2 Dream 2

Ekanya lived near an ancient temple. The temple was made of mud and had creepers growing around the pillars. There was a natural waterfall in the centre under which the 16 feet Shiva statue was kept. To see the statue there was a bridge built which connected the 2 ends of the temple.

There were the high society Brahmins who took care of the temple. These Brahmins were rich with multiple gold necklaces. On each step as you move up to the temple there were 2 guards protecting the place. A brahmin would give away a gold necklace at each step as he climbed as a donation. It was the duty of the guards to collect these necklaces of gold to add it in to the treasury of the temple.

Ekanya's goal was to steal these necklaces before the guard picked it up. She knew the routes of the temple extremely well, where to hide, where to jump everything. 1 necklace could feed her for a week and she never missed a chance to steal.

Few of the guards loved her and tried hard to pursue her. "Marry me" he would say "stop all this notorious activities you might get caught.. be my wife... I earn enough to feed us"

Ekanya was a butterfly who couldn't be bound to anyone and loved her freedom the way it was.
