This story is set in the mid 1600-1700's back when there wasn't much education and rich became richer and poor became poorer due to the caste system.

Ekanya - age 16 was a thin girl with dusky complexion. She had clever brown eyes and an attractive nature and body.

Ekanya was an orphan born in the banks of Tamil Nadu and grew up there. She used to go through any extent and means just to fill her stomach.

In Ekanya's mind nothing was right or wrong just that everything was alright as long as she got food which was a necessity of survival.

She wore minimal clothes just a thin saree to cover herself and lived in a cave. A soft rounded rock she carved as her pillow and there she laid and slept.
