170 This Hero and The Runed Weapon!

The dagger I held in my hand glowed white as it shifted and molded into a new shape. The sound of metal being bent and twisted squealed out as the weight in my hand changed. Goto watched in shock as he backed away a few steps.

"What the hell did you do? Why didn't my attack work?" He yelled out as he stared at me with bloodshot eyes.

I didn't answer. I instead watched my dagger as it finished changing.

In my hands is no longer an adamantite dagger. I am now holding an adamantite sword… or more specifically, a katana. Marked on the blade appears to be a rune that is glowing purple.

The rune, though I cannot read it, looks incredibly similar to the Japanese hiragana character for "Ke."

"Heh…" I couldn't help but let out. "A katana? Seriously? I mean, I guess that works out for now, but I wouldn't have picked that."

Goto pointed at me. His hand shook in anger.
