He had come to her one day; and he had shown her his soul.

She was mesmerized; for she'd never seen anything like that before.

And on the same day he'd kissed her.

He had waited for the sun to sink;

And the moon to be at her best, to do so

He had kissed her in moonlight.

When the sky was fresh and blue

When the world belonged to mother moon

They'd kissed before god.

And on that fateful night;

They knew their promise was written somewhere in the stars.
