It all started when the protagonist downloaded a game called "The Fool (Beta Version)," marking a pivotal shift in the style of his life. This was no ordinary game; it lacked visuals and music, composed solely of lines of text and a multitude of choices. Yet, each decision within the game had the power to alter the player's destiny, for on the other side of the game lay a real, unknown world. Players were unable to physically enter this otherworld or see its landscapes, experiencing the alternate realm solely through text, vicariously living each step of their character's journey. As the game progressed, not only could rewards from the game materialize in the real world, but creatures from the game began to appear in reality as well. Then came the day the game was released for global public testing. An era quietly unfolded, where the masses embarked on explorations and treasure hunts in an alternate universe through 'textual adventure,' heralding a new chapter of engagement and discovery.

It all starts with a video game. A simple video game. Sako and Kiyomi purchased a brand new MMORPG called "Qurecynthia", only to get sucked right into the game when choosing their classes. It is quite the inconvenience for Sako as she has a life to get back to. For Kiyomi, not so much. But still, they must find a way to return to their reality. Fortunately, death is not permanent, but there are potentially heavy penalties, such as varying degrees of pain and losing all their gear. There is at least one way, and that is to defeat the Demon Lord, the hardest boss in the entire game. It is a tall task. They must prepare themselves by grinding out levels and obtaining endgame gear, then maybe they will stand a fair chance against her despite the fact that hardly anyone can vanquish her: her stats and abilities are absurd. And sadly, the moderator they encounter refuses to nerf her. Sako and Kiyomi will have to be smart and persistent in their ultimate goal. It will take much time and much effort. The story focuses on the daily misadventures at an IT Office. There, we follow the lives of Carlos Rivera, a socially awkward programmer with a burning passion for coffee, Nina Green, a hard-working support girl with a slight addiction to games, and Garry “The Finger” Johnson, an easy-going guy with an awful taste for jokes, as well as other people working for the Office. Yeah, it’s a Sitcom. _____ Author’s Notes: Hello there, readers. This is a very different kind of story from what you are used to reading on this website. It is a Sitcom and I’m writing it in Screenplay format. I thought about it and the conclusion I came to is that it would be the best fit for this type of story. I am aware that many of you won’t be the biggest fans of this style, but if at least one of you enjoys it, that would make my day. I’m open to suggestions, so, please be sure to leave them in the comments. I plan on writing episodes on a weekly basis. Once a ‘season’ is over, I will take a small break but shortly after, I will continue with the next one. (I hope I can stick to the schedule).
