Chapter 49 - Mother's Love

Yukiya wiped her tears and gave him her final smile. And jumped.

"NOO," Long Ki screamed and ran towards the sky ledge.

He peeked at the fluffy white clods down below. Scrunching up his brows, he gave an accusing look at his mother. "It's all because of you, mother. An innocent girl died today," he screamed.

"Oh, I hope she is not dead, I really liked her as my daughter-in-law." His mother, the queen, wiped her cheeks in a fake manner and murmured, "But she still did not accept me as her in-law, so ran away. All for the sake of love,"

"Love my ass," Long Ki said, glancing down at the gorge. "We. Do. Not. Love. Each. Other. But I would do anything to save that girl from your evil clutches,"

"Then what are you waiting for," his mother whispered with fake concerned look on her face.

"I'm waiting for what?"

His mother huffed and pulled her long sleeves. It expanded into a long scarf in her hands. "Go follow her," she said, and whipped his ass with it.

Losing his fine balance, Long Ki fell down from the ledge as well.

"MOTHER!!!" he screamed while falling down.

The queen slowly walked up the edged and peeked down. "Whoosh, it REALLY is a long way down," she said, wiping the sweat from her forehead.

Her husband hesitantly stood next to her. "Honey, did we have to do that?"

She gave him a double take. "Of course we had to. That Long Ki was born, I already saw his future. If I don't interfere that feeling less brute will remain single throughout his life."

He hesitantly held and hands and whispered, "But did we have to do it this way? The thunder formation could kill them. We could have had a civil conversation with that girl."

"I tried, but I could see that she was against the marriage as well. Besides dont 't worry so much I broke the thunder formation long back." Her husband still had a worried look on his face. Sighing, she held his hands and kissed him softly. "Don't worry so much, their love is going to blossom soon enough, And We're gonna have grandkids soon, Isn't that exciting?" she squealed and pulled her husband's sleeves.

"Oh, very exciting," he murmured and pulled his wife away from the ledge. He waved at the nearby guard and said, "Order the guards searching in the below realms, my first son is not to be disturbed,"

"Yes, your highness," the guard bowed.

"Wait, what about little Aotian? Let him be as well," The queen frowned, wringing her sleeves.

Her husband sighed and pulled her into a tight hug. "Darling, he was badly hurt when he fell. He might be in grave danger. We have to bring him back as soon as possible,"

"NO! Order them to retreat," She shouted. "Trust me; you'd REALLY want them to retreat,"

"What?" he saw the confident look in her eyes. "Wait, did you have another one of your visions?" her husband gave her a confused look.

"Yes, and as of now, Long Aotian is better off with his lover,"

"LOVER!! My son has a lover," He exclaimed with his mouth agape. "When? When were you going to tell me that?"

"Yes, darling, try keeping up," She said strolling past him.

"I'm gonna have another daughter-in-law soon? This is really exciting news." He said following after her.

"I never mentioned daughter- in- law, did I?" She gave him a naughty look.

"WHAT!! His lover is a man!!" he pulled her sleeves and followed behind.

"Yes, dear, and a very cute one too." She squealed, pulling him alongside her. "We are going to have the cutest grandkids ever. Even cuter than that Stella's little midget grandson Jillian."

"So wait, is little Aotian also going to have kids? How? Isn't he with a man?" he gave a confused look at her.

Laughing out loud, she pulled her husband's cheeks and gave a light peck. "He is. Don't forget anything is possible in this world,"

"Oh gods, how many shocks will you give me today? I don't think my fragile heart can handle this many," he murmured, patting his chest.

"Oh, baby," she smiled and caressed his chest.

"I hope you don't act the same with little Aotian's lover though."

"What the villain act? That was just a facade. I won't be doing that again," she swore, holding her hands up.

"Good, I didn't like seeing you as the 'Villain'," he smirked at his beautiful wife.

"Ah, the things you do for your children," she sighed, leaning against his chest.

"Hmm, all the sacrifices," he mumbled, hugging her closer. "I hope one day Long Ki will understand our intensions." He sighed.
