368 Intermission Part 3.

There were times in which I was given moments to myself. In these times, without anyone else around me, I decided that it would be best spent reading whatever interested me.

I grew an affinity for historical novels, and I specifically enjoyed reading them in the garden.

Ame seemed to also noticed that I enjoyed my time reading, because she would often come and take the book out of my hands.

"Hey! I was reading that!" I yelled at her.

"Not anymore! Catch me if you want it back!" She giggled back at me.

I would give chase, but it was impossible to catch her. She has levels and I do not.

"I AM THE PRINCE! GIVE ME BACK THAT BOOK THIS INSTANT!" I yelled in a desperate attempt to get my book back.

"Then take it from me, oh prince!" She cackled in response.

This interaction would repeat many times. I never understood why she was so set on interfering with my time, but it kept happening nonetheless.
