Tsubaki stated from her position off to the side.

I snapped my finger while shooting her a brief grin. "Exactly my dear!" I exclaimed with a smile while looking back to Sona. "Of course I always keep track of my favors and I never forget those that welch on a deal." I stated with an edge to my voice.

This was something I had discovered while reviewing my memories. All devils are predisposed to one of the seven deadly sins and I was no different. My sin is that of gluttony, of course not the eating kind of gluttony. No mine is habitual greed, the very act of wanting more whether it be money, women, or power. Deals bring power to a devil and woe be to any who tried to renege on a deal with a Leviathan of gluttony.

It was barely noticeable, almost minute, but I could see the faintest shiver shake the heiress as she stared into my orange eyes. After a few minutes of silence Sona nodded as she spoke.

"Very well, the student council will owe you a favor in the future for your lessons with Ruruko. Am I to assume the weight of this favor will be in proportion with her academic growth?"

I couldn't help but smile a little wider at Sona. She was a clever girl I would give her that, by specifying it was the student council who owed the debt i couldn't hold her solely liable. It also meant my favor would be limited to the resources of the council amd not to Sona.

With a smile I held out my hand expectantly to which Sona cautiously shook. It was barely noticeable, but there was the slightest pick up of magic and a deal was formed. It wasn't even devil magic a little trickery that any human mage could accomplish. Was it necessary, no, but it would keep Sona guessing and around for more.

I then turned to Ruruko. "Well my dear Kohai, what is your current class ranking?" I asked causing her to think for a moment.

"I'm currently twenty five out of thirty four." She answered causing me to nod.

It was satisfactory, she wasn't extremely smart, but she also wasn't stupid. I would have expected nothing less from someone of Sona's peerage.

"Very well, let's see about getting you into the top ten...by midterms." I stated causing her eyes to widen drastically. "Now where would you like these lessons to be take place?" I asked.

It was another ten or so minutes of ironing out the details before I left the student council office. The cliff notes version is that I'll be tutoring Ruruko every other day after school starting tomorrow. The location could vary as needed, but Sona was insistent we have our first session at the school proper.

Mentally I shrugged, it wasn't like the location would change the outcome. Sona had just handed me her pawn on a silver platter and I would gladly devour her.

After I returned to my classroom it continued to be a pretty boring day. Classes passed by slowly until just after lunch we had the first class I genuinely found interesting, gym.

Currently we were outside in an open area surrounded by a track field. The boys were wearing the make gym uniform which consisted of a white short sleeved shirt and navy blue shorts. The girls wore similar shirts to the boys, but instead of shorts they wore navy blue bloomers.

Gym was essentially a group class where several classes were combined into one. For our gym class we were combined with classes 2-C, 3-A, and 1–B.

Class 2-C was another second year class, the only noteworthy members of which were most of Sona's peerage and Kiba Yuuto. Class 3-A was a third year class that had the kings and queens of each respective peerage. Finally there was class 1-B with the only noteworthy members being Koneko Toujou and Ruruko.

The class started with everyone doing stretches and form there the instructors had everyone pair off for different activities. Each group would then rotate after half an hour or so. This was the reason gym class was a combined class and why it was two hours long.

My group ended up being myself, Kiba Yuuto, Koneko Toujou, Kiyome Abe, Saji Genshirou, Tomoe Meguri, and half a dozen others. Our first activity was apparently kendo.

'I swear I have no idea if this was some devil mid fuckery, but seriously kendo?' I couldn't help but think to myself as I watched two students swing around the shinai in a 'spar' with nothing short of a cringe.

"Is this a normal gym activity?" I asked not really expecting an answer.

"No, no it is definitely not." Came a reply causing me to look at who spoke. Not surprisingly it was Kiba who stood with Koneko.

"Then why the hell is the teacher having untrained students do this?" I asked as I watched one student take a blow to the head. 'Fucks sake they're not even wearing protection.'

"No clue." Came the monotone reply of Koneko.

"Ah, my apologies. I'm Kiba Yuuto and this is Koneko Toujou." He stated while giving his best smile.

Koneko mean while looked up at me. "Yo what it do."

"Marcus Levian, nice to meet you both." I replied as the student who gave the headshot now took one of his own.

"Have you any experience with kendo Levian-san?" Kiba asked.

"Kendo, not really, but I'm familiar with swordplay." I replied. I had picked it up so fast we moved on quickly, to actually Fighting with a sword.

"Oh?" Kiba asked with a bit of curiosity. Unfortunately he wasn't able to voice anymore questions as the instructor called the match.

"Any volunteers?"

"Here/I will/Me!"

The three voices were myself, Kiba, and Sona's knight Tomoe Meguri. The two knights shared a look with each other.

"I don't believe we should force Levian-san to drop out. He has only just transferred here after all." Kiba stated with a thin smile.

"Hmm, how should we decide which of us withdraws then." She asked as the two started sizing each other up.

Nope! I am not doing anime tropes right now!

"Rock, paper, scissors?" I asked flatly causing them both to chuckle a bit. They each held out a hand as they started.

"Rock. Paper. Scissors. SHOOT!"

Kiba had paper while Tomoe had rock. The redhead looked depressed as she joined her peerage mate spectating while muttering about the stupidity of paper beats rock.

When Kiba turned around I gave him just enough time to hear me say "catch" before I tossed one of the discarded shinai to him. He nodded gratefully as we stood across from each other in our respective positions. It was fairly obvious this would more than likely go until one of us surrendered. Especially considering the instructor wasn't even calling points for the last match.

"Begin!"

With the call from the instructor Kiba moved forward just barely faster than a normal human attempting a thrust. Unfortunately I had no intention of playing with him. With a step back I allowed him to pass in front of me before quickly slamming the pommel of the shinai into his back. With a grunt he hit dropped to a knee and spun attempting to hit me with a side slash.

I once again took a step back making sure that I was just out of his range. Just as the blade of the shinai passed me I stepped forward and brought my own shnai down and let it rest by his throat.

"Point, Levian!" The instructor called.

I looked over at him unimpressed, was he just randomly deciding how he did this. Taking a step back I allowed Kiba to stand up and get back into position.

It was obvious Kiba was taking it easy on me. He's a knight and a very experienced sword user, had he actually tried it would have been far more difficult to land a point on him.

"Begin!"

This time Kiba was much faster, without a seconds notice he was in front of me forcing me to parry a slash to my chest. It was followed up by a slash to my left side that I was forced to dodge and then a thrust that hit my chest. The force of the thrust alone sent me sliding back a few inches.

"Point, Yuuto!"

Standing up I gave Kiba a slight grin as we reset once again. Kiba was fast, faster than I thought a knight actually moved, but he wasn't faster than Yumeko. Yumeko had demonstrated the flash step, and how to keep up with others using it, so seeing Kiba move wasn't difficult now that I knew how fast he could really be.

"Begin!"

Kiba blurred once again, but this time I met him halfway shocking him. He thrust and I knocked it to the side. I slashed and he parried it before attempting a pommel strike.

It continued like this for three minutes, then six, and finally ten minutes had passed as the two of us continued trading blow for blow, parry for parry. It was a stalemate until I was finally able to catch him off guard.

He went for a horizontal slash which I parried only to strike his wrist with the pommel of my shinai forcing him to lose his own. Without a seconds thought I struck. Slashing my shinai horizontally I hit his chest throwing him backwards and onto his back.

"Point, Levian!"

I let out a breath as I stepped back and offered Kiba a hand up. That was more difficult than I would have liked. My meager training with Yumeko had honed the basics of swordplay, but I wasn't near a level that I would like.

I had opted to train in mainly hado and Kido since that was all the time i had gotten so far. Of course I learned the basics of swordplay and flash step as well, but I'm now seeing just how lacking I am in the former.

"Good match." I stated after Kiba was on his feet.

"You as well, if you don't mind my asking where did you learn?" He asked.

He was fishing, but I didn't really have a reason not to tell him. "I learned from someone I tutored at a previous school." I answered. Hey I said I'd tell him, I didn't say it'd be the truth.

He looked just a tad incredulous at my response. "Someone traded lessons in swordplay for academic lessons?"

I nodded happily. "Kiba my friend you will find that anyone will trade anything if they think they have a chance at winning a bet or getting something of value out of it." I stated proudly.

"Really?" He asked

"Of course, for instance how about a bet between us?" I offered.

"What kind of bet?" He asked curiously.

"If I get this next point I win the match, but if I lose we'll tie. My bet is that if I win you owe me a favor, and vice versa if I so much as draw." I offered.

"Agreed." He accepted without so much as a thought. I knew it would be too good to pass up and, unlike Sona, Rias' dear knight isn't wary of my deals.

"You two ready?" The instructor asked with a bit of annoyance.

The two of us backed away from each other and prepared for our next round. When we were back in our original positions we announced we were ready.

"Begin!"

Just like last time we were once again at each other in a moments notice. Shinai clashed as we entered a dance of slash, parry, thrust, and repeat. Unlike last time however this one ended much sooner as I overextended with a thrust and Kiba capitalized by resting his Shinai at my throat.

"Well, looks like you won the bet. This time" I announced causing him to nod with a smile.

Before we could prepare for another round the timer that signaled the end of our thirty minutes rang. We rejoined our group as we made our way over to the next activity, which was basketball.

As we walked Kiba came up beside me. "For my favor could you come to the occult research clubroom after school?" He asked.

"Of course, a deals a deal." I answered.

With a smile he nodded as he began talking about the match we had. Poor, poor Kiba...you really shouldn't be so naive.

Later

It was the end of the school day and it had been a long and boring day. With the exception of gym of course, gym was fun. Now I was walking with Kiba towards the old school building that now served as the ORC's clubroom.

There's got to be some nepotism there right? I mean a whole school building for a club that only has four, technically five, members. I guess that's the type of thing you can get away with when you can alter memories. It could also be a filthy rich thing, I mean I have no delusions that Sirzechs didn't want to spoil his little sister some.

As we enter the building I'm led through the halls that are decorated in mostly a gothic european style. Finally we enter through a set of double doors to a large room with various furniture and a single large desk. At one of the couches is Koneko who is eating a tray of dessert.

"Hey Koneko." I greeted. Looking my way she gave a nod before returning to her food.

There was silence as we apparently waited for a good ten minutes until another door opened. Entering the room were the top two beauties of Kuoh, Rias Gremory and Akeno Himejima. I have to say seeing the pair in person vs a tv screen is like black and white.

"Afternoon, my name is Rias Gremory and this is Akeno Himejima. I've heard you have already met Koneko and Kiba." Rias greeted as she sat behind her desk while Akeno looked like she was beginning to brew tea.

"A pleasure, I'm Marcus Levian." I introduced myself. Heh, only a minute in and I already have a better opinion of Rias than Sona. That's the power of good manners.

"Levian-san, I would like to transfer that favor you owe me to Rias if you don't mind?" Kiba asked causing me to shrug.

"Sure." It's not like it's going to be any skin off my nose. "Then this is a business meeting?" I asked causing Rias to nod.

"Indeed, I'm friends with Souna Shitori and she happened to mention you were tutoring someone for her." Rias explained.

"Oh, that girl who keeps confidential information lying around her desk. Yeah I'm helping out a kohhai for her." I replied airly.

My reply caused Rias to smirk slightly as she tried not to laugh. Really I was most likely going to get an earful from Sona, but it would be worth it. Probably...maybe...eh oh well.

"Well I was wondering if you would be willing to do the same for our Koneko?" She asked.

Looking to the white haired girl to see her reaction I got a shrug in response. "History blows." She stated.

"Well I don't see why not." I replied. "I just need to know how often you want tutoring and where." I explained.

"You can use our clubroom for a meeting place. As for the frequency...what do you think Koneko?" Rias asked.

"I'm good with an hour after school Wednesdays and Fridays." She replied after a moment of thought.

'Huh, so unlike Ruruko I won't have much privacy with Koneko.' I thought to myself. 'That's fine, with Ruruko I'll only have a single lure working on her while with Koneko I can use two at once.'

Nodding I spoke. "Alright that should work just fine, it's Monday today and I'll be working with Ruruko every other day starting tomorrow so that shouldn't conflict." I explained before standing up.

"Well if that's all, I'll be heading home now." I stated to which Rias nodded with a smile.

"Of course and thank you again." She stated to which I smiled.

"My pleasure."

With those last words I left the ORC and started to make my way home. I allowed a few minutes before I took out the contractor smart device and made some purchases.

{Don't Stand So Close to Me -15 [50]

Educational Talent -5 [35] Faerie Feast -5[30]}

Heh, with these I would be very capable of capturing my two 'students'. The first, Don't Stand So Close to Me, is a lure specifically designed to have targets either teaching or being taught by me fall for me. Essentially it will pervert their thoughts about learning into a more suggestive and sexual nature. The longer, more personal, and intense the learning is the greater the effect this lure has, especially if the target is already interested in a subject.

Educational talent makes it to where I am basically a badass at teaching. First off my explanations are always as clear as I wish and whoever I teach is guaranteed to retain the information easily. Secondly, this applies to physical practice as well so long as I have a vague idea of my role and can physically complete it. The main downside is that I can only teach what my student would be capable of learning by themselves through sufficient time and effort.

I can't help the smirk that plays on my lips as I put away the device. It's only been a few days into my new life and I'm already on my way to my first captures.

Regular P.O.V

Unknown to Marcus was that as he exited the school grounds he was being watched. Standing behind the school gates a lone figure watched with narrowed eyes. They had felt his presence, seen him interact with the devils, and yet no one seemed to notice he himself was a devil. The figure smirked, perhaps they could use this to their advantage.

With a slight skip to their step the figure set off. To where? Only they would know.

So instead of swords, I came after every zombie I saw with guns. Like countries in the middle east, I proceeded to blow the motherfuckers to kingdom come. And surprisingly because of "Rewind", I found out I could never run out of ammunition. $200 for each kill. Hefty bonus for each area of hell liberated. What scared normal people shitless suddenly allowed me to earn millions every day. The richer I got the more "Freedom" I could unleash! Mortars, tanks, air strikes to even nukes. Backed by modern science and technology, I slowly but surely drove the undead back. Along the way, I met and saved seven heavenly beauties. And all of them fell in love with me. They were a little obsessive, scratch that, they were all fucking insane. My precious harem was comprised of nothing but Yanderes in every sense of the word. Still, I would willingly burn the entire world for any of them. For when I called, only my battle harem answered. And that was even before I learned of another secret. Exchanging bodily fluids with my girls gave me their cheats. Suddenly, in contrast to every Revenant in the world who only had one, I alone wielded eight. One from each girl plus my own. And so unfolded my 2nd life. Which eventually became my legend. Who am I you ask? I was born as John Smith. But these days not even my girls use that name. Both on Earth and in Hell everyone else just calls me Limitless. And I am the Strongest Revenant. *************************** Author Notes: Harem size: 7 | No NTR | No Yuri | No Grape Novel Focus: Action, Adventure, Urban Fantasy, Reincarnation, Dark, Weak to Strong, Battle Harem, Beautiful Heroines, YANDERE Heroine, Military, Loyal Subordinates, Kingdom Building, War, Politics, Conspiracies, Overpowered, Face Slapping, Tragedy, Character Development, Multiple POVs, Betrayal, Alternate Realities, Demons, Zombies, Superpowers, Tower Climbing, Tower Defense, Wish fulfillment.
