1 Brother hates me but Dad is rich

"I told you many times, I'm busy right now!"

Sui Ya felt irked. Who was yelling at her?

Her head throbbed painfully and her vision was still black. She groaned and rubbed her temple to ease the pain but then she heard the voice say to her again.

"Even if you pretend to feel unwell, I'm not going to go back with you. Sui Ya I'm telling you, some people actually have things to do, unlike you!"

The voice sounded even more annoyed this time.

Sui Ya wanted to curse. Who's pretending. Her head hurts like it had been split open!

Slowly, her vision began to come back. She swerved her head fiercely to see which grandson was so audacious.

In front of her was a teenager with a handsome and clean appearance. His temperament and his posture exclude elegance but at this moment, the picture was ruined by the ugly expression on his face.

Sui Ya's brain froze. Wait a minute.

She looked at his casual but orderly attire, the large and green garden around them, as well as the luxury car parked right behind.

This was the modern world! Sui Ya who spent nearly a thousand years in ancient settings felt touched by the familiar yet foreign sight before her.

As Sui Ya was engrossed in a series of emotions, the cold looking teenager looked at her with some confusion in his eyes.

Normally by now, she would begin crying and acting pitiful. The teenager sneered as he remembered the various occasions where she had threatened him in the past. This person in front of him was born with a delicate appearance, when she stayed still, she looked like an angel. However, he knew better than anyone that behind the beautiful skin was just a rotten core. Always acting wronged and pitiful but when she opened her mouth, she had a poisonous tongue that was most adept at threatening and mocking people. He despised people like her the most.

The teenager looked at Sui Ya who was still in a daze. Her large eyes were widened even more and her mouth was slightly opened as if in shock. He frowned. Was her new way of throwing a tantrum?

Not wanting to be around her any longer, the teenager humphed coldly and entered the black luxury car that had been waiting for him. The car slowly drove out of the large garden, leaving Sui Ya behind with her own thoughts.

Sui Ya remained silent and unmoving for a while. Finally, she reached out her hand and seemingly grabbed something from mid-air. A book suddenly appeared in her empty hand.

Sui Ya took one look at the title and cursed. As she had thought, the title of the book had changed!

She first acquired this accursed book when she was transmigrated into a cultivation world. Back then the book title was 'Young Maiden's flowery dream'. Reading it for the first time had made her shiver in fright, rendering her sleepless for countless nights as she wondered what the hell did she just read.

In the end, she has only one thing to say: This young maiden, she certainly dreams of one too many 'flowers'!

After reading it, she had built a glorious fire to burn the book. It didn't work so she settled for some roast sweet potato instead.

Sui Ya looked at the book now. It had become even more hideous to look at now.

The book was now a blinding shade of pink and it was embezzled with rhinestones in all colors of the goddamn rainbow. There were ribbons, glitter and an odd assortment of feathers. It looked like a three-year-old had their fun with it. However, contrary to Sui Ya's disgust, the book appeared to be quite pleased with itself as it dazzled even brighter than usual.

Sui Ya read the title.

'Young Maiden and her three faithful servants'

"..."

Was this a series? Who wrote this piece of crap, confess and I promise I won't slap you to death.

"Big miss, the young master has already left. Let's head back into the house?"

A woman who had been silently standing at the side timidly spoke up. She looked cautiously at Sui Ya as trying to read her mind.

Only Sui Ya could see the book so she did not worry about the woman discovering her abnormality when she pulled the book out of thin air. Sui Ya didn't answer the woman and leisurely flipped a page. Having not received an answer, the woman also didn't dare to speak again. She just stood off to the side, standing perfectly still as if she wanted to erase her presence.

After a few minutes, Sui Ya stored the book away. She waved at the woman behind her signaling she wanted to head back inside.

After skimming through some of the book's content, Sui Ya figured out who this woman was. She was a nanny hired by the original to take care of her.

Now, the body's original was already 15 this year. Most people at 15 are already self-sufficient in taking care of themselves, even if they aren't financially independent yet. However, the body's original was really a fair and tender princess that can't suffer even the slightest wrong. The woman, Ming Na, was a nanny hired to take care of her hands and feet. Of course, the salary was very high, otherwise who would've put up but with a temperamental rich miss like her.

Ming Na, as a nanny with a six-digit salary, was very good at what she does. She immediately sent a message through her phone.

"Liu Shifu, the car please."

Less than a minute later, a white luxury car drove into the garden. Ming Na helped Sui Ya onto the car before getting on.

The car drive was silent. Through the window, Sui Ya watched as trees and shrubs rolled past them. Sui Ya sighed, the original's family is really filthy rich. Even their front garden is the size of a national park.

A ten-minute drive late, they finally arrived at the mansion. Ming Na got off first to open the door for Sui Ya. Ming Na dismissed the chauffeur after Sui Ya was off.

When Sui Ya entered the house, she saw a man walking down the stairs, adjusting his cuffs and he talked into a phone. He bore a striking resemblance to the cold teenager who had just yelled at her. Sui Ya automatically recognized him as her father in this world.

'After the passing of his former wife, Sui TaoBing married a woman whom he believed to be his true love. His second wife was the moonlight in his heart that he had finally managed to obtain after many years. Sadly, their time together was not destined for long, after birthing him a child, his second wife sadly also left him, leaving him a daughter whom he treats like a princess and cherished with all his heart-- Excerpt from Young maiden and her three faithful servants.'

In other words, this was the father that loved her dearly. If she asked for the moon he would never give her the stars. Sui TaoBing was the reason why the original could live so extravagantly but he was also the reason why she ended with such a tragic ending.

The cold teenager from before, his name was Sui Yang. He's the son of Sui TaoBing's first wife and was her half brother.

Sui Yang was also just a child when his mother died. He expected to receive his father's love and reassurance but instead, all his father's attention was placed onto someone else. When the original was born, and Sui Yang grew older, Sui TaoBing's bias towards the original became even more obvious. It was a situation where no matter what the original did, she was the favored child while Sui Yang was never good enough in Sui TaoBing's eyes no matter what he did. Sui TaoBing never wronged his son materially but the relationship between could only be described as distant.

Sui Ya pursed her lips. Actually, this identity wasn't half bad. She has a big thigh to hug as soon as she arrived in this world. It can't be compared to her first transmigration where she was a sad and weak orphan. Back then she was alone, scared, and the only thing she had was a demonic book that left her mind haunted for days. She also only had sweet potatoes to eat because her setting before the story started was an orphan who worked on a potato farm.

Sui TaoBing noticed Sui Ya when she came in. However, he was in the middle of a work call so he only offered her a small smile.

Unlike Sui Ya's misleading angelic appearance, Sui TaoBing's feature reflected his personality perfectly. Cold and domineering with an expression that suggested everyone owes him money. When he smiles at Sui Ya, it was like a tiger grinning at a rabbit.

Sui Ya wondered just how tolerant Sui TaoBing was towards her. She ran towards him, or at least that's what she had intended to do.

She had run only ten steps or so before feeling tired. Her breathing became labored as she bent down on her knee. Sui Ya was devastated but amazed at the same time.

This was truly the body of a princess pampered since birth! 100 percent authentic!

Seeing her like this, Ming Na immediately came to her rescue. With her deceptively thin frame, she swept Sui Ya up in a princess carry like she weighed nothing. Sui Ya felt that she could almost see the muscle bulging from underneath Ming Na's clothes.

There were so many thoughts running through Sui Ya's mind that her face became blank again.

Should she be feeling embarrassed right now?

Sui Ya then remembered her current body was weak as a thin branch trembling in the wind.

It's fine! After all, if she was paying someone a six-figure salary, being able to smoothly carry her is also one of their job's responsibilities. She should just relax and enjoy, no need to worry so much about shame this and shame that.

After Sui Ya justified her patheticness, she rested in ease against Ming Na's arms. She suddenly felt that Ming Na was really cool ah.

When Ming Na swiftly carried her up the stairs, Sui Ya nimbly leaped into Sui TaoBing's arm.

"Dad!" She tugged at his suit and stared at him with her big eyes full of Sui Ya has no shame as she relentlessly began selling meng.

Seeing that his beloved daughter wanted his attention, Sui TaoBing quickly ended the call, telling the other side that they will meet up to discuss in further details.

"What does my little princess want me for?" Sui TaoBing lovingly rubbed Sui Ya's head. Gentleness flooded his eyes as he looked at Sui Ya.

Sui Ya had fair complexion, large eyes, and soft chestnut hair. Sui TaoBing was thankful that his daughter resembled his love, it made him feel like he was left with a piece of her.

Sui Ya didn't plan on asking for anything, she just wanted to annoy him a little and gauge the depth of his care for her. But since her father asked, she naturally had to reply. She randomly said something.

"It's so boring staying in the house. I want to go play!"

Sui TaoBing nodded as if agreeing with her.

"Ding."

There was a notification from Sui Ya's phone. Sui Ya checked it and saw a text telling her that 5 million dollars had been transferred into her bank account.

Sui TaoBing asked, "Is that enough?"

He looked as if he was ready to add more the minute she gave the word.

Sui Ya licked her lips and said, "Nope."

"Ding."

Five million more was immediately transferred into her bank account.

Sui Ya smiled. Ai, this is what a transmigrated life should look like.

Sui Ya gallantly headed out to experience the modern world that she had been absent of for so long. Liu Shifu was once again called back with the car and they drove into the cities.

The car drive was considerably long, partly because the Sui family's estate was so big and partly because driving the car too fast made Sui Ya's princess body feel car sick. Ming Na dutifully served tea while Sui Ya leisurely read through the content of 'Young Maiden and her three faithful servants'.

Sui Ya skipped all the way to the middle and read the excerpt:

'The haughty princess that had lost everything could only lower herself and beg for her brother's help. Sui Yang wrapped his hand around He LiAn's waist and pulled her close as if shielding her from the filth that called him brother.

Sui Yang's eyes held nothing but contempt. He owes this woman nothing, why would he when she was the one that stole away everything that should've been his! He finally realized that only the things that you've grasped with your own two hands are the most secure.

The woman before him is pitiful but he felt no pity.'

Sui Yang was absorbed in reading. Wow, so exciting!

She then flipped to the next page. There were many colorful papapa scenes later on as well as the rivalry between the three faithful servants as they fought over He LiAn's heart ne!

Ever since she had been corrupted by this book for the first time, she inexplicably began to like this sort of content. Sometimes she worries for herself.
