First Day

'I never expected the academy to be big, maybe two stories tall or so, but this is taking small to a whole new level' I thought as I looked at the 'building' before me

It was a dingy, derelict warehouse, that was made to look like a place to 'teach children'

'I mean seriously this place looks like a drug den, what the hell???'

I sigh as I make my way inside with the other orphans that wanted to become ninjas.

They had no clue what they were getting themselves into to be honest

We all walk to the middle of the room, where The Principle, I assumed, was getting ready to give a speech to all of the children. I was proven correct when he stepped up on a raised platform and started to speak to all of us

"Good evening, my name is Oyama Fumio, you may call me Principle Fumio or Mr. Fumio for the duration of your stay here." He said, introducing himself

"I will not sugar coat this speech, this academy is meant to train you into cold-blooded assassins and soldiers. I can guarantee you will not like your stay here, but we will not care. We only care about bringing out your fullest potential. You will be beaten, chewed up, and spit right back out. But at the end of your stay here... you will not regret it"

I looked around at the other kids faces and the majority of them were pale and some looked a little nauseous, likely from thinking about having to kill, but behind most of those pale and nauseous faces were eyes of grim determination. These would be the people who would make it through hell.

Two kids I noticed in particular. One was a short brown haired boy, about the same age as me, who looked on at the Principle with a smirk of amusement. The other was a Green haired girl with amber eyes, one of the ones that looked nauseous, who looked up with such hell bent determination it looked quite scary.

Right then and there, I decided that these kids would be my friends

The principle then signaled someone to come up on the platform. And oh boy was she scary

She had raven black hair that reached to her mid back and deep red eyes, and a stony expression that would make even Glynda Goodwitch sweat. She had on a void black trench coat, and a mesh shirt that covered only half of her torso, and also Black ANBU Pants with the standard kunai and shuriken holsters on her legs, with her headband wrapped around her waist like a belt.

"Ms. Yoshina here will be taking you out to the back for your first day of training" He said with a satisfied smirk

We followed the teacher out back into a field. How this field was not muddy with all of this rain - I will not question. Just some ninja magic.

"ALRIGHT LISTEN UP" Ms. Yoshina shouted at us, causing us all to give her our undivided attention "You little maggots are going to be put through hell and back and then through again. If I don't see you begging for death at least once during your stay with me then I did not do my job correctly!" She continued, releasing a little killer intent, making all of us gulp in fear, and a few kids in the back to piss themselves. It was only myself, brownie, and greenie that were able to stand calm against her KI.

"Hmm, looks like a few of you aren't as incompetent as I thought, good, this'll make it all the more fun to break you" She said with a sadistic grin.

I could've sworn she was looking at me...

"Alright, 50 laps around the track now" she continued. 50 laps? this thing is like a mile long! I know Lee can do like 500 of these on his hands but god damn if that isn't a lot...

So after a bit of grumbling from the group, which was quickly rectified with a quick blast of KI, we started to run

And let me tell you, I am so glad to have gotten all of this Yang Chakra. I mean I stayed in front of everyone the whole time with Brownie staying close behind and Greenie sadly lost in the crowds.

I completed the laps within an hour of starting and then the Devil teacher made me drop and give her 500 pushups because I didn't even look like I broke a sweat. I completed those too without looking exhausted too which I could tell was really pissing her off. I didn't say I wasn't tired, I just don't look like it

So she sent me off ahead of the class to do some more exercises - a couple hundred sit-ups here, a few hundred crunches there. I didn't even start to shine. By the end of the class she was giving me a look of Curiosity and Anger, one from being able to do her excercises, and the other being able to do her excercizes.

I thought she was a crazy woman. I mean who makes a 5 year old walk through hot coals??

I did however get to talk to brownie and I learned his name.

"Hey, you there!" Brownie shouted at me.

"Hmm? Me?" I pointed to myself, confused

"Yeah, you seem strong. Fight me" he said, looking at me with a manic look in his eyes

"Shouldn't we introduce ourselves first?" I asked with with a hint of annoyance, He kind of reminded me of Sasuke with that attitude

"If you beat me, I'll tell you my name"

I sigh "Fine, let's go"

We fought, and oh boy let me tell you, he is strong. nearly as strong as me and he would have beaten me once or twice if he had the experience to use that strength. We fought for nearly 30 Minutes evenly matched until I got a lucky hit on him and knocked him out cold.

I dragged him to Ms. Yoshina and she healed him up in seconds. She did berate us for fighting where she couldn't enjoy the show, however. the sadistic devil

When Brownie opened his eyes he looked at me

"Akei Shinji" he said suddenly

"What?" I questioned "You say something?"

"My name. Akei Shinji" He said louder this time

"Oh" I said with realization "Mine is Jack. Uzumaki Jack!" I said with a wide grin

"You wanna spar later?" he asked with a matching grin

"Of Course I do!"
