1 Chapter 1: Assistant

A few hours after the sun had passed below the horizon, rambunctious laughter could be heard from the only inn located in the small village sitting under the protective overhang of a cliff. If the village was larger, maybe there would have been someone in the inn who was not already accustomed to the loud nightly disturbances. A certain pair of travelers temporarily staying in the inn for an extended period of time were prone to unintentionally causing scenes left and right.

"I apologize, Master. It seems I lost track of how much water you had drank throughout the day."

Currently, a woman with her brown hair in twin french braids was mortified at her failure to attend to one of her simplest duties. Her master was standing next to her, thoroughly embarrassed by the situation, although he could not make up his mind on whether he should show his embarrassment or not.

The reason for his embarrassment was a growing puddle at his feet.

Due to certain reasons he was unable to make the simplest of decisions on his own, which meant he required a personal assistant at his side at all times. Unfortunately, his current assistant has been failing repeatedly at telling him to do certain things that are required of the human body.

Such as going to the bathroom. Which is the reason why he is currently standing in the middle of the inn's cafe with a puddle of pee at his feet.

After a certain amount of time, even if he was unable to decide to pee on his own, and his assistant had failed him once again, his body naturally could not hold it in any longer.

This is the nature of his indecisiveness. He literally can not make a choice on his own, and as a result, he has to rely on someone else to choose for him.

The ones laughing are also regulars at the inn, and they have witnessed multiple similar events occur.

The assistant had decided a few months ago that they should stay in this village until she had improved her ability to serve her master. However, she has been thinking for some time now that she is simply not suited to be his assistant. Although she has been searching in the village for some time now, she has found no one who is both willing and capable of being his assistant. Which is why she needs to improve her skills enough that the two of them can travel to a city where she can find the perfect assistant for him.

"Master, let us get you cleaned up, and in bed," she said.
